The raisins are really good, and the rum flavor is strong. There are so many raisins. The butter isn't too strong, which is nice. It's a sweet treat, but delicious.

The new Marcey butter cake with walnuts released on April 1st is delicious. The walnuts are generously mixed in and the caramel cream is smooth. Personally, I wish the caramel had a bit more bitterness, but I understand it's caramel after all. The caramel cream doesn't stick to your teeth, which is nice. I had only tried Marcey butter cake once before, but I definitely want to try this one again. Thank you for the meal.

In the Hakkon area, there is a Rokkatei store on the first floor of the Hakkon Ion mall. I bought some snacks for home here while shopping at Ion. I think Rokkatei's snacks are delicious and reasonably priced. My favorites are "Daiheigen" and "Marsei Butter Cake" (my wife likes the cream puffs). Their seasonal products are also always good, so I recommend them for gifts or when you want to eat some snacks.

I quickly stuffed my purchases from Ion into my shopping bag and dashed over to Rokkatei (laughs). I grabbed just one "Yakimochi" and rushed to the register. It's been a while since I had Marusei butter sandwich, and I felt like having it again, so I persuaded my husband to buy it for me while we were out shopping. I also bought a few other items. I wanted to buy yakimochi as well, but the expiration date was short and I was worried about eating too much, so I decided against it. On New Year's Day in 2015 at 11:00, I went to the restaurant with a friend. We tried the "Year of the Snake sweets, zodiac sweets, and zodiac chocolates" at the fourth place we visited that month. The total cost was 535 yen. The food was well presented, tasty, and served in good portions. We did not have to wait long as we ordered takeout. The service was good, and there were mostly female customers. The parking lot was easy to access as it was shared with the Aeon Hakodate store. It was also easy to dine alone. I would consider coming back in the future. The snake-shaped sweets were inspired by a character from the TV show "From the North Country." I mistakenly thought the sheep-shaped sweets were similar, but they turned out to be chocolate with crushed nuts. They were sweet and delicious, but I felt they were a bit softer than usual. The "kona no tai" (red snapper) was quite expensive, but it was large, sweet, and very tasty. It's a summer treat made with plum syrup and plum jam. When I scooped it out, it had the unique firmness of agar. I chilled it and enjoyed it cold. It had a refreshing sweetness with a nice tartness, and it was delicious.

Starting from October, this snack shop is accepting reservations for pick-up in November. They offer a set of four different flavors of omelette quartet, with two pieces each. The flavors include blueberry cream with honey-soaked blueberries, strawberry cream with tangy strawberry jelly, classic custard cream, and bitter chocolate with chocolate cream. The blueberry and strawberry flavors have a sour taste, while the custard and chocolate were my favorite.
