讃岐そば
I returned to Sapporo from Otaru and passed through Teine around 11 o'clock. Feeling hungry, I searched for a casual restaurant nearby and found this place. Luckily, I arrived at the same time as their opening at 11:30, so I could easily enter the restaurant with available parking. The place had high ratings, so I was happy about that. I sat at the unique counter and checked the menu, which had three options: thin zaru, thin kamayaki, and kamayaki. I ordered the thin zaru based on my mood, but I couldn't wait and also ordered a small kamayaki. I had thin zaru udon (2 large servings) for 680 yen, small kamayaki udon for 600 yen, and simmered kelp for 500 yen. While waiting, I enjoyed two types of tsukudani with grated ginger. The simmered kelp was so delicious that I bought some as a souvenir. The serving pot was too big and hot. The thin zaru udon arrived first, and even though there were two servings, they were thin so I finished them quickly. Since it's not Sanuki udon, it lacked firmness, and I preferred the regular kamayaki. The kamayaki was good for having one serving or two. I think thick udon is tastier. Choosing this was the right decision. Normally, I would go for three servings. Adding a lot of ginger made it satisfying and the broth was delicious too. After 1:30, you can get three servings for 150 yen, which is a great deal for takeout, but the prices inside are higher due to condiments and tsukudani. Overall, it was a good meal. Thank you.
