We used this restaurant for our third party. It felt like having light carbohydrates. The sushi is indeed delicious. However, the price was a bit high, we spent around 26,000 yen for four people in two hours. It might be better to come here just for sushi. As a third party venue, it was surprisingly expensive. Next time, I want to enjoy just the sushi properly. That's the kind of restaurant it was.

Having beer in the middle of the night is a must here. There are not many places where you can enjoy a delicious beer late at night. The beer here is consistently delicious! I ended up eating too much, thank you for the feast! I will definitely come back again! Highly recommended for those who want to drink a lot more.

While waiting, I enjoyed some appetizers, salad, and chawanmushi with my beer. The sushi that arrived looked delicious, with some pieces melting in my mouth. The tuna (akami) here is excellent. I usually don't eat much tuna at other sushi restaurants, but it's so delicious here that I always order it. The fact that they are open 24 hours is also great, as you can go there even after drinking or missing the last train. In the past, we used to write our orders on paper, but now they have touch screen panels, which makes it easier. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the food is worth it. Just be careful not to overeat, as the bill can add up quickly.

On January 22, 2023, I revisited Sushizanmai Susukino store, facing the Susukino intersection. It had been quite a while since my last visit. During lunchtime on a holiday, there were about five minutes of wait time for customers. I ordered the signature dish, Sushizanmai (Oomawari-tsuki). It was served faster than I expected. The dish included a luxurious eel nigiri that stood out, along with a selection of top-quality tuna including Otoro and Chutoro. The sea urchin was especially delicious. Overall, the prices are a bit higher compared to other famous sushi chains in Hokkaido. However, this reflects the high level and fair pricing of sushi chains in Hokkaido. Thank you for the meal.

I feel disappointed when I am shown to a table even though there are empty seats at the counter. There is a touch panel on the table, making it feel more like a family restaurant than a sushi place. On a lazy afternoon during the holiday, I decided to visit "Sushizanmai" in Susukino after a long time. It was a hot day for June, so I felt like having a beer somewhere. I had a light lunch at a cafe, so I thought sushi would be just right for a bit more food. As I entered, it was a time between lunch and dinner, not as crowded as usual. I started with a "draft beer" (660 yen). The appetizer (242 yen) was marinated squid and kelp. When it comes to Sushizanmai, I always crave for "tuna". The tuna here is delicious. There was a special "early summer recommendation" offering a five-piece set of various parts of tuna. I ordered the "Special Five-piece Nigiri" (1,408 yen) which would have been 1,716 yen if ordered individually. It included "otoro", "chutoro", "akami", "aburi toro", and "negitoro". They were all delicious. The otoro was fatty and sweet, chutoro had enough fat, even the akami had a slightly fatty texture. The aburi and negitoro were amazing too! I also ordered the "Extra Large Red Shrimp" (250 yen), which was quite big and even had the head attached. It came with tasty miso. I planned to have a light meal with a bit of drinking, so I asked for the check. I finished with some refreshing "green onions" (162 yen) and ended with "tamago" (107 yen) for a laugh. Since it's open 24 hours, you can come in anytime and enjoy "a little drink and a little snack". It's a convenient place for such a casual dining experience!

I hadn't eaten dinner, so I decided to try Sushizanmai for the first time. There were options like ramen or parfait for a finisher, but what really hit the spot was the salty soup from a sushi restaurant. I ordered a bit of sushi and a clear soup. The salt and vinegar from the sushi rice really hit the spot for my dehydrated body. I made sure not to overeat, and it was a satisfying meal. The sushi may be a bit pricey, but considering the location and the late hours, it seems reasonable. I highly recommend it as a way to finish off a night of drinking too much. Hmm? I might be able to eat oysters! I went to Sushizanmai after a long time and asked the chef for today's recommendation. It turned out to be oysters! He showed me some really big rock oysters. I'm not a big fan of oysters, but since I was there, I decided to try the regular-sized oysters instead of the rock oysters. My friend ordered the rock oysters, which were so big that we burst out laughing. They had a strong smell of the sea, which I didn't like... But I tried a bite. Oh, it's delicious! I visited a seafood bowl place with a faint hope of finding a salmon roe bowl on the morning of April 22, 2022 (Friday). Unfortunately, they didn't have salmon roe bowl, so I settled for sushi, which was delicious. However, it was disheartening to see so many drivers who don't consider turning off their lights while parked, causing inconvenience to pedestrians and other vehicles.

Honestly, having a 24-hour restaurant is really convenient for when you finish a drinking party or are still hungry. It's a place where everyone feels like friends, chatting while eating sushi and drinking. I went there to eat and enjoyed dishes like grilled squid, shishamo, fried shrimp, and grilled salmon belly before having a delicious sushi set with red snapper, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna. The red snapper here is especially tasty for some reason. I also had some red clam to finish off the meal. The special promotions I mentioned are already over, so you won't find them if you go now.
