As usual, I came for lunch. The sushi here in this residential area is excellent and delicious. While this expression may not be accurate, there is no roughness or unpleasant smell, just a clear and delicious taste backed by careful work. The vinegar on the rice is subtle, which may be a matter of preference, but I feel it is a characteristic of Edo-style sushi. Furthermore, the cost performance for lunch is definitely outstanding. It tends to sell out quickly, so please be aware if you plan to visit. The master, with a sense of cleanliness and refined skill, and the beautiful hostess welcoming you with a smile, make this a wonderful restaurant! I will definitely visit again!

Sushi restaurant in Toyooka, Asahikawa City. I visited for lunch. The building is relatively new and the interior is clean and pleasant. The chef and his wife provide excellent service. They offer "nigiri" and "chirashi" lunch sets. Both come with soup, side dish, coffee, and dessert for 1,650 yen. It's recommended to visit early as they have limited quantities. I ordered the "nigiri lunch" (1,650 yen). The nigiri pieces were elegantly sized with a mild vinegar flavor in the rice, which I enjoyed. The selection included tuna, flounder, mackerel, sweet shrimp, scallop, egg, surf clam, crab, squid with sea urchin, and amberjack. It was a satisfying lunch sushi with good quality toppings. The side dish for the day was jellyfish salad, followed by coffee and dessert. The dessert was vanilla ice cream sprinkled with soybean powder, and the coffee was strong and tasty. They had a variety of fresh toppings displayed, making me want to visit for dinner to try more!

Today is "Sushi Day," so let's review a sushi restaurant. I was invited to go eat sushi, and we went to this place. When we met at the parking lot, they already had a sign saying "Sushi Lunch Sold Out" by 12:15. It was limited quantity! (Luckily, because we knew someone, we were able to get it.) They had two lunch options, one for 1,100 yen and one for 1,500 yen. I had the Chef's Choice Nigiri Lunch for 1,500 yen (excluding tax). The meal started with a delicious mushroom soup and a side dish of Chinese jellyfish. The nigiri included tuna, white fish, mackerel, sweet shrimp, scallop, yellowtail, sea urchin, crab, hokkigai, and egg. The sea urchin was not in a gunkan style, which was interesting. The rice was a bit off, maybe due to the lunch setting or the vinegar not being fresh. After the meal, I had coffee and ice cream. The coffee was strong and tasty. The restaurant used to be in a different location nearby but recently moved to a new building, which was clean and had a calm atmosphere. I would like to visit again at night.

We came for lunch with colleagues and saw the menu at the entrance. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, clean, and has a nice white wood theme. We ordered the chirashi lunch and nigiri lunch, both come with coffee and dessert for 1,100 yen (excluding tax). The chirashi sushi had a luxurious selection of toppings including tuna, yellowtail, cured mackerel, sweet shrimp, octopus, squid, salmon, scallop, flying fish roe, salmon roe, and tamagoyaki. The portion sizes were not too big, making it suitable for women. The restaurant also has a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so I would like to come back for dinner sometime.

This was my first visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very elegant. The sushi was delicious, but the cost performance seemed to be poor.

On May 3, 2018, I arrived at Asahikawa Airport via Fukuoka and Haneda, and immediately visited this restaurant recommended by my parents for the first time. I had Uni-don for 3000 yen on that day! The Zangi was also delicious!

One weekday, feeling like eating sushi, we searched for a non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Found one we haven't been to before, checked the reviews, and decided to make a reservation. The exterior had an elegant feel, perfect for a sushi restaurant. Inside, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and the atmosphere was pleasant. They offered two lunch options - nigiri and chirashi - both with a side dish, coffee, and dessert for 1500 yen. The nigiri was just the right size with fresh toppings, and the sushi rice was perfectly seasoned. We leisurely enjoyed the dessert and coffee as well. I wonder what my husband is having for lunch right now... I decided not to dwell on it and just enjoy the meal.

I needed a last-minute reservation for a special occasion and thought of this restaurant. It had been a while since my last visit. I called and asked for a reservation, leaving it up to them. They mentioned that if I had called the day before, the ingredients would have been different, but it was a sudden decision. The sashimi was excellent, as expected. The miso-grilled eggplant and eel sushi were superb - I was completely satisfied. I quenched my thirst with a draft beer, then enjoyed some sake. I was so happy and in a great mood as I savored the delicious food. Next time, I want to make a reservation in advance and enjoy their chef's choice course. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
