The ice cream was sweet, but refreshing because it was cold. The combination of banana, cocoa powder, and maple syrup was very tasty. My companion had the limited edition strawberry pancake for June. The strawberries had a hint of acidity, but the strawberry jam and ice cream were sweet, creating a perfect balance. It was also delicious. I may not have had the courage to go in as a man, and I had the impression that it was a food for women, but I would like to eat this again, so I am grateful for being invited. Both were delicious. I had orange juice for the first time here, and it was delicious and amazing! It was sweet and the aroma was good. It was a hot day, so it tasted even better. I forgot the name, but it wasn't just regular 100% orange juice... it was on the left side of the drink menu spread. I had tried to park here before but it was always full, so this time I arrived at 10:30 before opening and was able to park in the covered area in the back. I had pancakes with honey melon and maple cinnamon. The cinnamon was a bit too strong, so I could have done without it. The fluffy pancakes melted in my mouth quickly. So happy!

I finally managed to squeeze into the last parking space at a restaurant I've been curious about for a while and went in to visit. The staff greeted me with a dry and businesslike manner and directed me to the second floor. I climbed up a narrow staircase that only accommodated one person at a time and found that the tables in the back were crowded, so I decided to sit at the counter-style seats near the front. Shortly after, I was served a glass of water and handed the menu. Although they had omelette rice, I had already decided on pancakes for today, so I carefully looked through the menu. I chose pancakes with anglaise sauce, strawberries, and cinnamon powder. They also offered to add ice cream for free if I ordered hot tea, so I gladly accepted the offer. I had brought a book to read, so I lost track of time without realizing it. When the pancakes (3 pieces) arrived, I was delighted to see that they were fluffy and pale, about 2 centimeters thick. They looked so cute. I first tried a bite of the whipped cream. It was cold, with just the right amount of sweetness and a rich milk flavor. Delicious. Personally, I thought the whipped cream was perfect in terms of texture and thickness. Next, I tried a bite of the pancake. It was fluffy and airy. I personally moved the ice cream to a saucer when it was served on top of my tea. I highly recommend adding the free option of rock salt as a topping. Personally, I would be happy if they offered butter as a topping. The tea I ordered this time didn't have much flavor, so I rated it 1 star. Lastly, the restaurant is not implementing any COVID-19 prevention measures.

This is the area of Maruyama Nishimachi. I decided to walk along the mountainside of Maruyama. The ups and downs were tough, so it felt different from my usual walk. After walking for a while, I reached Maruyama Nishimachi and took a break at Hydrangea Coffee, which I had wanted to visit. It was the only customer in the store. The parking lot in front of the store was full. When I entered, there was no one inside. It was a strange situation. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I entered, "Are you here for pancakes?" They said it would take 60-70 minutes if I wanted pancakes, so I ordered something else, opting for the Crème Brûlée and French Coffee set for 1,045 yen. The area around Maruyama, Miyanomori, and Maruyama Nishimachi is indeed expensive. More customers kept coming in, but they were told the same thing and ended up leaving. And to say it would take 80 minutes... what's up with that? The Crème Brûlée was elegant and delicious! But I can't imagine paying over 1,000 yen for this volume and coffee. I would like to try the pancakes again, but it seems like they are refusing orders, so I probably won't revisit. Thank you for the meal.

First visit. I had Maple x Marron, my friend had Salted Caramel x Nuts, both were very fluffy! The store is spacious with seating on the first and second floors. Upon entering the second floor, we found ourselves in a calm and cozy space decorated with dark wood. We sat on the sofa seats and looked through the menu, which offered many tempting options. I chose the "Choice Order Pancakes" with a drink set, topped with strawberries and maple syrup. The set also included ice cream as a topping, which was a nice surprise. While waiting for the pancakes to be cooked, we chatted leisurely. After about 20 minutes, the pancakes arrived. They were soft and fluffy, and cutting through them was effortless. The texture was so moist and tender that it almost melted in my mouth. I don't usually eat souffle-style pancakes, but these were really delicious. Three pieces were quite filling, especially with the ice cream on top. We enjoyed our drinks and had a relaxing time. Although the cafe is a bit far from home, I would love to come back for tea again.

I decided to order pancakes since it was my long-awaited visit. I enjoyed being able to choose my own sauce and toppings for the pancakes. When they arrived, they were fluffy and slightly gooey. The taste was delicious, but I found them a bit too sweet, especially towards the end. I ended up craving something savory like Eggs Benedict. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is definitely worth a visit!

My favorite pancake place in Sapporo is actually my second visit (I will post the photo of the first visit when I find it). It's usually crowded, and you may have to wait. Even after finally getting a table, you have to wait for your order to be served. But I still want to eat the pancakes here! I always end up choosing the same flavor after much deliberation. The taste and texture of the pancakes are my favorite in Sapporo. The location is not the most convenient, the wait time is long, the service is average, and the prices could be a bit cheaper, so that's my evaluation. But the food itself is 5 stars. I definitely want to go back for more!
