We went to a restaurant near Kuon Station for dinner with my second daughter. She wanted to go shopping at Aeon, so we came to Kuon Aeon. After finishing shopping, we headed to dinner. We ended up at Koko-chan because she said it was fine. It was quite noisy with families and energetic kids in the semi-private room, but it was okay since we were also with a child. We ordered our favorite dishes - potato salad for me, pork skewers, chicken skewers, tsukune, and zangi for my daughter. Since there were no carbohydrates, I added yakisoba and fried rice. For drinks, my daughter had ribbon napolin and I had guarana. The food at Koko-chan was family-friendly and surprisingly delicious, so my daughter seemed satisfied. On a weekend at the Kuwanazono Station, I was originally planning to do some shopping at Aeon and have dinner, but I was feeling tired from doing various household chores during the day. So, when I was invited to have yakitori, I decided to enter the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was quite lively. Due to the impact of takeout orders, the yakitori grill was crowded and there was a wait. I wanted to try the skewers first before ordering more, but I had no choice but to order other menu items. I ordered skewers of chicken breast, heart, neck, asparagus bacon, and an unusual skewer of chicken tenderloin with sauce. I also ordered the addictive celery salad, mentaiko chicken cheese spring rolls, and the highly recommended fried chicken & salted zangi. The celery salad was mixed with sesame oil and salt dressing, which was a good combination. Next, the Hokkaido mentaiko chicken cheese spring rolls had a slight spiciness and a crispy texture. The fried chicken & salted zangi combo was freshly fried and the salt was refreshing, complementing well with the lemon. All were delicious, but the high recommendation had raised my expectations. When the skewers finally arrived, the chicken breast was refreshing and not dry, with added sweetness from the onion. However, the chicken heart was lacking in flavor and texture. The chicken neck was almost there, but could have had more meaty texture. The chicken tenderloin with sauce was surprisingly good. Lastly, I ended the meal with chicken soba, which had a satisfying portion and comforting flavor. It was a good way to finish the meal. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

A little time has passed, and on my way back from drinking in Susukino at the end of 2019, I stopped by Kuwon for a quick drink with my friend. The place we visited was "Itadaki Kokko-chan Kuwon Branch"... I have been there about three times in the past, but this is my first review. It was around 10:30 PM, and the dimly lit interior had almost no customers. We sat at a table and ordered "BEER x2" for 440 yen, "Okra" for 300 yen, and "Tamagoyaki" for 490 yen. The Tamagoyaki was served hot and fresh, but it lacked a special touch. It had a slightly sweet flavor, which didn't quite match well with the alcohol. The "Numbing Chicken Skin Fry" for 490 yen was served cold, almost like it was taken out of the fridge. The texture was quite tough, unlike the expected crispy texture. For the second round of drinks, we ordered another round of "BEER" and "Grapefruit Sour" for 390 yen. Since we had already eaten and drank a lot in Susukino, we finished quickly. I remember the yakitori being decent in the past. I might visit again due to the location. The total bill came to 3,509 yen. So, I ended up at "Itadaki Kokko-chan" to get some yakitori instead. While waiting for my order, I enjoyed some beer and listened to nostalgic music like GLAY and EXILE. The atmosphere was nice, but then a customer asked the staff to lower the music volume, probably because it reminded them of something funny. Anyway, the yakitori was delicious, especially the tsukune and Muroran yakitori. I took it home to enjoy with my family. To the hardworking staff working on Christmas, keep up the good work, someone is always watching and good things will come your way.

To eradicate drunk driving, drivers should not be allowed to drink even a drop. But if the price is the same whether you drink or not, you might be tempted to have just one drink. It's funny that such a system still exists nowadays. It's the policy of the restaurant, so it can't be helped. That's why families with underage members might avoid this place. The last time I came here, I thought it was a bit pricey, and this time too, we spent over 7,000 yen for two people. And we didn't even drink alcohol. Each dish is not that expensive, but when it comes to beef, the prices skyrocket. Other items on the menu also seem overpriced. The food itself is delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and the staff are friendly. But spending over 7,000 yen at a casual dining place... Did we eat too much? Oops!

Zangi is delicious. Highly recommend the chicken ramen as the finishing dish.

In November 2017, my wife, in-laws, and I went to a live concert of a certain artist and visited a restaurant on the way back. Originally, we had planned to go to "Yakitori Taiko" under the bridge, but it was closed, so we ended up at "Itadaki Koko-chan." The four of us enjoyed a 90-minute all-you-can-drink option. We tried the Sapporo-originated ramen salad, which was just okay in taste. The chicken karaage, a specialty of the restaurant, was delicious. We ordered the extra-large portion of 15 pieces for the four of us. The pork okonomiyaki sauce yakisoba was quite saucy and went well with alcohol. The yakitori and tsukune were decent, nothing extraordinary. The chicken omurice had a rich flavor that complemented alcohol. The chicken tamagoyaki had a fish cake-like taste, perfect for pairing with drinks. Overall, the food was satisfying, and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it.

Last time, I found this place at AEON. Come to think of it, wasn't Cocochan also at the Lilac Festival? I remembered because of the gold prize haha. I bet their fried chicken is delicious... I wonder if I should try their grilled chicken skewers? I'm not a fan of Bibai grilled chicken, so I didn't order that, but all the other skewers had a strong salty flavor and were delicious. The potato mountain portion was satisfying! I ordered five pieces of fried chicken, and they were so good! Five pieces weren't enough haha. They have all-you-can-drink option, which I think is a great deal. I definitely want to go back again.

I bought dishes such as breast meat, salt Bibai grilled chicken, salt chicken skin, salt liver, and sesame oil-flavored fried chicken. Starting with the famous fried chicken, it was crispy, juicy, and full of meat juice, which was excellent. Actually eating it, it was juicy, and the taste of ginger soy sauce was delicious. In addition to the charcoal flavor, the liver with sesame oil aroma was soft and delicious! The charcoal-grilled skewers for 90 yen each were of normal size, but they were juicy and delicious. I could feel their various commitments, and I personally liked the light saltiness. I also felt that the quality of the tsukune was quite good, so these were definitely skewers worth repeating. After work, my wife and I visited this restaurant. In the Kuwan Farm area, there is a very delicious yakitori restaurant called "Yakitori Taisuke." At our house, we enjoy Taisuke for yakitori itself, and we use this place for a more izakaya-like atmosphere. First, let's talk about drinks. It's 1280 yen for a 90-minute all-you-can-drink option, mainly focused on beer. Just like most chain restaurants, it's best to enjoy beer here. If you want to enjoy sake or wine, you should order them separately. However, the biggest difference between this place and other chain restaurants like "Itadaki Cocochan" is the deliciousness of the food. Starting from the appetizer of Matsumae pickles, yakitori, tebasaki zangi, tofu salad, yakisoba, and tamagoyaki, everything is delicious. It doesn't taste like typical chain restaurant food. Especially the tebasaki zangi is a masterpiece, very juicy and flavorful. For dessert, my wife had a bite of the Catarana, which was very rich and delicious. The Catarana is from Hanabatake Farm, and it's best enjoyed in silence. Even with all this eating and drinking, the bill came out to around 3000 yen per person. The cost performance is excellent! The energetic staff members make the experience even better. Highly recommended!

During the hospitalization of No.3, I stayed overnight at my parents' house in Kuwan. Today, I returned early from the hospital and at 7:30 pm, my parents and I came here for the first time, even though it's very close to my parents' house. The entrance flag with a fierce-looking bird caught my attention. It was quite crowded on this Friday night. We managed to get a table and started with beer and some snacks like shrimp crackers and edamame. We ordered various yakitori skewers like liver, chicken thigh, and tsukune with grated shiso. The ponpochi and chicken thigh were juicy and delicious. We also had a ramen salad, which I forgot to take a photo of, but it was tasty with sesame dressing. The tamagoyaki was moist and fluffy, quite delicious for an izakaya. The fried chicken was juicy and flavorful with garlic and ginger. My mother even ordered a small rice. The crab cream croquette was a bit over-fried but had a classic taste that went well with the aurora sauce. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at this restaurant that we had seen for years but never tried before.

The chicken character and naming of Cococo-chan are a little funny. I always end up making a detour because I can't help myself. The restaurant has a counter and private rooms for 2 or more people, so you can drink without worrying about your surroundings. They provide knee blankets, hangers, baskets for bags, showing consideration for women. (Of course, there is also a restroom.) Lately, trendy yakitori restaurants have forks to remove meat from skewers. It's good to practice removing meat in advance, so you don't accidentally throw meat at your date. The menu at Cococo-chan is focused on eggs and chicken dishes, with a lot of Hokkaido ingredients and a variety of easy-to-eat items, making it a good choice for families. They offer all-you-can-drink options, but also have a wide selection of individual drinks. None of the food or drinks will disappoint you; everything is delicious. What really makes customers happy is the energetic staff. They are just so friendly! I hope they continue to be like this in the future. This is my first visit. I've been wanting to go for two weeks. Finally, my wish came true. It's a bit crowded on Friday night. There are a lot of families with children. As expected, the food was great! I had tamagoyaki, omurice, ponpochi, tsukune with shiso and umeboshi, chicken karaage, and kataharanachocolate. The appetizer was coleslaw salad. We also had mochi bacon! It cost 3200 yen per person. The tamagoyaki was fluffy and held together perfectly without falling apart. The karaage came with a special sauce that was amazing! We also added a drink all-you-can option, with options like lager, wheat beer, orange, cloudy green tea, and cola. The price includes the all-you-can-drink option. I definitely want to go back again!

I visited this restaurant for the first time the other day. The specialty of the shop is chicken and egg dishes. The interior of the store is quite clean and cozy. The staff's service was also very good. The dishes included assorted skewers, fried chicken, ramen salad, french fries, as well as original dishes like black fried rice and appetizer eggs, which were all very appealing. The fried chicken was crispy and delicious on its own, but when you add the original sauce provided, it becomes refreshing. The sauce was a sweet vinegar flavor. The appetizer eggs were small soft-boiled eggs with a mayo-based sauce that had an exquisite taste. There were many types of skewers, all of which were delicious. We ordered a bottle of Kuro Kirishima shochu, which surprised us when it came in a one-liter bottle! We finished it quickly as we went with a large group, so we didn't end up keeping the bottle, but the option to do so makes us want to come back again. We also tried the Mikan Makgeolli, but it was a bit disappointing as the taste was too light. The smooth pudding was creamy and rich in egg flavor, and it was delicious. Overall, the food was good. We had plenty to eat and drink, and it cost less than 3500 yen per person, so we were very satisfied.

I tried to get takeout during the previous COVID self-restraint period, but was told there was a 1.5-hour wait, so I gave up. This time, the wait was 20 minutes, so I placed my order. The quality of the yakitori did not disappoint, but it also didn't exceed expectations. Well, it's just delicious.

The addictive cabbage, the "Japan's Best" crab cream croquette (a bit over-fried and difficult to eat with crab meat strands), the homemade rolled omelette with scallop broth (a bit pricey but delicious), the Hokkaido pork teppanyaki dumplings (average taste), the grilled chicken skewers (good quality for the price), and the specialty salted fried chicken combo (our favorite of the day). With all this food, plus all-you-can-drink and a 20% discount, it was a great deal at less than 3000 yen per person.
