Two adults stayed at the adjacent hotel (Hitoka) for the first time and used it for dinner. This restaurant operates in two shifts, and we attended the 17:45 session. The head chef, Onishi, provided a detailed explanation of the course and ingredients before serving the appetizers all at once. We also ordered the chef's recommended wine pairing (4,500 yen for 4 glasses). The dishes created by Chef Onishi using local ingredients paired perfectly with the wines from the onsite winery. This is a restaurant and accommodation that we would like to visit again.

A restaurant where you can enjoy French cuisine using plenty of Hokkaido ingredients. The appetizer is a vegetable-centered one-plate dish. The white asparagus and zucchini were particularly delicious. You can fully taste the natural sweetness of the vegetables. The main course is a luxurious dish featuring fish, beef, and pork. The blue soy-wrapped grilled dish was especially delicious. It goes well with the walnut and almond sauce. The dessert is also served on a one-plate dish, with strawberry ice cream, melon, and tart available.

I stayed at the Hotel & Condominium Kazuha and had breakfast there. The buffet had a good variety of dishes, including Hokkaido vegetables, soup curry, and a milk tasting comparing different Hokkaido milks. I was surprised by the variety of soups available, such as Hokkaido's famous soup curry, Minestrone with plenty of Hokkaido vegetables, red wine and Furano onion soup, and Hokkaido crab soup. It was fun to taste different kinds of milk and realize how different they can be. I enjoyed my meal in the morning and would love to stay here again when I visit Furano. I also want to try their dinner next time.

In Furano, Hokkaido, the hotel & condominium Ichika's restaurant Kanza is a must-visit for wine lovers. The hotel bistro-style dining offers seasonal ingredients and natural wines. The wine selection is fantastic and can be found in various places nowadays. We had a course meal with plenty of vegetables, seafood, and meat. The abalone shells were returned to the winery's soil, which was a nice touch. Visiting the winery on the premises will make the dinner even more delightful. The menu included a vegetable platter with homemade sauce for starters, Hokkaido seafood parcel, local beef grie, and Upper Furano pork red wine stew for mains, and a Furano fruit parfait for dessert. I stayed at this hotel with a high rating and delicious food for dinner included. Dinner is served in two shifts, and I chose the earlier time of 17:45. The dinner started with an explanation of the dishes. The appetizer plate is for two people and includes a variety of seafood, vegetables, and meat, making it enjoyable to eat. It would go well with wine, but I had a soft drink (Haskap squash). After leisurely enjoying the appetizer, the main course (one serving each) arrived, featuring Hokkaido beef, Kamifurano pork, and Nemuro flounder. The dessert selection is also diverse. It was delicious and enjoyable, and looking at the photos made me want to go back again.

I made a reservation with a wine tour at Domaine Leson. Last time I visited, I was able to taste almost all the wines, which was a lot of fun. Since I stayed overnight, I returned to the hotel and enjoyed tasting various wines with explanations, which was also enjoyable. The meal did not disappoint either! The assorted appetizers were beautifully presented and delicious, and the meat and fish dishes paired perfectly with the three types of wine. Having explanations made it even better. I would love to stay again.

I visited "Kanza" in Furano City. It is located in the main dining area of Hotel & Condominium Ichika. Ichika is a hotel run by a winery in Furano City. The rooms are clean and there is a beautiful public bath, making it a very stylish concept hotel. Since it is a hotel run by a winery, they also offer winery tours and the dishes here are designed to be paired with wine, allowing you to enjoy each dish with the perfect wine pairing. The cuisine is in a bistro French style, utilizing local ingredients while still being easy to enjoy. Each dish is paired with wine and is delicious. Dishes like white asparagus, potato chips, and cheese made with local vegetables are a true blessing of Hokkaido, visually appealing and pairs well with wine. The main meat dishes, made with local beef, including asparagus, were also delicious. They offer a variety of bread and desserts like Furano melon, all emphasizing the concept of using local produce. It was delicious. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This time, the hotel & condominium HITOHANA offers a plan with two meals included, breakfast and dinner. Dinner is served at the Bistro KANZA on the first floor, which I reserved for 8:00 PM. The dinner consists of a European-style course using ingredients from Hokkaido. It's hard to believe that such a meal with this room would only cost 10,000 yen per person. The course was quite sophisticated and the taste was great. It would be interesting to have Hokkaido ingredients in Western cuisine like this. I also ordered red wine and grape juice, but it was still very affordable. The atmosphere was also nice.

I was captivated by the winter streetscape during my previous trip and had been wanting to visit Furano again. I was disappointed to have to stay in Sapporo for three nights before heading back, but then ANA contacted me to change my return flight due to the cold wave. I took this as a sign to head to Furano, and made a reservation at the newly opened Hotel & Condominium Ichika. I had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. While there was an à la carte menu available, I opted for the course menu. I enjoyed a happy time with the hotel's own winery wine and the delicious food. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the staff serving us were from the same hometown as us during our conversation. Both the restaurant and the hotel were lovely spaces. I would love to visit again for a longer stay next time.
