On my day off, I visited a Korean restaurant for breakfast. The place opened at 7 am which was great for early risers like me. When I arrived, the "OPEN" sign was already up, and the interior was clean and bright, although there were some boxes stacked in the corner. I ordered a Kimbap which came with pickles and soup as a complimentary side. The Kimbap was neatly wrapped in an aluminum foil with the restaurant's logo on a transparent plastic bag. The filling included carrots, cucumbers, ham, and egg, all rolled in seaweed with a hint of sesame oil. The taste was mild and delicious, although the rice was a bit soft for my liking. The pickles were pickled radish with a refreshing tanginess, and the soup was a light chicken broth with fish cake and green onions. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would love to try more spicy Korean dishes in the future. If I have the chance, I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

A new Kimbap (Korean rice roll) shop has opened. I went there right away because there is no parking. The shop is small, with a clean white and yellow interior. Now, which one should I choose? The options are:
- Bulgogi Kimbap for 700 yen
- Spicy Duck Kimbap for 650 yen
I decided to order the Bulgogi Kimbap and it was delicious with plenty of beef. People of all ages will surely enjoy it. It also comes with Korean-style pickles. I heard the Spicy Duck Kimbap is a bit spicy. I would like to go there again, but when I passed by recently, it was closed. I wonder if it's still open. The packaging is also stylish, and it's a nice gift. It was delicious - Thank you for the meal. 🍽️

Bomnal is a specialty shop for Kimbap, open from 7am with a focus on breakfast and lunch. The store has a stylish exterior and interior, with visually appealing Kimbap on display. The Kimbap, wrapped in foil-like material, is quite substantial. I purchased the Tuna Mayo Kimbap, which was pre-made and ready to take away. Unfortunately, my first choice was sold out, so I settled for the Tuna Mayo Kimbap. It was filled with tuna, vegetables, egg, carrot, and lettuce, giving it a healthy and sesame oil-flavored taste. The set came with soup and pickled radish as a bonus, making it a satisfying lunch option. The store is located at 加森ビル6 1階Bomnal(ボンナル), 4-148 Minami 1 Jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido 060-0061.

The cute exterior looks like a cafe. When you walk in, the showcase at the counter is filled with samples of kimbap, including dakgalbi and spam. The cute packaging is trendy and when you open the paper, the homemade feel is evident with the aluminum foil. The kimbap is about the size of an Ehomaki and has a good amount of filling. It's made with care and has a gentle flavor without being too oily. The staff were friendly and the eat-in space looks inviting. It's a great stop for when you're visiting the snow festival, just a 5-minute walk from the Shinjo station. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This corner seems to have a high turnover rate, and now it has turned into a Kimbap (Korean seaweed roll) shop. Kimbap is like a Korean version of sushi rolls. It seems to be popular for business lunches as they open from 7 in the morning and close early. I tried the classic 500 yen Kimbap (I couldn't figure out how to read the name "Bomnal"). They also gave me soup and pickles as a service. When I opened the aluminum-wrapped Kimbap, it was filled with various ingredients, but I couldn't quite tell what they were. The taste was a bit bland, and I felt like it needed some soy sauce. Nevertheless, I finished it and felt quite full. The portion size was impressive for the price of 500 yen.

[Access] Located to the west of Odori Park, it is a bit of a walk from Sapporo Station or Odori Station. If walking is a hassle, you can easily reach the shop by taking the subway to Nishi 11-chome Station.
[Ambience] The atmosphere is simple as the main focus is on takeout.
[Menu] Various Korean-style kimbap are displayed in the showcase, ranging from familiar tuna mayo to egg-based kimbap. The colorful menu looks visually appealing and choosing is fun.
[Taste] I ordered the tuna mayo and bulgogi kimbap, both having a light and healthy flavor overall. However, the portions might be considered a bit large for those with a small appetite.
[Service] The staff is efficient, and orders are quickly prepared. They are also friendly in explaining unfamiliar flavors.
[Price] The prices are reasonable. *Those who prefer strong flavors may find the prices a bit high.
[Recommended for] Recommended for those who enjoy light or mildly flavored dishes and kimbap lovers. *Those who, like me, prefer strong flavors may find it a bit lacking, so caution is advised.

There are various types of kimbap. I had Bomnal Kimbap, Tuna Mayo, and Bulgogi, then brought them to Street Light Brewing to enjoy with craft beer. It was delicious! #Korean cuisine #Sapporo #Hokkaido is great #hokkaidolove #gourmet #EnoLog

Bomnal Kimbap and Bulgogi Kimbap are available for takeout, with soup and pickles included for each kimbap. I was interested in other menu items as well, but didn't want to spend too much time deciding. It would be nice if they provided more detailed descriptions of the flavors. Maybe I'll try a different flavor next time.

I visited a restaurant in the West 11th district early in the morning. Although they weren't serving dine-in at the moment, I bought some Kimbap to go. The normal Kimbap had a good balance of vegetables and rice, with a light sesame oil flavor. It came with complimentary soup and pickles, which was a nice touch. I also tried the cream cheese Kimbap, which was delicious with the cream cheese adding a creamy texture. Overall, I enjoyed the healthy and tasty Kimbap and would like to try other varieties in the future. Thank you, Bomnal!

I went to buy takeout around 10 o'clock. There were no other customers when I arrived, but one group came in after me. They had all varieties available. Each roll comes with oden soup and pickles. The soup has a gentle flavor and is comforting. I bought bulgogi, cream cheese, tuna mayo, and chicken rolls. The tuna mayo roll was a bit sweet and slightly fell apart. It was not greasy and the kimbap was delicious and refreshing. The rolls were cut into bite-sized pieces, making them easy to eat. It's a shame that there is no parking lot where you can quickly stop by and leave. The restaurant was stylish and trendy.

A shop that was featured on TV for its delicious Kimbap. The display is cute and the Kimbap is very tasty. The crunchy vegetables and chewy rice are excellent.

The kimbap was packed with various ingredients. It was not too heavy on sesame oil and had plenty of vegetables. The tuna, cream cheese, and spicy flavors were delicious.
