Run by five hardworking university students prioritizing their studies, this cozy spot offers takeout through the window. They specialize in cream soda and waffles, with colorful soda options like green, blue, white, pink, and yellow - the pink one is a favorite among girls! The syrup flavors remind you of festival stalls, and although the soda portion may seem small, it disappears quickly with the ice and ice cream toppings. Today is the eighth place I visited... ( ; ﾟДﾟ) I'm quite active, aren't I? Opened on July 1st, 2021, Monkoji is a bar where they operate on a rental basis. They are only open for three days, from Thursday to Saturday. Their business hours are irregular, so please check before visiting. They sell cream soda and waffles. I mistakenly thought Totoron was a shop that sells ice cream and waffles. It is located in a residential area one street south of Nango Street, which might be a bit hard to find. They have five different colors of cream soda, and I tried the blue one recommended by the shop. They offer three types of waffles. Since they hand them to you directly, they don't provide a bag for takeout, so make sure to bring your own bag or order an amount you can carry with both hands. The waffles were cute but average. The cream in the cream soda was delicious, and it was the first time I thought cream soda was tasty (*^^*).
