Niku Kaku is famous but I've never been there before, so my family and I decided to visit for the first time. We ordered the Toro Kalbi & Pork Kalbi set (250g) for 1,529 yen, the Niku Kaku Kalbi set (150g) for 1,309 yen, the Upper Harami set (100g) for 1,089 yen, and almond jelly for 110 yen. They only have lunch service in my area (previously only on weekends and holidays, but it seems they are not currently offering it). Reservations are not accepted for lunch. There is a shared parking lot under the store with a roof, so it's safe even on snowy or sunny days. There are stairs, so it's not barrier-free. The lunch is all-you-can-eat and they offer three main menu items where you can choose the grams, which is convenient. We shared the set meals among three people and had a charcoal grill set up. The Niku Kaku Kalbi is thick and chewy, easy to cook because it's thin. Rice refills are free and the sauce is sweet. The almond jelly has a perfect softness with pineapple for only 100 yen, which is cheap. There is no smoking room, so they ask you to smoke outside. There is a counter, so it's easy to go alone as well. Thank you for the meal. Official website: ==========

I received a flyer with discounts and decided to visit the restaurant after many years. Today, I am happy to have my daughter with me. We came to Sapporo to apply for her passport. I suggested having yakiniku at home, but my wife rejected the idea. Despite the discounts, we ended up ordering the "Celebration 5 Variety Platter," which didn't make much of a difference in the total bill. I barely ate any meat, just a little bit of harami which was delicious. The quality of the meat was good, especially the upper harami. We also had some Yukkejang soup, which was decent but a bit on the sweet side. Both my high school son and meat-loving university daughter ate a lot, so I think they still wanted more. In the end, it was a good meal, but I think having yakiniku at home would have been better. Thank you for the meal!

My daughter's favorite? When I asked her what she wanted to do at night, she said she wanted to go to "Yakiniku Gyukaku," so we decided to go. Of course, one of the reasons is that we can use the coupons on Tabelog. Today, the seat was a bit smaller than last time, but it was not a problem. The meat we ordered kept coming, and it cooked quickly so we could focus on eating. My wife and daughter had rice with only kalbi, and I had cold noodles. We ate until we were full. And with the coupon, we got a discount, so it was a great deal.

During Golden Week, it's understandable but before entering the store, they ask you to leave within 2 hours. The location is right after Nopporo Post Office on Route 12. It's easy to find if you search for Nopporo Co-op on your navigation. The dining area is on the second floor and the menu is similar to other Gyu-Kaku locations. A few things to note:
- The kitchen scissors for cutting the kalbi were not sharp at all.
- Some of the staff spoke too softly and it was hard to understand them.
- When bringing out the meat, there was no explanation given. Not everyone knows what to do, so it would be nice if the staff put in a bit more effort in providing service.

The cost performance is good, so I came back again. The price per dish hasn't changed, but I feel like the portion size has decreased slightly, but it could just be my imagination. My daughter and wife chose the meat and ordered one after another, grilling and eating them. I ordered Yukgaejang gukpa to fill my stomach. With the coupon from Tabelog, the two beers I drank became free.

Today's takeout, I got the Stamina for my son! - Beef Kalbi Yakiniku Bento 800 yen
When you just see the name, you can't imagine it, but it's a Kalbi rice bowl. The Kalbi marinated in a sweet and savory sauce is placed on top of rice with seaweed in between. It tasted a bit strong, but quite delicious. It came with Kochujang, but I didn't feel the need for it. The meat at this price point is probably imported meat, thin and fatty, but it's fine for a rice bowl. It feels like the portion is a bit small. I think I could eat two of these myself! Haha. Thank you for the meal (^o^)

On a regular day, my family of three went out to eat yakiniku. Even though there was an all-you-can-eat option, my wife and daughter preferred to order individual dishes, so we didn't go for the all-you-can-eat. My daughter chose the meats to order, and they were all delicious. I ordered a large portion of rice, and I finished it all in no time. I also had two mugs of beer, but since it was a weekday, I held back a bit. With a 10% discount coupon, it might have been slightly cheaper than the all-you-can-eat option. It was a good choice. The fact that they brought out our order quickly using a tablet was also great.

I went without a reservation on a regular day, around 7 pm. It was quite crowded, but I was seated after about a 10-minute wait. The food was reliably delicious. I let my daughter and wife order, while I enjoyed two beers and had a great time.
