"BENTOSS (Bentos)" is a mid-sized bento chain operated by Aichi Foods. They also operate franchises, and in the Do-nan area, they have stores under the brand "Jinbei". Their direct stores are combined with a restaurant called "Teishokuya Jinbei", and the Fukuzumi store is set up in the same building with the bento store and the restaurant. The popular item I tried this time was the "Furano wine-marinated steak bento (780 yen)", made with beef marinated in Furano wine and cooked steak-style. They offer variations like the "steak on rice" and a separate "steak bento", as well as the "steak makunouchi". The reasonably priced steak bento comes with fried potatoes, broccoli, and pickled ginger. The portion may seem small at first glance, but it has a decent amount of rice and meat, with the option to double the meat for an additional fee. The lean meat is tender, though it's hard to pinpoint the exact cut. Overall, the satisfaction level matches the price, and the thick-cut steak gives a fulfilling meaty experience, explaining its popularity. "Sapporo Zangi" is also a highlight at BENTOSS & Jinbei, and their steak bento is of high quality compared to other bento chain stores.

I used to live in Fukuju, so when I came home late, I would sometimes rely on Bento for dinner. They have a wide variety of menu options, and their meat dishes are delicious. I especially loved the steak bento made with Furano wine. However, this time I decided to try the Tokachi Wagyu steak donburi, which was more casual but still very tasty. The meat was flavorful and delicious. The salad was also full of ingredients and had a satisfying taste. Although I don't have a photo, they also offer bento options for kids to choose from, which is great. While I didn't order it this time, they also have a special focus on "zangi" and "karaage" dishes. We always order the zangi, which is delicious. With the closure of Bentotei, I won't be able to visit anymore, but if you're buying bento in Sapporo, I highly recommend Bento. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After having lunch, I visited Bento-san for the first time to buy dinner. I tried the Sapporo & Tokachi Kiyomizu Black Mix Zangi Bento for 550 yen. I checked the menu on their website and saw they have Mega size and Healthy series, but I was drawn to the Furano wine-marinated steak. However, I ended up choosing the black Zangi, which is made with the famous Tokachi Kiyomizu black garlic. According to my Google search, this product is a collaboration with JA Tokachi Kiyomizu Town and is made with aged black garlic from Tokachi, which has a very healthy and mellow taste similar to prunes. The Zangi was large, sticking out of the rice zone, crispy on the outside, and chewy. The rice was soft, and the boiled egg was the most delicious part. It was a delicious meal.

Mr. Bentos is close to my house, so I use it occasionally. This time, I wanted to eat vegetables, so I ordered the Seafood Fry Plate with Vegetables and my wife ordered the Deluxe Pork Cutlet Bento. There were about 5 customers ahead of us, so it took a little time, but the food was still served quickly. When we got home, we enjoyed the freshly made food. It contained white fish, shrimp, calamari rings, and cream croquette. There were also vegetables such as asparagus, cabbage, and lotus root, so it was very satisfying. I wanted to eat vegetables, so I was happy with this bento.

This is a bento shop located along Hitsuji-ga-oka Street in September 2016. Inside the shop, there are sample bentos displayed, making it easy to choose. They offer a variety of options at reasonable prices. This time, I purchased a seaweed bento. It contained white fish fry, chikuwa, and pumpkin tempura. The white fish fry had a thick batter and tasted a bit burnt. I didn't pay much attention to the sample menu and ended up disappointed with the chikuwa and pumpkin as side dishes. The rice was delicious though. It would be great if the seaweed in the bento was tastier. Thank you for the meal. ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.

▼Location▼ Located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Hitsuji-ga-oka Street and Fukuzumi Chuo Street. ▼About the Shop▼ Bento Honpo is a chain of about 25 stores mainly in Sapporo, Hokkaido, with other locations such as Jinbei and Jinbei in Hakodate being part of the same group. They also have 2 stores overseas. They are a bento shop that focuses on in-house cooking and food safety. ▼Menu▼ They offer a variety of bento boxes, from basic dishes to limited-time items, with a focus on healthy options with plenty of vegetables. For more details, please refer to their website. ▼Food Ordered▼ ▽Chicken Karaage Bento 550 yen A simple karaage (fried chicken) bento with a generous serving of salad. The karaage is made with juicy thigh meat and has a subtly seasoned flavor. The addition of corn, mizuna, cabbage, and salad adds to the overall positive impression. ▼Impressions▼ Bento Honpo is a popular local bento chain in Hokkaido that emphasizes food safety and quality. They offer a wide range of bento boxes, including meat, fish, and healthy options. While the portion size may seem smaller and slightly more expensive compared to other competitors, the quality of the ingredients and the inclusion of salad make it worth it. Overall, it's a bento box that offers a safe, tasty, and satisfying meal. I look forward to trying more of their bento options in the future.

In the morning, I accompanied my family on errands all over the place, and usually I would go eat ramen alone for lunch, but today I wanted to watch Kei Nishikori's tennis match so I bought a bento box from Bentosan. Bentosan has become quite a longstanding establishment, located on the Sheep Hill Street, just after the intersection with Fukuzumi Kuoen Street if you are driving from Kiyota towards Hiragishi. It's a common bento shop attached to a typical Japanese meal restaurant. The staff's customer service at this place is quite impressive. This time I thought of Bentosan because there was a 100 yen discount coupon for purchases over 500 yen in this morning's flyer, which I promptly cut out and put in my wallet. The shop seems to be focusing on serving katsudon this season, but I opted for a rosu katsu bento this time as I had a bad experience with soggy katsu from a takeout place recently. Back home, I found the rice to be cooked quite firm, which I like, and the katsu to have a crunchy, hard coating. The meat lacked flavor, though. The side dishes included salad, baby corn, carrots, and potato fries, with spaghetti underneath the katsu. Overall, Bentosan's bento was decent but seemed to have lost some of its edge compared to other bento chains. Nevertheless, I still feel like I wouldn't go to another chain when buying bento for home. By the way, as soon as I got home and lay down on the couch to watch the tennis match, I fell asleep before the game even started. Good meal!

I was attracted by the sign saying "Delicious soba" and decided to try it out. It seems that Jinbei next door serves the same dishes. I had the "Grated radish soba and teriyaki chicken rice bowl" for 550 yen. The soba is indeed delicious. It's freshly made, so it doesn't have that dry texture and tastes great. The teriyaki chicken rice bowl is flavorful and suits my taste. The salad and rolled omelette that come with it make the price seem reasonable. Next time, I want to try the soba at Jinbei. They have a wide variety of menu options. The "Grated radish soba and shrimp tempura rice bowl" for 570 yen has plump shrimp and a good flavor. The soba is delicious, but the container for the dipping sauce is not sealed properly, causing it to spill. They should consider making some improvements. The "Grated radish soba and pork rice bowl" for 570 yen has tasty pork!! The sauce is well-seasoned and even flavors the rice, making the pork rice bowl a satisfying meal on its own. The wine-marinated steak rice bowl for 680 yen is not as expected, probably Australian beef. It has a slight unusual taste. The young chicken with salted green onions rice bowl for 560 yen is lightly seasoned, and the meat is tender. Sometimes, there are oversights like forgetting to add dressing or unnecessary soy sauce. The service is a bit rough. The pork chop rice bowl, priced at 580 yen, is different from the photo, with thinly sliced meat instead of a whole piece, but the ketchup-flavored meat is tasty. The shrimp tempura on the side is flavorful even without sauce. The omelette rice bowl for 550 yen is just a regular omelette rice. It comes with a vegetable salad, making it a healthy option. The balanced rice bowl with brown rice for 500 yen is topped with pickled vegetables. It was quite tasty, with decent salmon and eggs seasoned with broth. The grilled meat and salad were good, and the dried daikon radish, pickles, and pumpkin tempura were thick and satisfying. It's a reasonable price for a variety of side dishes. They seem to be quite popular. The cheese hamburger omelette rice bowl for 690 yen has sausage that tastes like kalpas, which I like. The soba rice bowl is a seasonal item and not available in autumn. On February 29, 2012, I had the Tandoori chicken rice bowl for 530 yen. The turmeric rice is slightly spicy and delicious. The chicken is lightly seasoned. The bean salad is unique and tasty! The potato salad is also good. The only downside is that the menu photo makes it appear as if there is a whole sausage, but it's actually half. But considering the price, it's acceptable. The crab rice bowl is priced at 520 yen. On March 24, I had the large serving of Tandoori chicken rice bowl for 580 yen. I realized that eating the same dish repeatedly can get boring. It was delicious, but having it repeatedly felt underwhelming. The boiled egg was not seasoned, so I had to add salt. The chicken was bland, so I added salt to it as well. Since it's a rice bowl, I think they should have seasoned it or provided salt for those eating outside without condiments. On April 29, I had the Escalope rice bowl for 550 yen. The escalope with demi-glace sauce was delicious. It paired well with butter rice. The bean salad was good, and the potato salad with vegetables made it healthier than convenience store rice bowls. I should have ordered the large serving. On July 23, 2012, I had the cold ramen with char siu salad rice bowl. The cold ramen was delicious, but the noodles clumped together, making it difficult to eat. It would have been better if they were separated. The char siu salad was tasty, but there was not enough char siu. The rolled omelette was delicious. On February 16, 2013, I was surprised by the young chicken with salted green onions rice bowl for 560 yen. The chicken and green onion stir-fry lacked flavor!! Did they forget to season it with salt and pepper? It's an unacceptable mistake!! There was a menu introduction with cute staff photos, but I wish they focused more on the professionalism of the chefs. ...However, the other dishes are delicious. On February 17, 2013, I had the gourmet rice bowl with 15 items. The minced chicken was delicious. The variety of side dishes was good. The grilled meat in the balanced rice bowl was salty and flavorful.

I saw grilled fish on TV and felt like eating it. Surprisingly, there was no grilled fish bento available, so I chose the mackerel miso bento. The rice portion was quite large... I forgot to take a picture, but I also had a large serving of pork miso soup for 290 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I saw this shop on my way back from an outing and decided to buy a bento for dinner. The shop had a variety of bento options displayed, making it hard to choose. The staff mentioned to ring a bell when ready to order. I finally decided on the "Mega Ginger Pork Bento" which came with a side salad. The ginger pork was delicious with a nice ginger flavor. The bento also included a large tempura chikuwa, fried egg, sausage, croquette, and spaghetti. Although the portion was a bit small for a "Mega" bento, the taste was satisfying for the price. I also noticed a seasonal menu item that I want to try next time. Overall, a great meal from the shop. Thank you, Fukuzumi Store!

The volume and quality exceeded my expectations. The interior space of the restaurant is also wonderful. If it were near my house, I would definitely be a repeat customer.
