The other day, after playing golf, I went to eat Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue). It was an all-you-can-eat course with unlimited meat and vegetables. The meat was very juicy and delicious, and the vegetables were a good balance. Genghis Khan can be a bit difficult to remove the smell and I don't really like eating it at home, so being able to eat it at a restaurant like this is great.

The other day, I had a golf competition that started around noon and ended just before 5 pm. Afterward, I enjoyed all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) on the terrace. It was delicious and satisfying. The weather outside was perfect for a summer day.

On Sunday during the daytime, it was very crowded and they didn't bring us water promptly. Even though the person I was with is a regular, they still didn't come. I'm not sure if it's because there are few staff or if the operation is poor. The prices are about 30% cheaper compared to the Kanto region, but it still adds up to over 1300 yen for everything. The food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering, but the staff's service was lacking. The portions looked small, like a small bowl of noodles and a small rice bowl combined to make one serving. When I tried it, it was okay. I didn't feel impressed or anything, just like putting food in my stomach. It felt like eating a meal bought from a supermarket. Well, I guess it's okay for a golf course. Thank you for the meal.

A group of members from Tokyo came to Hokkaido, so we decided to have a mini golf competition at Hokkaido Golf Club. Since golf courses in Sapporo and the surrounding areas are fully booked this season, we made a reservation at Hokkaido Golf Club in Tomakomai. The course was really beautiful with two courses available, and this time we played on the Scottish course called LION. I would like to try the American course next time. After the round, we had a meal at the restaurant which also served as the award ceremony. I was drawn to the teppan-style chicken wing dumplings on the menu, so I ordered them. Although the appearance of the wings was modest, they were delicious and piping hot.

After finishing golf, we went to the restaurant on the second floor. It was crowded, probably because it was the weekend. I ordered the dumpling set from the menu. It arrived shortly and was hot and delicious, with juicy meat inside. It was a satisfying menu for a golf course restaurant.

At the final 18th hole, my second shot for the first time made it over the pond and onto the green. It's not a commemoration, but I decided to have lunch at the restaurant. I also had a drink voucher. For some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about the beef liver and leek stir-fry set meal. I decided to order it for a taste comparison with the Gold liver and leek. It was served last. It was hotter than I expected. The liver's unique texture was minimal, and although the seasoning was different from the Gold liver and leek, this one was delicious too. The rice was just the right amount and cooked well, so I have no complaints. Sometimes it's nice to have something other than ramen or curry. Thank you for the meal. If you order with the drink voucher, you can only get refills for hot coffee.

The start was a lunch plan around 10:30. Please note that lunch should be ordered before the start. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that lunch is only served from 10:00. It seems like they only care about their own schedule and not about the customers. Since there was still time until 10:00, I passed the time with a hot coffee. The coffee was decent and helped pass the time. For lunch, I chose the limited menu curry, ramen, or ankake yakisoba, and went with the curry, specifically the beef tendon curry. It was served promptly and it was delicious with a good balance of flavors and richness. I hadn't had breakfast, so that might have added to the enjoyment. Thank you for the meal. Unexpectedly, we started from hole 11 with a shotgun start, instead of the usual start from hole 1 and finishing at hole 18, which is the highlight of the Eagle Course. Both the lunch timing and shotgun start, combined with the heavy rain later on, made the round a bit frustrating. The score was even more frustrating (laughs).

I came back for revenge on the Eagle Course. It rained the whole time and I was defeated again. As usual, I started with a meal before the start. I have already conquered the limited menu of ankake yakisoba and curry, so I decided to try the last remaining ramen. The ramen has three flavors, so I chose the salt ramen. There are still two more flavors left to try, so I couldn't complete the challenge this time. However, the level of this course is too high for me, so I probably won't come back again (lol). After a short wait, the ramen was served. It was clearly salt ramen. It was good at first, but it started to taste too salty halfway through. It's natural for salt ramen to be salty, but this felt different. I finished the noodles but left the soup. Thank you for the meal. I wonder if the miso flavor would have been better?

Last time I got completely destroyed by a lion, and I mentioned that I wanted to try being an eagle if I had the chance. Surprisingly, I got the opportunity to be an eagle sooner than I thought. It's a meal plan, with lunch a little earlier than usual, around 11 am. You can choose from ramen, ankake yakisoba, or curry. I chose curry this time since I had ankake yakisoba last time. The food came out pretty quickly, which is expected for curry. It's the type where the roux is already mixed in, so you can enjoy a consistent and reliable taste. The meal was delicious. T-shot has a lot of hits and misses, so it's not as reliable.

It was a plan with meals included, which was a good deal. The Lion Course is one-way. As expected of a lion! The ground is not flat, the rough is rough, and the left and right sides are narrow. It's a tough place. I was prepared for heavy rain, but it only ended up being about 30% of what I expected. We had a late meal. There were more staff than customers. There is no menu, you have to choose from the ramen, curry, and ankake yakisoba written on the meal ticket. I chose the ankake yakisoba that seemed least likely to interfere with dinner. It was served quickly. It was a pretty large plate. The sauce was on the dry side. It was a normal ankake yakisoba, nothing special. Thank you for the meal. Once we finished eating, the place was quickly cleaned up (laughs).
