I had always wanted to go to Bakudan but never had the chance. Finally, my wish came true and I went there. The entrance to the shop is not visible from the main street, so you have to enter from the side facing the riverbank. At first glance, it looks like a log house-style private residence, but once you enter the shop, the scenery changes dramatically. The display clearly shows that the owner is a fan of Eikichi Yazawa, with posters, flags, records, Coca-Cola signs, and more covering the walls. There are two large displays hanging from the ceiling playing concerts. The exhaust system is also stylishly designed in black and red, making the shop quite fashionable. Now, the main attraction is the Yukkejang Ramen, so I quickly ordered that. I also ordered grilled meat, lamb, sagari, and horumon. The meat was of good quality and delicious, but the price for beef was on the higher side. The Yukkejang Ramen came in a large-sized suribachi. The noodles were Asahikawa ramen's low water content noodles. The spiciness was moderate. It had a strange sweetness and the soup lacked richness, but the umami of the ingredients stood out in a chemical-free way, making it quite appealing. It seemed like they used ground meat instead of sagari for the meat. As expected, the Yukkejang Ramen at a yakiniku restaurant was delicious. However, the portion was quite large, so if you finish it, you might get full, so a side portion of meat for one person would be enough. I felt satisfied with the Yukkejang Ramen and the carefully selected meat at this restaurant.
