I visited "Cowboy Kitano Store" for the first time in September 2022, so I decided to take a look. I remember seeing a noodle factory in Ebetsu called "Maruchoku" next to the Ebetsu Michi no Eki vegetable market "Fresh Hiroba Kanona". They are actively expanding to "Cowboy" as well. I recall that they also opened a standing soba and noodle direct sales store called "Maruchoku" at the north exit of Sapporo Station. I bought "Yakisoba Thick Noodles" for 100 yen. It's rare to see thick noodles for yakisoba in Hokkaido, so I decided to try it. I will add cabbage and pork belly, and eat it with Otafuku sauce. They also sold fresh soba, so I will visit the store at the north exit of Sapporo Station next time.

Shinsei, Cowboy-san! I used to go here often to buy alcohol. I thought it would be a larger store. It's a supermarket with a variety of prices, from cheap to regular. I was aiming for soba noodles. There were so many types to choose from. I ordered: - Three-Piece Pork Belly for 494 yen, a cheap chunk of pork belly! - Sakura Fresh Pasta for 199 yen, pink pasta with a hint of cherry blossom scent. - Black 80% Buckwheat Soba for 299 yen - Horokanai Ameryu Soba for 199 yen, soba noodles with a good texture. I enjoyed the simple cold broth. The selection here is amazing, you can buy without going to Ebetsu! I'll definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal!

In the cowboy-themed noodle corner, we enjoyed some fresh somen noodles (2 servings: usually 280 yen) on sale at the direct sales store for 200 yen. Such a great deal! The chewy somen noodles were delicious. We also tried the Horokanai Ameryu soba (2 servings: usually 380 yen) on sale for 250 yen. Another great deal! It's so nice to be able to enjoy high-quality soba like this at home. Even though it's not a big supermarket, the store had a lot of attractive products. I envy the locals! I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

Discovered at a roadside station, Maruha Seimenjo offers a variety of affordable and delicious ramen options for souvenirs. I was debating whether to buy expensive authentic souvenirs at New Chitose Airport or opt for a more budget-friendly option with satisfying volume. At Maruha Seimenjo, I found: Kumaichi Ramen 6-pack for 500 yen each (originally 1200 yen), Shiro Miso 5-pack for 500 yen each (originally 1500 yen), Business-use fresh ramen (thick noodles) for 300 yen, Chicken bone soup for 50 yen each (4 bags), and "My Oil Soba" (2 servings) for 250 yen. The ramen selection was impressive and I ended up buying Business-use fresh ramen for home and "My Oil Soba" for myself. The boxed ramen was surprisingly cheap at 500 yen each, making it a great find for a bulk purchase. The ramen was delicious, both the boxed and other varieties. At Cowboy Kitano Store, there are many types of noodles that you wouldn't see in other supermarkets. I found one for 199 yen on sale from 399 yen and decided to try it. The 80/20 soba noodles only took 3 minutes to cook, and they expanded in quantity! They were easy to eat. I would like to try more types of noodles in the future.

It was thriving and bustling, but for various reasons, it disappeared, which was quite sad. However, I heard that the founder has brought it back, so I visited right away. The store now houses 14 specialty shops, and "Maruha Seimenjo" is one of them. They sell fresh noodles like ramen, udon, soba, yakisoba, hiyamugi, and more. I bought 2 items from their wide selection of noodles! The "Sauce Yakisoba" (3 servings for 180 yen) had chewy thick noodles with a hint of spice, very delicious! The "Kumakichi Ramen" (medium thickness for 99 yen) reminded me of the Kumakichi Ramen I used to have near my house. The thick, slightly twisted noodles soaked up the soup well and were delicious.
