You can enjoy high-quality Shiraoi beef grilled over charcoal at Amano Family Farm, and it's more affordable than other restaurants! This time, we tried the top-grade Shiraoi beef kalbi set. The marbling in the beef is so good that the fat doesn't drip even when grilled. The set comes with salt, sauce, salt ponzu, garlic, and rare bean paste. You can also customize the sauce to your liking! We also visited Sagiri-yu in Noboribetsu for a relaxing bath in the natural hot spring before heading to Amano Family Farm. The bath cost less than a coin and the facility offers a great experience. The restaurant has table seats, sunken kotatsu seats, and terrace seats. We opted to dine inside due to the smell of cows outside. I ordered the top-grade Shiraoi beef kalbi set with extra rice, while my companions ordered the regular Shiraoi beef kalbi set. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and didn't shrink or lose its fat when grilled. The top-grade beef had a noticeable difference in quality compared to the regular one. The set also included rice, soup, homemade cabbage kimchi, grilled vegetables, and a mini drink. The rice was perfectly cooked, the soup was delicious, the kimchi had just the right amount of spiciness, and the grilled vegetables were amazing. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Amano Family Farm.

In my family, it is a tradition to go out for a meal to celebrate birthdays. Although it was a little early, we went to Amano Family Farm to celebrate my brother's birthday. I chose the White Beef Kalbi Set (1,900 yen including tax). The set included 130g of kalbi, grilled vegetables (onion, bell pepper, pumpkin), a small bowl of rice, soup, and white cabbage kimchi. When I saw the generous portion of meat, I couldn't help but smile. It looked so delicious! Even after grilling, the meat maintained its beautiful appearance. I realized that high-quality White Beef is truly delicious. This experience took place in September 2023.

This is a famous restaurant in Shiraoi, Hokkaido known for its beef. I ordered the premium kalbi set and premium tongue. The premium kalbi set was priced at 3300 yen but it was very delicious with high-quality marbling. The premium tongue was made from the tongue base and was also very tasty. It cost 2950 yen per 100 grams (pictured is 200 grams). It was a top-notch restaurant that I would love to visit again.

On the second day in Hokkaido, we had lunch at Amano Family Farm, where we had made a reservation. They serve delicious Shiraoi beef, where you can enjoy both meat and offal. The offal was also fresh and my son loved the liver. I tried a little bit and was surprised by how fresh and tasty it was! At the end of the meal, we were given a huge cucumber as a service, which made my son very happy. There were seasonal flowers and goats in the garden. Thank you for the delicious meal! The assorted lean meat was tender and delicious, and I couldn't stop eating. The liver had no unpleasant smell, was tender and moist, and delicious! The Yumepirika rice was light and paired well with the grilled meat.

I called right before and luckily managed to make a reservation as there was one seat available. It was a very peaceful place with a spacious garden, and the barbecue was fantastic. Each plate of meat was generous in portion, so you can be quite satisfied. The sausages were also very large. Since we were on the terrace, bugs tended to come around, so if you're not a fan, it's better to sit indoors. The children played in the garden after finishing their meal. There were also goats, creating a soothing atmosphere.

After a long time, I visited Shiraoi Gyuu for some delicious beef on a drive. Today was a great day, both the Misuji and Sirloin were very tasty, but the Fillet was exceptional! (If they always serve this, I would definitely come more often!) I think adding a variety of alcohol options like wine would make foreign tourists happy, so please consider it!

It is a black-haired Japanese cattle brand that represents Hokkaido, which is attracting high interest not only in Japan but also from overseas. In the UK magazine "LUX life magazine," the "Restaurant and Bar Award 2023" is presented annually to 50 excellent restaurants worldwide. In 2023, three restaurants from Japan were awarded. One of them is "Amano Family Farm." Amano Family Farm raises white-haired cattle, and the restaurant located next to the ranch provides meat from the ranch. Here, you can enjoy fresh meat that is impossible to achieve in urban restaurants, and it is truly impressive that it is a restaurant located next to a ranch. I only know of "Uemura" along National Route 36 as a place that serves white-haired beef. The day before, while drinking at "Yakitori Ichihira" in front of Noboribetsu Station, I had the opportunity to talk with the group next to me, who recommended "Amano Family Farm." According to them, if you are a local in Shiraoi, you would definitely choose this place because of its high quality and cost performance. The next day, I made a reservation and set off from home. The location is a 5-minute drive north on the Shikisai Road after getting off the Shiraoi Interchange on the Doto Expressway. If you are coming from Shiraoi Town, it is about a 10-minute drive in the direction of the Shiraoi Interchange on National Route 36. Since it is located away from the town, it is essential to travel by car. Upon arrival, I found a wooden building along the road to the ranch. There is parking space for 5-6 cars in front of the shop and a significantly large space at the back. They were preparing charcoal work next to the shop. The interior of the shop is a simple log cabin style. The tables are also made of wood, giving a rustic ranch feel. Since we had made a reservation, we were seated in a bright, spacious table by the window. It is a 6-seater, so it is quite spacious. There is a square box with charcoal preparation near the entrance. There is a meat sales area near the exit, where you can take out meat only. The shop was almost full by the time we arrived. The menu includes lunch set menus and individual meat items. The white-haired beef kalbi set (similar to a set meal) is 1900 yen, and the hormone items are 750 yen for heart, and 1000 yen for kalbi. The "Carefully Selected Seven Variety Assortment," where you can enjoy various rare parts of a white-haired cow, costs 14,000 yen. It is stated to be for 2-3 people, but we decided to order additional if it was not enough. Since meat alone would be heavy, we also ordered rice. In the middle of the table, there is a rectangular groove where the charcoal box fits. Considering that it takes a bit of time from ordering to arrival, they seem to be cutting the meat after ordering. The meat that appeared was much more luxurious than expected, and it was surprising! The parts included in the assortment were as follows: - Uchimomo (rare part lean meat) - Shikinbo (rare part lean meat) - Mizuji (rare part marbled meat) - Katashin (rare part marbled meat) - Rib cover (rare part marbled meat) - Hile head (rare part lean meat) - Sirloin (top-grade marbled meat) Additional orders: - Special tongue (2950 yen) - Fresh liver (850 yen) - Wagyu hormone (780 yen) - Seasonal vegetable kimchi (450 yen) It's quite a large portion! Each piece of meat is labeled so you can tell what kind of meat it is. It would be nice to grill each piece one by one, but I was too busy taking photos and videos! The kimchi is made with garlic chives, and it is delicious! All the meat is incredibly tender and delicious!

The second generation son is also working hard! The beef is not highly ranked among Shiraoi beef, so local people don't go there much. The quality also varies a lot, so even with the same top or high rank, it can be quite different depending on the day. There is a swing in the garden, so families with children can enjoy themselves, and the charcoal-grilled beef in the log house is always delicious!

I went to Shiraoi for a hot spring dip, and when in Shiraoi, you have to try Shiraoi beef! So, I decided to visit this place where they offer reasonably priced sets. We arrived right when they opened, but there were lunchbox reservations being prepared, causing us to wait. Finally, the lunchboxes were ready, but more groups arrived with reservations, so we had to wait even longer. After all that, we were finally able to order the Shiraoi beef kalbi set and pork hormone. The wait was worth it, as the Shiraoi beef was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. It was delicious, and we also made our own adult-style barbecue sauce to enhance the flavors. Despite the long wait and hungry stomachs, we enjoyed the meal, but didn't feel completely full, so we decided to find another place to eat. I went to Shiraoi with a friend for the purpose of earning Upopoi points. We went to a place recommended by a colleague who has a hometown in Shiraoi. The special yakiniku set was very delicious! The high-quality meat tasted even better. We made a reservation before going, but it seemed like the turnover was surprisingly fast during lunchtime.

I made a reservation through Hot Pepper and decided to go just after it was featured in the newspaper. To be safe, I waited until they started serving soft serve ice cream before going. We ordered the following: Shiraoi beef kalbi set for 1,800 yen, extra rice for 110 yen, premium loin for 2,200 yen, chicken thigh for 1,000 yen, seasoned kalbi for 800 yen, grilled vegetable set for 450 yen, small portion of rice for 180 yen, rich soft serve ice cream in a cup for 350 yen, and iced coffee for 400 yen. I had been curious about this restaurant as I passed by it on my way back from another BBQ place before. It's truly a popular spot, with customers coming in one after another. The atmosphere feels warm and cozy with all the wood. We shared the meat among three people, and it was lean and light. The chicken thigh was a bit chewy. The soft serve ice cream is available from April to October and is from Okada Farm in Shiraoi-cho. They also sell quality meat and bento boxes. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

A restaurant located a little away from the town center of Shiraoi where you can eat Shiraoi beef. I visited this place for lunch with my colleagues as we were on a business trip towards Noboribetsu. The building has a log house-style exterior and the interior is designed like a barbecue house. They offer menu items like steak and yakiniku, and the meat is cooked on a shichirin brought to your table. There is an exhaust duct, but the smell can still stick to your clothes, so be careful. The Shiraoi beef steak is divided into different grades based on price, and this time I ordered the safe choice of "Top Sirloin (200g) for 3,800 yen" and added "Special Kalbi (100g) for 2,000 yen" to share with my colleague. The top sirloin cut seemed to be from the rump, but the meat was very tender with a good balance of high-quality fat and the umami of red meat, making it very delicious. The special kalbi had a bit too much fat for my middle-aged taste, but the quality of the meat was high, so it was a very satisfying lunch. The cost is on the higher side due to it being Shiraoi beef, but I recommend it when you want to eat delicious Shiraoi beef.

Reservation for visit. The time is 5:00 PM and the restaurant is quite crowded. The restaurant has a lodge-like atmosphere, with seating available outside as well. The high ceiling and good ventilation prevent clothes from picking up smells. There is a charcoal grill set up near the entrance. We chose a table seat, with chairs made of logs. Water was served even before ordering, with refills available. At the table, there were various sauces, salt, pepper, grated garlic, bean paste, toothpicks, and tissues. There was no music playing, allowing us to focus on the delicious Wagyu beef. We ordered the premium Kalbi, premium loin, thigh meat, and assorted offal of the day. Unfortunately, tongue and premium tongue were sold out. The premium Kalbi and loin had amazing marbling but weren't too fatty, with a good chewy texture and incredibly delicious taste. The thigh meat was juicy and flavorful, showcasing the true taste of the meat. The assorted offal included 6 types, each offering a different taste and texture, making it a great choice. For vegetables, we ordered a salad and grilled vegetable set. The thick mushrooms in the grilled vegetable set were full of flavor and satisfying to eat. Including alcohol, the total bill for 3 people was 10,720 yen, offering great value for money. We were very satisfied with the meal. They also sell meat, sauce, and kimchi for takeout near the entrance. The water pressure in the restroom sink was quite strong, making it hard to adjust.

I visited a restaurant to try their white beef steak. I decided to splurge and ordered the most expensive option, the "premium sirloin" (200g). Each table had charcoal for grilling the meat, similar to a yakiniku restaurant setup. Since I don't usually eat such high-end meat, I found it a bit too fatty and rich. The person I was with tried the "extra premium sirloin" and also found it quite fatty, so I think I may prefer leaner cuts like red meat or filet mignon.笑

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, so I did some research beforehand. The restaurant is known for actively sharing information online. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from steak to grilled items. I decided to try the Japanese beef hormone, which is not something I usually have the opportunity to eat. When we were seated, I noticed there was a charcoal grill at the table. I realized that we would have to cook the steak ourselves. I wished I had known this beforehand, as I would have preferred to leave it to the professionals. I ordered the filet, while my companion chose the premium sirloin. We also ordered a platter of 6 types of hormones, tripe, and beef sausages. Overall, the food was delicious. The sirloin was tender and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture, while the filet had a perfect balance of meaty flavor and richness from the fat. However, I didn't feel the same appreciation for the freshness of the ingredients as I would have if I had bought them directly from a farm. Cooking thick cuts of meat on the grill turned out to be quite challenging, especially as the charcoal grill's heat gradually decreased. For double the price, you could opt for the special 60g premium meat course, which includes the chef's cooking skills and performance. It's a tough choice between that and the DIY grilling experience. Overall, in terms of value for money, it's great for a barbecue experience.

I went for lunch on the weekend. After that, a group seemed to come in, and the staff seemed too focused on them, almost like they wanted us to leave quickly, which affected the service. It would be better if they didn't let other customers in if they were busy. The meat was average, but a bit pricey for the portion size, so I didn't think the cost performance was very good. The celery kimchi was delicious.

Celebrating our 716th wedding anniversary againヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ✧ Completely forgot about it on the actual day, so I decided to treat ourselves to some meat after work and headed to Shiraoi ε=(ノ・∀・)ツ Found a ranch restaurant nestled in the forest. Unfortunately, it was raining that day, but we had made a reservation assuming it would be crowded on the weekend. The place was not very busy, with only a few customers, but the inside of the restaurant was smoky and my eyes were stinging (つд⊂) It felt more like an old-fashioned yakiniku place rather than a fancy restaurant. There were reasonably priced sets in the thousand yen range, but we decided to splurge this time♪ Our order↓↓ ・Special BBQ Set 6264 yen ・Shiraoi-grown mushrooms 378 yen ・Okra kimchi 453 yen ・Rice (small) 162 yen/(regular) 216 yen And... beer( ゚Д゚)ノ The special BBQ set was even more luxurious than we had imagined! The beautiful meat was mesmerizing (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍) ホニョ〜ン Special sirloin/ filet steak/ special kalbi/ special thigh totaling 360g was more than enough for two people. The quality and quantity of the Shiraoi beef at this price point was impressive(゚Д゚)!! The marbled sirloin and kalbi were excellent cuts of meat with just the right amount of fat. The thigh had a nice chewiness and brought out the flavor of the lean meat. The most delicious was the filet! It was incredibly tender and could be enjoyed even without strong teeth(*´∀`) As I get older, I find that I prefer lean meat♡ The thick-cut mushrooms were grilled slowly after being flipped and sprinkled with salt. I love mushrooms. The okra kimchi was delightfully slimy. The rice was a bit disappointing. Among the restaurants where you can enjoy Shiraoi beef, this place is relatively affordable. Today is Saturday, the day of beef! I'm going to eat Shiraoi beef! The air conditioning isn't working well, so it's hot and tough, but the meat was delicious. I enjoyed the Kalbi, Hormone, and Tongue. Shiraoi beef is really tasty! The rice and soup were a bit disappointing though. The couple next to us ordered Filet Steak and Sirloin Steak - that's the way to go if you come here! Kalbi set for 1728 yen, Hormone set for 1026 yen, and Tongue for 1058 yen. Thank you for the meal!

I visit this yakiniku restaurant about once every two months (the staff seems to have recognized me now, haha). Anyway, they serve delicious Shiraoi beef. Our must-order items are the diced steak, today's assorted platter, grilled vegetables, and seasonal kimchi. We also order tongue, loin, kalbi, or sirloin depending on our mood. Before leaving, we always buy their hamburgers, which are also delicious! While we usually order individual items, they also offer great value set menus. There are many other Shiraoi beef restaurants in the area, but we think this one is the best.
