I happened to stop by while out buying books. I ordered the soy milk tantanmen, pon de black sugar, and ice milk tea. The restaurant was empty since it was already night, so I enjoyed my meal while reading a book. The soy milk tantanmen was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much.

I visited the store around 15:30 on Sunday in December 2022. It was very crowded with many customers before and after me. I came to buy the limited edition Pokémon donuts. The Pokémon donuts were so cute, especially the Pikachu snowman and shiny Pikachu snowman. It almost feels like a waste to eat them because they look so adorable, but they tasted delicious! The donuts were soft and had whipped cream inside, which was perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The Pikachu snowman donut had custard cream inside, and the white chocolate and custard combination was amazing. I always find Mister Donut tasty, but the calories are so high that I can't eat it often, which is a bit sad.

I visited the Mister Donut Co-Chan-For Kushiro shop for the first time! It's right next to the public bath, so I stopped by after my bath. I originally planned to walk from the bath, but it turned out to be too far, so I drove there instead. The shop is located inside Co-Chan-For and it's very spacious, one of the largest in Hokkaido. I bought two donuts: Angel French for 151 yen including tax, and Custard Cream for 129 yen including tax. I'll have them for breakfast tomorrow. The Angel French is my favorite donut at Mister Donut, in my personal opinion. The cream inside is incredibly delicious, and the chocolate topping adds another layer of flavor. The Custard Cream has a creamy custard filling that is so tasty. It's been a while since I had Mister Donut, but it was still delicious. I'd like to have it again sometime soon. While I was writing this, I brought home some donuts and ended up eating them without taking a picture (゜ー゜) So disappointing. The only thing I did take a picture of was my daughter's pasta that she ate in the restaurant. It was the "Baby Scallop Cream Spaghetti." We don't usually eat shellfish at home, so I was worried if she would like it. But she enjoyed it and said, "The flavor is rich, but creamy. I think it's the scallop broth. I might like it." As for the donuts, I got three from the Uji Matcha series: "Pon de Uji Matcha," "Pon de Double Uji Matcha," and "Chocolat Pie." The Pon de Uji Matcha Chocolat Almond had a nice balance of the slight bitterness of matcha powder and the sweetness of chocolate. The crunch of the almonds added a nice texture. The Double Uji Matcha Milk Crunch had matcha in the dough and milk crunch with matcha chocolate. It was sweeter compared to the Chocolat Almond. The chewy matcha dough was delicious. The Chocolat Pie had a crispy cocoa pie crust, and the cream inside was tasty. I would love to try more flavors, like Tiramisu, next time. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I was alone in Kushiro. When I got out of the bath, there was a Mister Donut next door. I was thirsty and thought about grabbing a coffee at a cafe. I ended up at Mister Donut, even though I don't usually eat there. They were promoting "potato soup" on the sign outside, which I like. I looked for it on the menu but couldn't find it. When I asked the staff about it, they seemed confused. Eventually, I settled for the chowder. It was microwaved and not very good, with cheap scallops and small pieces of potato. The service was good, though. It was just a snack before I go eat ramen. The place was empty, but two families sat right next to me. I decided to leave and go find a bakery instead.

With Christmas approaching next month, this year there was a collaboration with Pokémon for limited edition goods, but the Pokémon balls were sold out and not available in the case, so I couldn't buy them (ノД`). Occasionally, we decided to have coffee here, so we went to the eat-in space again with my son. We ordered "Soup Soba," "Golden Chocolate," and "Almond Crunch Coffee." The soup soba was delicious as always, but the noodles were just regular noodles, my son pointed out. The almond crunch coffee was good, but without the almond, it would be just regular coffee, he commented. It's been a while since I had blend coffee, and I appreciated the sweetness, bitterness, and slight acidity that complemented the donuts. There were a lot of students there, and it was convenient to stop by. Thank you for the meal.

Located near Lake Akan in Kushiro, there is a huge complex bookstore called Coachanfo Kushiro store, which houses a Mister Donut shop inside. Coachanfo originally started as a company that expanded from a Mister Donut franchise, so it has a long history with Mister Donut since the early days. The Mister Donut shop itself is also large, and it's nice that there is a smoking booth available. It's a convenient place to take a break after exploring the spacious bookstore. I ordered coffee and donuts that you can refill.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2014, after finishing an aromatherapy workshop in Kushiro, I stopped by here to read a book and ended up having dim sum set. I have had Mister Donut's dim sum set a few times before, and I like that the noodles are thin and easy to eat. This time, I had a dim sum set with 3 items, oolong tea, and shrimp noodle soup. I thought I might have ordered too much, but I managed to finish everything! The restaurant was filled with students and groups of women. It's nice to be able to stop by casually. "What to eat?" Couldn't decide with my partner, so we went to the nearby Mister Donut! They have noodles and stuff too! Tried it on and it was just average! The taste was normal, but the dipping sauce for the dipping noodles was too strong! It was so strong that I wanted to dilute it! So, it was neither good nor bad, just okay. However, the donuts and pies were delicious! I realized once again at Mister Donut after a long time that I just have to eat donuts (laughs).

Introducing "Mister Donut" located in the Cochanfor shopping mall. The donuts are delicious just like any other Mister Donut store. The staff often recommend refills for coffee or cafe au lait, which is great service. However, since Cochanfor is known for its many specialty bookstores and it's close to high schools and vocational schools, in the evenings most customers are studying. It can feel a bit awkward to chat with friends while eating donuts in such a studious atmosphere! 😄

In the Coachanfora store, there is a large Mister Donut with plenty of tables, making it one of the biggest in Kushiro. It is always full of students, probably because of the nearby high schools and universities. The variety of donuts is extensive, and I always end up ordering more than I need. They seem to be focusing on the "Pon-de-ring" series lately, with a wide range of options that can be overwhelming. Also, they offer unlimited coffee refills, which is a staple. Bringing a book to read guarantees a long stay. While larger bookstores with cafes are common in places like Sapporo, they are not as common in Eastern Hokkaido. Whether for takeout, chatting with friends over donuts, or quietly immersing yourself in a book, this is a classic donut shop.
