This is the area around Subway Gakuen-mae. I visited with a subordinate specializing in mega servings. There is a detective agency called Toyohira Detective Agency nearby, which seems a bit suspicious. It feels like they are investigating infidelity or like a group of elementary school kids playing detective. I thought about getting the extra-large serving, but I have work after this, so I'll go with a moderate portion. The super-sized pork cutlet with rice costs 900 yen and arrives in about 15 minutes. It seems like the serving size is 900g, which is larger than a regular large serving. My partner got the meat rice and said he was getting tired of it. They generously sprinkled powdered cheese on top. The dish was served in a frying pan and was piping hot! The flavor was quite good! The spaghetti was slightly burnt in the pot, creating a rich meat sauce. The pork cutlet was just the right thickness and freshly fried. This was really good. After finishing the meal, I thought maybe I should have gone for the extra-large serving, but this size was enough for now. By the way, this restaurant seems to be part of the same group as Chanbara Shokudo in Maeda, Teine. Thank you for the meal!

I was intrigued by a YouTuber named Acchi in Sapporo, so I decided to visit the restaurant he recommended. It was amazing! I tried the "Dofura Men" (mixed noodles) this time. You can choose the amount: Featherweight (800g), Middleweight (1.5kg), or Heavyweight (2.2kg). I chose the Middleweight. The thick noodles were perfectly seasoned with a sweet and savory sauce, topped with a large amount of bean sprouts, egg, Baby Star Ramen, and chashu, all covered in a generous amount of mayonnaise. I also added cheese as a topping. I cleared the bean sprouts first, then mixed the noodles and devoured it all in one go. The thick, flavorful chashu was delicious! It was a completely satisfying dish! Plus, they are open until late at night and have a collection of 3,000 manga books. This place is highly recommended for when you crave a massive junk food feast in the middle of the night! (*´-`)

※The details of the photo can be found on the @Seesaa blog, which covers food, photos, and bicycles. Ramen 199th shop 'Fuukaidou' is located next to it, specializing in maze-soba during the day and serving set meals at night. It is near Hokkai Gakuen, so it was bustling with students. Menu: Dofura Men Feather Class for 700 yen. It's a quite rich and junky maze noodles. The thick sauce is not used as expected, but rather a considerable amount of watery soup is spread at the bottom of the bowl. It has a strong sweet and salty taste with a hint of garlic. The chashu is also salty and gooey. Other ingredients include raw egg, bean sprouts, cabbage, tenkasu, Baby Star, cheese, and garlic chives, offering a wide variety but none of them stood out. The noodles are very thick but have a soft and easy-to-bite texture, lacking the firmness I expected. I was surprised that the noodles served at the restaurant were completely different from what I had anticipated. Unfortunately, I couldn't accept the noodles. Thank you for the meal.

The "Toyohira Detective Team" is a cool set meal restaurant that is overflowing with comic books. Rumor has it that it also serves as a hidden gathering place for ramen shop staff. During lunchtime, it becomes a "mix soba specialty shop." I visited to try their "mix soba Dofura noodles/Featherweight" dish, which comes in Feather, Middle, and Heavy sizes. The Heavy size is the large portion. It took about 15 minutes to prepare, and the owner advised to mix it well. The dish had a strong flavor with a sweet-salty sauce and mayonnaise-coated thick noodles, reminiscent of yakisoba. It also had a strong garlic flavor, with toppings like bonito flakes, cheese, raw egg, and Baby Star ramen. The round pork belly chashu had a great texture, but the sauce was too salty for my taste. Overall, the dish didn't suit my preference, but the unique atmosphere and friendly owner made it a place worth visiting again.

I went to a certain famous ramen shop next door and was disappointed by the results. To refresh my palate, I decided to step into this restaurant. I ordered the smallest size of mixed noodles (Dofler noodles). Even though it was the smallest size, it was quite satisfying. The thick-cut chashu was juicy and much tastier than the one from the neighboring ramen shop. The noodles, although not my favorite thick type, had a good firmness and chewiness, so I was satisfied. I was worried that the mayonnaise might be too strong, but when mixed together, the oiliness and acidity balanced out well, and I quickly finished it, even though it was my second meal. The Baby Star Ramen scattered throughout was a nice touch. Encountering such unexpectedly delicious food, I am very satisfied. I look forward to its increasing popularity in the future.
