The restaurant featured on the TV show "Discover! Takatoshi Land!" on August 18, 2023, used to be a factory called Shokukobo Aji Gokoro, where I once worked part-time. Located in a residential area, the restaurant may be hard to find for the general public. With 8 counter seats and 2 tables in the back, there seems to be no need to wait, but it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance. There are a few regular customers, so information is limited. The prices for individual dishes are reasonable, and the alcohol prices are moderate. It seems like a place where you can enjoy a quiet drink rather than a rowdy atmosphere, and there were no smokers. It's a cozy place that caters to those who prefer a quiet drink. You can trust the quality of the food, thanks to the master's skill. I'll definitely be going back after leaving a bottle of shochu there.

Visited again on September 1, 2020. Last time I came by car so I couldn't drink, and the place was full of regular customers from the neighborhood, so I couldn't choose or order any side dishes. It ended up feeling like a potluck party brought by the regular customers. Incomplete combustion. I had decided that I would definitely come back with someone else! So I invited someone and we visited together. Instead of ordering individual drinks, we opted for a bottle of Kagemizuki which was a much better deal. Let's eat! First, some sashimi: 600 yen for fresh tuna and 400 yen for mackerel. The sinew was running sideways. How was that again? The fried eggplant was 380 yen and the fried natto was from the neighboring table. I also had some onion rings for 200 yen and squid rings for 300 yen. I like them both. The potato salad was round and had cheese inside. Good for cheese lovers. The hokke fish from Rishiri was 500 yen and although not very big, it was delicious. The pork belly and daikon was also tasty. Everything I ate was delicious. This place seems like a hidden gem for regular customers. I think it's important not to disturb the regulars, but it seems like they accepted us. I will definitely come back.

By the way, how did you find out about this place? The regular customer sitting next to me was surprised haha. Well, I stumbled upon this place because it's really a single-family house in a residential area, where the garage was turned into a store, and only known by the locals!! People who have visited this area in the past, only Tom visited 8 years ago! Amazing! (laughs) I found this place about a month ago, but I only took a picture of the exterior, so I didn't know where it was ( ; ゚Д゚) But! (laughs) I remembered Tom's past review and finally found it♪( *´艸`) However, it was just a place I saw... I wasn't sure if it was really open, so I took a chance and visited, and the lights were on♪♪(^^) I saw customers from the outside, so I felt relieved♪ When I went in to take a look, there were more customers than I expected haha. I managed to sit at the counter and said, "Good evening♪ Nice to meet you♪" before it quickly filled up ( ; ゚Д゚) What kind of place is this? It's so popular even though it's hidden in such a place, and it used to be a garage in a residential area (sweat). Unbelievable popular spot with only regular customers (laughs) I couldn't talk much, but I want to come back to this place♪ I definitely want to come back!! Since there's no all-you-can-drink option, it gets expensive if you drink a la carte. So I'm thinking of inviting someone who can drink Kagetsu and finishing a bottle. The dishes are generally cheap and delicious, right? I had the Mini Eel Bowl for 600 yen and the Kushi Katsu for 250 yen♪ The interesting part was that the regular customers were sharing bread baked by one of them, and I also tried it, and it was delicious (laughs). It felt like I had wandered into a home party ( *´艸`) Ufufu. I reported to the owner that I have a Tabelog account towards the end, and got permission for this registration, but the atmosphere wasn't conducive to snapping pictures all over the place, so there are no menu or interior images. See, it's hard work to register something new♪ I don't want to write things that seem like I understood everything from just one visit to a place that values its regular customers. It will only lower the evaluation of the restaurant on Tabelog (^-^;
