クイーンヒローコ
I had lunch in Kushiro. I was in the mood for ramen, so I decided to visit Hosumi, which has a good reputation in the area. I had been there once before they moved, and I didn't have a good impression of the ramen I had back then, so I hadn't been back since. Even after they moved. However, with the good reviews around, I decided to give it a try this time. The place is always full of cars parked outside. I arrived around 1:30 pm, and there were hardly any customers. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats. Looking at the menu, there are many different types of ramen, including tsukemen and abura soba. Impressive. This time, I wanted to try their regular ramen, so I ordered the Hosumi Shio ramen for 800 yen, which looked delicious. I was debating between shoyu and shio. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. It looked delicious, but the portion was small!! Anyway, let's dig in. First, the soup. Oh, it's delicious! Not too salty! My previous bad impression was that it was "too salty," but it's not the case this time. Personally, I prefer it a bit less salty, but maybe this level is preferred in Kushiro. The creamy soup is delicious. It's made with chicken, pork, and seafood. And the ma-yu adds a nice touch. The noodles are homemade, with a good chewiness. They are different from what I usually have. The chashu is made of pork belly and melts in your mouth. It was well-seasoned. Overall, it was very good, but the portion was small. For men, they might need to get a larger size or have a rice dish to feel full. The service from the staff was excellent. I might try the shoyu ramen next time. Thank you for the meal!
