Yesterday I had fish, so today I'm in the mood for meat. I head to Susukino. The restaurant I wanted to go to was fully booked when I called, so I tried other places. Apologies, full. This happened five times! Starting to feel a bit anxious, our group, who doesn't like the smell of Genghis Khan, had limited options for meat. Should we give up on meat? Just when we were about to give up, I remembered this place! Taking a chance, we visited and found an empty seat! Nice! No time to hesitate! Let's go! The restaurant was clean and there were no touristy vibes, creating a calm atmosphere. I was hungry, so let's order! First, Yukhoe. And homemade kimchi. The drinking group ordered the single item all-you-can-drink for 1800 yen. Yukhoe was the typical type that has been common recently, which is safe and reliable. It was frozen, so we waited a bit. The kimchi was slightly sweet, with less acidity and plenty of garlic, and had a natural color. Tongue salt, harami, tripe, kalbi, liver, and hormone? It was nice that this place offered a half portion. I'm not a fan of hormone meat, so I got the half portion. I used to prefer eating with salt, but recently I've been thinking that sauce is good too depending on the meat. Wasabi goes well with meat that has a lot of fat. I thought this place would be expensive, but it wasn't that bad, and the meat was quite delicious. The fact that it didn't get smoky or oily was a big plus! If you have a small group, you can try different types of meat with the half portion. We found a hidden gem of a restaurant and had a pleasant meal. That was the experience of the group led by Yuran.
