In front of the store, there are vegetables lined up. Inside, on the left side, Aikawa Shoten's vegetables and fruits are displayed, all fresh and vibrant. The prices seem relatively affordable. On the right side is the sweets shop. The glass case is filled with cakes made with plenty of fruits, making your heart dance just by looking at them. Inside the shop, there are five counter seats for eating in, facing the glass window. There were a few customers, including an elderly woman, a woman in her 20s, and two elderly women who came later. Seasonal Fruit Tart with Strawberries for 550 yen was recommended by the staff. The strawberries were sweet and sour, generously piled on top, creating a luxurious feel. The custard cream was rich, and the tart crust was crispy. No unnecessary sponge was used, allowing you to enjoy the tart directly. The Fruit Cupcake for 350 yen came in a square container with various fruits such as melon, strawberries, pineapples, blueberries, and kiwis, topped with custard cream underneath. The Pineapple was particularly sweet. The Soft Serve Ice Cream in a cup for 380 yen was thick and swirled, made with milk from Yamanaka Ranch in Akai-kawa Village. It had a rich and smooth texture, slightly salty, and not too sweet. The Ice Coffee for 250 yen, which became 200 yen when ordered with cake or soft serve, was served with plenty of crushed ice in a plastic cup, with a charcoal-roasted coffee flavor. It was surprisingly delicious. I look forward to trying the Apple Pie next time.

First, I headed to the open grocery store "Aikawa Shoten" on November 7, 2022, and inside there is a sweets shop called "Hale no Kudamono". The floor is divided into the grocery store on the left side from the entrance and the "Hale no Kudamono" sales area on the right side. Honestly, I imagined a dull store with the operation of the grocery store, but it was surprisingly stylish. In front, there is a refrigerated case with cakes, about five counter seats are placed by the bright window, creating a clean and cozy atmosphere. Local housewives visit one after another. The menu includes soft serve ice cream, sundaes, baked goods, coffee, and cafe latte. The prices are reasonable, with coffee at 250 yen and cafe latte at 350 yen (set price is 50 yen off). The items for sale include cookies, pound cakes, jams, and shortcakes, which can also be enjoyed in the store. I ordered a soft serve ice cream cone for 380 yen at the register counter (PayPay payment) and waited a few minutes at the seat. The tray brought over included a wooden stand with the soft serve ice cream, a paper cup with cold water, a plastic spoon, a paper napkin, and a disposable wet towel. It was surprisingly well-prepared and heartwarming. The soft serve ice cream uses "Akaikawa Village Yamanaka Ranch Milk" and is generously portioned for its price, making it cost-effective. Miyaho Station has a soft serve ice cream shop on the left side of the vegetable store. They also offer freshly squeezed orange juice and apple juice, but unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays. The freshly squeezed juice is only 200 yen, which is very cheap, so it's a shame they weren't open. I love the soft serve ice cream from Yamanaka Farm, so I decided to give it a try. There is no parking lot, so I walked there. It's located on the first floor of a large twin apartment building. The prices are 380 yen for a soft serve ice cream cup and 550 yen for a soft serve ice cream sundae with chocolate and citrus. They also offer toppings like berries and red bean paste. I chose the chocolate citrus sundae, but there was too much chocolate mousse and chocolate at the bottom. The first half was refreshing with the Yamanaka Farm soft serve and orange sauce, but the second half became too rich due to the excessive amount of chocolate at the bottom. There was also less orange than I expected. It would be better if the layers were more evenly distributed. There are about 5 seats available for eating in. They also had an apple pie with two types of apples on top, but it had custard which was disappointing. Overall, it was a good meal!

I had been interested in this place on Instagram before it even opened, and this time I came for the parfait! In the winter, they have Japanese-style and chocolate parfaits. The Chocolate Citrus Soft parfait was a bit loose, probably because it was right after maintenance. It had a slight richness due to using Yamanaka Farm ingredients, but overall it was light. The orange confiture sauce they sell in the shop was not artificially sweet and paired well with the soft serve! It's kind of cheating to use that, haha. The leaf pie sticking out was quite authentic, so I thought they definitely know their baked goods...! The chocolate mousse and chocolate sauce weren't overly sweet, making it a well-balanced parfait overall. The fourth generation of the greengrocer, founded in 1932, joined the company in 2020 and started working actively as part of their efforts. The redevelopment around Naebo Station, with redevelopment on both the north and south sides of JR Naebo Station. This store is located a little further back from Kitasanjo Street, and I think everyone got lost with the initial map. They use fruits handled by "Aikawa Shoten" and milk from "Yamanaka Ranch," which is sold directly at the main store's Saturday market, to challenge themselves with new sweets. I bought a "Chocolate Brownie" for 270 yen. While I was also interested in the cakes, my family mainly bought vegetables so I opted for a small brownie. It was a moist brownie with a good chocolate flavor. A confectionery from a greengrocer, it seems like it will surely become a popular shop.

From June 21st (Wednesday) to July 3rd (Monday) from 10:00 to 19:00 (closing at 18:00 on the last day), on the 9th floor Event Hall, try this refreshing dessert: Premium Melon Sundae for 880 yen. It consists of about one-third cup of fresh red-fleshed melon, topped with plenty of soft serve ice cream, decorated with pie and sliced melon. The melon is ripe, sweet, and fragrant, while the soft serve ice cream has a rich milk flavor. The pie helps reset your palate, creating a delicious and well-balanced treat.

At the Daimaru Kobe store, there was a Hokkaido Fair being held with first-time vendors. Everything except for the apple pie and melon soft serve was already sold out. I decided to try the Hokkaido fresh melon soft serve (¥1980). The melon part was made from real fresh melon, while the soft serve was creamy and delicious with a nice texture. It was a great experience.
