I was invited by a renowned food blogger to "Chiratto Maruyama" at a designated address. When I arrived, I saw a building that looked like a restaurant but couldn't find a sign, and the entrance was locked. I checked my phone and confirmed that I was at the right place. I hesitated for a moment before pressing the intercom button next to the door. A quick response from a woman came, saying, "We've been expecting you," and the door was unlocked and opened. Inside, there was a staircase leading down to a basement-like space, where the famous food blogger was waiting. The bar had a few seats and a standing drinking spot. I decided to try the "Hop Mash Mash @850" IPA from Iwanai Brewery & Hotel, which had a rich hop aroma and a smooth bitterness. Despite being 6% abv, it had a light and refreshing taste that even those who don't like IPA bitterness could enjoy. I also ordered some mixed nuts and a delicious "Tam Curry" to snack on. After spending about an hour relaxing, I left the place, impressed by its unique concept and delicious drinks. I will definitely visit again.

Hidden underground space like a secret base The other day, I happened to meet the owner of MANOMEWO while having a casual drink at the neighboring Cradle. It was a light drinking session with my fellow reviewer for about an hour. The place operates as a standing bar during the day, serving a quick drink, and as a bar after 6 pm. While you can also drink on the first floor of the establishment, the excitement of descending into the secret-like underground space was unmatched. In this hidden room underground, I enjoyed two different types of highball drinks. The bartender for the day seemed to rotate, with a staff member from a certain small restaurant working there on that day. The menu is still evolving, with the lineup set to change based on customer feedback. Although not a canned food bar, I chose the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet) from the food menu. It had a strong dashi flavor, not overpowering, and was quite delicious. I enjoyed the dashimaki tamago while sipping on my highball. Snack items were also provided within a reasonable charge range. ☆☆☆ Next Episode Preview ☆☆☆ Spending time in this special space was very enjoyable, and I look forward to coming back again in the future. Restaurant Information: 2-13 Uradosando Pearl Building 1st floor, B1F, Minami 3 Jo Nishi 23 Chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido 064-0803 MANOMEWO
