This is a business trip to Asahikawa. The place is on the 2nd floor of the Maruzen Building along Route 12. There is a sign on the 1st floor, so it's easy to find. This month, I've been drinking with my colleague, more than usual (・∀・) I used to drink alone on business trips, so I'm happy to have someone to chat with ♡ Thank you for making a reservation! The seating options are at the L-shaped counter and a raised tatami area. The tatami area is a bit thin, so my legs started to hurt (・∀・) There is an all-you-can-drink option! I used a coupon for a 300 yen discount. I chose the Premium Course which includes various drinks like sake. It costs 1650 yen (゜-゜) The beer is delicious!! Especially on a hot day, it tastes even better (゜-゜) I quickly ordered a second one. I was curious about the sake, but ended up sticking with beer the whole time. The food menu has a variety of seasonal dishes, which got me excited ♡ I tried the bonito sashimi, mountain vegetable tempura, fried beef liver, chicken sashimi, and rice balls (゜-゜) I had high expectations, but there were moments of disappointment. I'm sure my colleague will provide more details, so I'll leave it at that. haha I had a great time for 2 hours. They brought out the last order even though I couldn't finish it. So kind ♡ The bill was around 3000 yen. The owner is humble and the service was good. I wish the tatami area was a bit softer (・∀・)

I visited this place because they seemed to have a good selection of all-you-can-drink sake. The sashimi of spring bonito was fresh but the quality was disappointing. The Miyazaki chicken sashimi platter was frozen and lacked flavor. The fried beef liver had a strong smell. The assorted mountain vegetable tempura was a selection from recommended menu items, but it was not impressive. The premium all-you-can-drink option had different prices for men and women, with discounts available with a coupon. The sake selection was not rare but there were some tasty options. Overall, the food could use some improvement. My apologies to my companion who was looking forward to dining here during their Asahikawa business trip.

I attended a gathering of middle-aged gentlemen called "Ossan no Kai" (Old Man's Club). We didn't have a reservation, so we called around while watching hotpot at Sanroku Eleven. After being turned down by about five places, we finally found a restaurant called "Suisho Senmiya." The deciding factor for this restaurant was the attractive selection of premium all-you-can-drink options, including many appealing types of shochu. With a coupon, we could add premium drinks for free. The food was mainly dishes that go well with alcohol, and we also chose some meat dishes. One dish that I personally found delicious was the deep-fried Hirame from Toyamabetsu. It was a small Hirame, but it had no strong taste and the fin meat was delicious. It was a delightful restaurant with delicious food and unlimited drinks. Check out the details, including images, at http://ffm2007.blog.shinobi.jp/Entry/872 on the FFM Hokkaido Information Station!

Located on the 4th street, this restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a building with bungalows. We used it for a year-end party on Saturday night. The fee was ¥4,000 per person, which included sashimi, hot pot, salad, tempura, whole roasted chicken, and pudding with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The food was satisfying overall considering the price. We had a group of about 20 people, so the staff seemed very busy and it took some time to order drinks, but in the end, we were satisfied. The only downside was that the beer was served in a pitcher, which tends to get warm quickly. It's probably because the staff was short, but the service attitude was excellent, and I would be happy to visit again! Thank you for the meal.

Located on the outskirts of Asahikawa City in Hokkaido, this conscious izakaya is a paradise for drinkers. The all-you-can-drink option is highly recommended, make sure to add 300 yen for premium shochu, and cheers to that! The prices may seem a bit high compared to Sapporo's drink-all-you-can rates, but they have a great selection of shochu that you can't find elsewhere. The menu is mostly seafood-based, but they offer a variety of izakaya dishes. Start with a skewer platter or a sashimi platter and then order your favorite dishes while enjoying your shochu. The rare shochu from Yakushima was a favorite, with a smooth and refreshing taste. By the end of the night, I was a full-fledged tipsy old man, barely remembering what I ate. Oh, the dried katsubushi was delicious, especially with the shochu. The guys from Kyushu were intrigued by it and praised their own shochu as well. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable night of drinking and dining.
