I visited Tonkatsu Tamafuji on the second day of its opening at the former Mai Izumi site. I opted for the Pork Chop Bento priced at 781 yen, which caught my eye despite the Special Bento being a good deal in the 600 yen range. The ketchup sauce paired well with the large pork cutlet, which was cut in half for easier eating. The rice was delicious and I look forward to trying the Katsudon next time.

On June 30, 2023 (Friday), Sister: Hirekatsu Don (pork cutlet bowl) for 815 yen, Torikatsu Meshi (chicken cutlet rice bowl) for 556 yen. Brother: Tare Katsudon (sauce cutlet rice bowl) for 741 yen. I love the flavor of the sauce in the Tare Katsudon.
