In May 2023, I wandered around the streets and came across Kamiya Building, a cozy yakitori izakaya called At Home. The atmosphere was lively even on a weekday evening, so it seemed like a good idea to make a reservation. I started with a delicious glass of draft beer for 600 yen. The appetizer, moyashi namul, was a common choice for 300 yen. I enjoyed various yakitori skewers, including chicken gizzard for 180 yen and quail for 230 yen. The most popular choice was the quail, which was marinated in soy sauce and sprinkled with sansho pepper. I also tried the chicken meatball with green chili sauce for 250 yen and the chicken tenderloin for 180 yen. Both were cooked to perfection. I wanted to order more, but it seemed like there would be a long wait, so I decided to leave. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Reservation for 2 people at 6pm on Saturday. I called about a week in advance. It was my first time visiting, but the friendly staff made me feel welcome. They offered to hang my coat outside to avoid smoke. We started with a Super Dry beer for a toast! The appetizer was bean sprouts, crispy and delicious. The chicken skewers were a must-try, juicy and flavorful. We tried the cheese and egg skewers, both were so tasty we couldn't stop thinking about them the next day. The seared tuna was served with a sweet soy and sesame sauce, perfect with warm sake. The combination of soy sauce and sake warmed both body and soul. Can't wait to go back!

The other day, I felt like eating yakitori after a long time and visited this place. The restaurant was full, but I managed to find a seat at the counter. The yakitori and other dishes were consistently delicious, and you can smoke inside, so it's a good place for those who enjoy drinking and smoking.

It had been a while since my last visit. I arrived right when the restaurant opened for business. Luckily, I managed to make a last-minute reservation, as this restaurant does not accept walk-ins. This time, I enjoyed my meal at the counter seats. The grilled chicken skewers were delicious. They were cooked perfectly and I was very satisfied.

I sometimes go to this shop. It's located in the center of town, so it's very easy to get to. I ordered a beer first. Then I ordered yakitori and after a short wait, it was brought to me. The yakitori was delicious. It was tender and well seasoned. There are also various other appetizers available, so I recommend this shop. It's better to make a reservation in advance.

It's been a while since we visited "Yakitori Sakaba Donku" with a few friends. I heard that their meat dishes are delicious, so it's been on my list for a while. I was the first stop for the night, but others seemed to be on their second or third stop and were already in a good mood. We started with a beer and ordered the "Sunagimo Tuna Salad" which had a nice crunchy texture and went well with the tuna. Next, we had the "Toriwasa" with chopped seaweed, green onions, and wasabi, paired with sake. Then we tried the "Natto Takuan" wrapped in seaweed, which had a fun texture. I even thought about trying to make it at home. The "Chicken Liver Skewer" with a sweet and savory sauce was also delicious. Overall, everything we tried was tasty and I would love to visit again. The bill came out to around 2,000 yen per person for an hour-long stay. Thank you for the meal!

I was invited by my friends for the first time at this restaurant. We all raised our glasses together! Here is a photo left behind... The appetizer of smoked gizzard with mayonnaise was crispy and had just the right amount of smokiness, very delicious. We ordered liver skewers, grilled chicken guts, chicken sashimi, and pickled vegetables. The liver on the skewers was fluffy and delicious without any smell. The grilled chicken guts and chicken sashimi were fresh and made great snacks with drinks. The pickled vegetables with natto were served with chopped natto mixed with pickles on seaweed, but I didn't try it. It's a reasonably priced and delicious yakitori restaurant for casual drinking.

Sapporo, Susukino. The second stop for this month's Sapporo drinking party is Yakitori Sakaba Donku. The full group gathered here today (^_^) It's nostalgic when food bloggers drink together and everyone takes photos at the same time haha. The beer for 500 yen is Sapporo Super Dry. Hmm, it's a bit lighter than I remember... Did I forget the taste after not having it for a while? The server's condition is good though (^_^) The appetizer is smoked gizzard with mayonnaise. It's crunchy and delicious. The smoked flavor is also good, making it a great appetizer (^_^) - Grilled chicken gizzard skewer for 500 yen: Low-temperature gizzard with plenty of shallots and sesame. Served with garlic and ginger. You can taste the freshness of the meat, it's really delicious. I like it here (^_^) - Chicken liver with wasabi for 520 yen: Plenty of shallots and seaweed. Served with wasabi and ginger with sauce. The texture is tender and the flavor is good. No smell of chicken, it's tasty (^_^) - Natto and pickled radish (requested by myself): Natto, pickled radish, green onions, and sesame. Wrapped in dried seaweed. Not exceptionally delicious, but natto is good, right? If someone says I haven't eaten vegetables today, I insist that natto counts as vegetables haha. I don't dislike vegetables, but they tend to fill me up (^_^;) - Liver skewers for 180 yen each x 5: Liver grilled rare. Served with mustard, giving it a Kirittoshita sauce that leans towards saltiness rather than sweetness. The liver itself is delicious too. Overall, I really liked this place. I think I'll come back again! Thank you for the meal (・∀・)

Counter seating for 9 seats? 2 tables, with upbeat pop music playing in the background. The appetizers included deep-fried chicken gizzards and plenty of seasoned seaweed with fresh sashimi in a sweet Kyushu-style soy sauce with ginger. The chicken liver was tender and had a unique texture. I enjoyed wrapping the natto and pickled vegetables in seaweed. The skewers were generously topped with mustard. They also offer fish dishes, curry, and chicken salt ramen that I would like to try. Thank you for the meal! Note: It is October.

Welcome. ---------- October 2016 ----------A new restaurant on the 5th floor of Kamiya Building along Tsudori Street, specializing in skewers. The restaurant has a warm and spacious atmosphere with a J-shaped counter and three boxes. The staff, mostly young, are friendly and welcoming. The menu is simple, with 90% skewers and 10% side dishes. Starting with the bean sprout namul, the flavors of sesame oil, salt, and pepper create a nice accent. Other recommended dishes include tender and smooth tataki, cucumber pickled in beer, and potato salad with a mayo and black pepper accent. The skewers are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned perfectly with salt and yuzu pepper. The pork tongue has a good chew and juicy flavor, served with yuzu pepper. The tsukune has a crispy surface and a soft inside, accompanied by a unique sauce. The tomato is juicy and bursting with flavor, complemented by salt and mayo.
