Main street area. A famous yakiniku chain restaurant in Kitami. It's been about 15 years since I last visited the Minami 2-jo store, and it's quite busy. You are seated at the counter with a reservation. The staff at this group have been part-time workers since the old days, so the level of service varies at each store. The group as a whole has a campaign on Meat Day, but the content varies by store. Probably depending on the number of customers, unpopular stores offer high-priced meat, so it's recommended. I ordered: - Aged meat platter (3278 yen): The top kalbi was not available as shown in the picture, but the regular kalbi tasted better than usual. The sauce is sweet and has a unique taste typical of a popular yakiniku restaurant, better than other chain stores. Other meats were also good. - Negi miso tongue flap (638 yen): Tasted good with a strong garlic flavor. - Meat Day easy hormone miso (209 yen): Thin hormone. Tastes better with salt than miso. - Meat Day easy hormone spicy (209 yen): Tastes better than miso! - Oolong tea (330 yen): My wife had it. - Square highball (528 yen): A special highball, but the carbonation is weak and the strength is just right. Overall, it's okay. - Mega lemon sour (605 yen): Just the right strength, stronger carbonation than highball. Large quantity, taste is above average. - Otoshi (330 yen): Similar to ponzu sauce with mimiga (pig ear). [Overall impression] On Meat Day, it's best to try the stores that offer top kalbi and special kalbi. I do not recommend the all-you-can-eat Wagyu beef. Thank you for the meal♪

I was looking forward to trying the all-you-can-eat at Mikaku-en for the first time. Today, I went with 8 colleagues from work for a long-awaited feast. The all-you-can-eat and drink option cost 5000 yen. There were various types of meat available such as pork, lamb, chicken, and offal, but we ended up ordering 90% of the premium Japanese beef kalbi. The appearance of the meat alone was enticing, and once we tasted it, we were even more hooked on the Japanese beef kalbi! The skirt steak was also delicious! You can choose between sauce, salt, or the "Kitami style" where the meat is not marinated in anything. I didn't check if all types of meat were available in Kitami style, but I think it's a great option. When I have BBQ at home, I usually just use salt and pepper, but the sauce for the Japanese beef kalbi was incredibly delicious. We also tried the cold noodles, which were served in a half portion and didn't taste too vinegary, but were very tasty. If I were to visit this restaurant again, I would definitely go for the Japanese beef kalbi! It was that delicious. Of course, there were also various soups and kimchi available. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Today, I tried the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink plan for 5,000 yen. The thick-cut beef tongue was also included in the all-you-can-eat option, which got me really excited. The meat was definitely thick-cut... but on the bright side, it provided a satisfying chew! It was a different experience compared to other places' beef tongue. Among the all-you-can-eat options, the skirt steak and salted hormone were delicious! I also recommend trying the various types of kimchi. My stomach is full, but I couldn't help but think that the quality of the meat is expected to be like this in all-you-can-eat situations. That was my reflection on today's experience.

I visited Ajikoen for entertaining guests 10 years ago, and decided to revisit with my wife based on my vague memory of it being delicious. Ajikoen not only serves delicious meat, but also has a tasty dish with miso sauce and garlic called "Nanban Miso" that really stimulates the appetite. Thank you for the meal.

I found a Hokkaido support coupon and decided to visit the restaurant, which is famous in Kitami City. Despite being a weekday, the place was bustling. I started with the aged sagari and aged kalbi, both juicy and sweet. The Kitami-style eight internal organs assortment had a nice texture and was delicious. Since the meat was not seasoned, I enjoyed the aroma with just salt and pepper at first. The only downside was the strong smell of either the ice-chilled raw hormone or pork intestines, so I had to eat them with sauce. The meat was delicious, so I think it would have been better to go for the all-you-can-eat option. I'll try that next time!

I went to this restaurant with my daughter because I had a great experience there with my former colleagues. They offer reasonably priced Japanese beef. Although they have all-you-can-eat options, we decided to order individual items. In the end, we only had 5 drinks between the two of us, so it worked out well. Since I drink alcohol, I skipped the rice and enjoyed dishes like Yukgaejang soup. I forgot to take a picture, but we had beer and beef tongue as well. As for the meat selection, they had a lot of items sold out that day. They had various cuts of skirt steak, but no Japanese beef available. Some beef tongue was also sold out. They had a set with various cuts, but it included offal which my daughter doesn't like. Overall, we ended up ordering individual items and enjoyed our meal. If you're not looking for all-you-can-eat meat, this place offers good value for money. Thank you for the meal!

We wanted to go to a yakiniku restaurant, but ended up going to Ajikoen nearby. We couldn't decide between all-you-can-eat or a la carte, but we chose all-you-can-eat to avoid worrying about the price. We ordered lots of salted cabbage and grilled vegetables. I'm worried about consuming too much salt. Speaking of vegetables, the salted onions are delicious. Please try ordering them. They are irresistible for onion lovers. The quality of the meat is also good even though it's all-you-can-eat, so we were satisfied. The restaurant is spacious and even when it's crowded, there is no sense of overcrowding, so we could eat comfortably.

A while back, I bought some groceries in Hidaka and wanted something to keep them cold on the way back, so I looked for something like ice at the Aeon store in Chitose right before heading home. I found something similar to rock ice that would serve the purpose practically - frozen Jingisukan from Ajinomoto. After using it as a cooling agent, I ended up enjoying it more than expected and even ordered more. I also ordered some hormone dishes, which were relatively cheap and delicious. Although North Cape is quite far, I found out that there is a store in Sapporo as well. The store had mostly young staff, and although there were some annoying moments, I decided to overlook it and enjoy my meal. While I got hooked on frozen Jingisukan, the store actually specializes in hormone dishes. Since I'm not a fan of offal, I only had a bit of hormone and mostly enjoyed the meat. The taste of the Jingisukan was different from the frozen one, as it had been marinated and had a different flavor. Late-night BBQ with a feeling of guilt. When it was time to pay, I noticed a small mistake. I contacted the head office later, and they handled it very well. Despite the initial annoyances and the mistake, the excellent response from the head office balanced things out. It might be more cost-effective to visit the restaurant with a group and opt for the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink option. Someone, please go to a BBQ restaurant with me!

Thick slices of meat that are not often seen even in butcher shops were lined up. The grill is a shichirin. Cheers with draft beer! This time, I had "pork hormone," "pork upper guts," "upper mino," "heart," "bean sprout namul," and "kimchi." Pork hormone... has a strong elasticity and a firm texture. The fat of the hormone is sweet and delicious. The salt is well seasoned, making it easy to drink with alcohol. It is delicious whether grilled until crispy or lightly cooked. It was really crowded tonight too! Here are the dishes we ordered: <Dishes> - Pork offal - Chicken konik (seseri) - Thick-cut beef tongue - Pork upper stomach - Beef uchihira - Kimchi - Salted cabbage <Drinks> - Draft beer - Lemon sour We started with the pork offal, which had a nice chewy texture and a sweet, delicious fat. It was well-seasoned with salt, making it a perfect match with beer. Next, we tried the chicken konik, also known as seseri. We started with a toast with beer. Here, they cook the meat properly on a charcoal grill, so the yakiniku is delicious. This time we chose lean cuts. The sagari and special tongue were delicious! We couldn't eat as much meat as we thought, so we switched to highballs in the second half. We also ordered hormone and beef tripe to finish off the meal. I visited a different restaurant for two consecutive days. This time, I tried the all-you-can-eat option for 4000 yen. The meat was for the all-you-can-eat option. The sweet potatoes and yam were delicious. The seaweed soup was also good. I also ordered a single item, which was today's ice cream with chestnut and vanilla flavors. I ordered sirloin, but it didn't have much of a sirloin taste. The staff, especially the manager, were very attentive. It was a great meal. ☺︎
