When it gets hot, the symptoms of this designated rare disease worsen, especially in December with increased heating in hospitals and commercial facilities. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits me yet. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you for your understanding. This is the 7th review for January 2020, focusing on a take-out specialty shop called Ginza Enishi, known for its yakitori. They are affiliated with the "Japan's Best Yakitori" chain, which has outlets in major supermarkets and commercial facilities like AEON. They use domestic chicken and offer reasonably priced yakitori. Our favorite is the "Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store Limited Edition" at Ginza Enishi. We were able to get the limited edition "Yakitori Lucky Bag" which contained 12 pieces of sauce and salt skewers for 1,080 yen (tax included). It felt like a good deal with only 20 bags available. The details of the price are unclear, but it seems to be a good value. However, our favorite Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store Limited Edition chicken liver skewer was not included in the lucky bag. This particular yakitori from Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store is clearly top-notch even among take-out specialty shops. Personally, I think it's the best. It has a sense of quality that you can't find in the "Japan's Best Yakitori" chain. Although limited to 20 bags, I was happy to be able to get it. Next time, I might go for the usual Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store Limited Edition yakitori. It was delicious, thank you for the treat.

Welcome. ---------- December 2019 ---------- High-end skewer restaurant "Unakushi" They grill instead of steaming, so the fat is incredibly delicious. The melting meat and the melted fat, combined with the sweet and strong sauce, make it better than alcohol. Grilled chicken is delicious too, but this place is definitely all about the eel skewers.

Today is hair salon day. I changed my hairstyle from long to semi-long last time, but this time I went for a bob cut. Feeling refreshed! After 3 hours of cut, color, and treatment, I was so thirsty. I couldn't drink beer, but I really wanted to! So I bought non-alcoholic beer and some snacks to enjoy at home. I went to Mitsukoshi and decided on yakitori for lunch at Ginza En. It was my first time trying it. There were 3 groups in front of me, so I looked at the showcase while waiting in line, trying to decide what to order. In the end, I chose chicken skin, liver, young chicken, thigh skewers in sauce, chicken wings, cartilage, and gizzard in salt. I was so eager to drink beer that I forgot to take a picture before digging in (laughs). The chicken skin was chewy, lacking that crispy texture. The liver was hard on the outside but somewhat tender inside. The young chicken was tender, the thigh skewers were average. I like gizzard, so I found it delicious. The chicken wings were okay, and the cartilage was slightly spicy. The seasoning was mild, which was nice. The sauce was already on the yakitori, but they also provided a packet of sauce. If you prefer a stronger flavor, you can add more sauce. The takeaway yakitori I've had before was too salty, so I appreciated the mild seasoning. The non-alcoholic beer paired well with the yakitori. It was a satisfying meal.

On a certain holiday, I stopped by a yakitori shop in the food section of Mitsukoshi department store during my walk. The shop's name includes "Ginza," which is not commonly seen in the Sapporo area, so I was excited to try their yakitori. From the menu that day, I chose a few items from the showcase, considering the balance of sauce and salt. The "Chicken Skin (104 yen tax included)" was soft and chewy with a mild saltiness, which was good. The "Salted Hinadori Skewer (104 yen tax included)" had a tender texture and a light saltiness that brought out the flavor of the Hinadori chicken. The "Tsukune Skewer with Sauce (98 yen tax included)" had a flavorful tsukune with a sweet sauce coating, making it a delicious choice. The "Pork and Green Onion Skewer (138 yen tax included)" had a bouncy texture and a sweet sauce coating, with a hint of spiciness from the green onions. The "Shiretoko Chicken Karaage (519 yen tax included)" consisted of 6 pieces of karaage in a bento size, with a mysterious flavor of Shiretoko chicken and a slightly salty taste, maybe from soy sauce. After eating a lot of chicken steak later on, I feel like I don't need to eat chicken for a while. Shopping should be done with planning... Thank you for the meal.

In October 2018, I visited Ginza En, a specialty store for take-out yakitori. It is part of the "Yakitori Nippon Ichi" chain of stores, known for their affordable yakitori. Ginza En is the upscale brand of Yakitori Nippon Ichi, mainly found in department stores. They use domestically sourced chicken for their dishes. My favorite and my usual companion's favorite is the "Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store Limited Edition" yakitori. It had not been available in the store for a while, but we were happy to see it back and decided to buy it. We also bought their classic dish, the "Liver in Wine Sauce." The limited edition yakitori made with Shiretoko chicken liver was delicious and reasonably priced. The Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store Limited Edition Shiretoko chicken thigh and scallion skewer was also top-notch, with tender meat and a strong umami flavor. The Liver in Wine Sauce was soft and rich in flavor, perfect to pair with beer or wine. These dishes were of exceptional quality and surpassed the regular offerings at Yakitori Nippon Ichi. They had a luxurious touch that is characteristic of Mitsukoshi. I will definitely be ordering these two yakitori dishes again next time. Delicious, thank you for the meal.

For dinner in September 2019, I thought about having some beer snacks, so I bought four bottles - two with sauce and two with salt. They looked small but were plump and delicious. Even though it was takeout, the yakitori was delicious! The sauce was separate, so I put the yakitori in a small bowl, poured the sauce over it, and it transformed into a "yakitori rice bowl." It was a bit pricey, but the takeout yakitori was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

After a break of about four years, during which I was in and out of the hospital, there have been various system changes on Tabelog. The way reviews are done now seems unclear compared to before. This is my fifth review since 2018, so I'll keep it brief. Ginza Enishi is a specialty store for takeout yakitori. It is part of the "Yakitori Nipponichi" chain, which has outlets in major supermarkets and commercial facilities like AEON. They offer reasonably priced yakitori made with domestic chicken. Ginza Enishi is the high-end brand of "Yakitori Nipponichi" specifically for department stores. Our favorite items are the "Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store Limited Edition" ones. These include the Shiretoko Chicken Liver Skewer and the Shiretoko Chicken Thigh and Green Onion Skewer. Both are of excellent quality and taste great when taken out. The staff at Mitsukoshi store are always friendly and welcoming. It was nice to see them again after so long. I will definitely be going back to buy more of these delicious yakitori. Today I went to Mitsukoshi. Since it's the end of the year, I thought it would be crowded, but it wasn't as busy as I expected. There were some people trying to attract customers, but not as much as in Maru○. I bought some yakitori. I thought "en" in "enishi" was unrelated to "flame," but they are pronounced the same, right? When I got home and looked at the packaging, it said "Ginza," so it has nothing to do with Bibai. I purchased "momonegi," "tebasaki," "butakushi," and "torikawakushi." The customer service was good, even for elderly customers. The staff were very friendly. When I got home, I reheated them in the oven. I started with the "torikawa," which was okay. There were no complaints, but I felt a bit uneasy about the ingredients. Next was the "momonegi." The leeks were average, and the seasoning was light, which was fine. The problem was the quality of the ingredients. It lacked juiciness. Is it from Brazil? I won't apologize even if it's wrong. The "butakushi" was worse than the chicken. They should use better quality ingredients. The "tebasaki" was average. The "en" in Ginza completely defeated the "en" in Bibai.

On December 24, 2015, I went shopping at Mitsukoshi. It was crowded everywhere that sells chicken. There were partitions at the entrance and exit to prevent people from cutting in line. I lined up to buy half-fried chicken and an Xmas set. When it was my turn, the inexperienced staff asked what I would like. I requested the half-fried chicken, but when I tried to pick up the Xmas set with chicken and potatoes, an older lady behind me already had it in her hand. I had to give up on the Xmas set because it was the last one. Then, a smaller elderly lady behind the older lady skipped ahead of me and went to pay. The inexperienced staff didn't say anything. It was a bit frustrating. The half-fried chicken was delicious though. I found a cheaper store recently, so anything over 1000 yen seems expensive now. I'll continue my search for good chicken at other stores. Thank you for the meal.

It's delicious with the flavor of Hokkaido chicken. Price: 168 yen each. It's recommended over the regular "Chicken Thigh with Green Onions." It goes well with beer and sake. ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【1st Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆ The "Shiretoko Chicken Liver" has a good taste. Ginza En is a takeout specialist for yakitori and eel! 【January 2013】 Ginza En specializes in takeout yakitori and eel. It's a part of the Nippon-ichi group, known for affordable yakitori. Ginza En is the high-end brand for department stores. They use domestic chicken. The store is located in the central area of Sapporo, Hokkaido, on the first basement floor of Mitsukoshi Sapporo Main Store. For more details, check on Tabelog. In January 2015, I was at a department store called Mitsukoshi where there was an event at the sales floor. After shopping, I bought some yakitori as a souvenir for my son. I only eat salt yakitori, so I bought a few pieces each of chicken thigh, gizzard, negima (chicken and scallion skewers), and skin. When I got home, I put them on a plate, took a photo, and waited for my son to come home. He arrived late because of his cram school, so I ended up eating some pieces first. I don't eat chicken skin, so he had those. The salt sauce that came with the yakitori was sweet and salty, which I really liked. The gizzard was also very delicious. I'm not sure if the sauce was a bit on the salty side. The chicken thighs were tender and juicy, with no unpleasant smell. It was hard to stop eating after just one piece, and even my dog wanted some. My son came home and saw the yakitori, saying, "You only ate the skins!" It was really tasty!

In the basement of Sapporo's Mitsukoshi department store, there is a takeout yakitori shop. According to the staff, a few years ago they used to offer eel as well, but nowadays they only serve yakitori, including in the summer. It seems that the cost of eel has become too high for it to be profitable. There are no plans to offer eel in the future. The "Shiretoko chicken liver" for 158 yen is apparently the most popular item. It has a rich and creamy chicken liver flavor with a good texture, and the sauce complements the liver flavor well. It would go well with beer or other drinks. The "tsukune" for 105 yen, without any indication of origin, is the second most popular item. The sauce has a glossy finish and is mild, suitable for everyone. The "Shiretoko chicken thigh with leeks" for 168 yen uses locally sourced chicken meat. Despite being reheated, the meat fibers are not too tough and have a good umami flavor. The leeks also retain their deliciousness. The "pork skewer" for 137 yen uses pork from Denmark and is the third most popular item. In Hokkaido, pork is also a member of the yakitori family. This is a takeout specialty store located in the Mitsukoshi basement. It is said to have originated in Ginza, Tokyo. There were various types of yakitori available, but one that caught my attention was the chicken garlic thigh, where garlic and thigh meat were alternately skewered, creating a delicious combination of the garlicky aroma and the tenderness of the meat. The chicken skin was crispy and the pork was sweet and tender. They also offer different sauces and grill the skewers on the spot, so you can enjoy them freshly cooked. It's great that you can buy just one skewer. It seems like they are the number one yakitori group in Japan.

When it gets hot, my symptoms worsen, as I have a designated rare disease by the government. There is still no cure for my rare disease. Temporary improvement in symptoms can be achieved by administering "blood products" for 5 consecutive days, but there must be several weeks between doses. Additionally, receiving the COVID vaccine or any other vaccine is not allowed for a month after receiving the "blood products." I was hospitalized five times last year for treatment related to my rare disease. I had my first hospitalization of 2022 in January, but I was discharged safely 23 days ago. Your supportive comments are always a source of encouragement for me during my hospital stays. I am truly grateful for your support. Moving forward, I plan to focus on reviewing past unreviewed content. I will limit new visits based on my health condition. For my 8th review, I visited "Ginza En - Mitsukoshi Sapporo," a specialized takeout yakitori shop. "Ginza En" is a high-end brand affiliated with "Yakitori Nipponichi," known as the best yakitori in Japan, with outlets in major supermarkets and commercial facilities like AEON. They use chicken from Hokkaido, and there are many exclusive yakitori items at Mitsukoshi Sapporo. One of our favorites is the "Mitsukoshi Sapporo exclusive" yakitori. I had tried to buy the "Wine-Soaked Liver" several times since the beginning of the year, but it was always sold out early. This time, I finally got it. The Wine-Soaked Liver is reasonably tender with a moderately rich flavor, similar to the yakitori sauce. The 100g pack with kumquats costs 195 yen, and the 204g pack costs 389 yen (tax included). It pairs well with beer or wine. This time, the quality seemed to be the best, more so than the usual "Ginza En quality." It felt like it lacked a bit of simmered flavor, but it was still quite tasty. This Mitsukoshi Sapporo exclusive yakitori shop is clearly one of the top takeout shops, and personally, I think it's the best. It offers yakitori that you can't find at the "Yakitori Nipponichi" chain. It exudes the high-quality feel typical of Mitsukoshi. I rated it 3.8 stars, slightly lower than my usual 4.0 stars. I might go for the usual "Mitsukoshi Sapporo exclusive yakitori" next time. It was delicious, thank you.

I like the garlic-stuffed ones from this shop. Last time I went to buy, the garlic-stuffed ones were sold out. Today, they were selling them so I bought 5. I also bought skin and cartilage with salt, and liver with sauce. I love the taste.

Today my wife had a day off and went to a railway-related meeting in Sapporo. She will be coming back on JR to Kitahiroshima, so I will go pick her up. We haven't had dinner yet, but my wife brought back a souvenir for me, which I will have now! It was eel from Ginza En Sapporo Mitsukoshi store. She bought a domestically produced eel, which was almost 3,000 yen even though it was small! I'm not a big fan of eel, but it was very thoughtful of her to buy it. There were instructions on how to warm it up, so I will heat it in the microwave. Let's try it now! The meat is tender with a nice texture. The fat is not too strong, and it has a refreshing taste. It's really delicious... I'm not sure if it's because it's domestically produced, but it's easy to eat and has a solid eel flavor. The sansho pepper is a nice touch. The sauce is sweet but light, which is also good. My wife tried a bite, but I ended up eating most of it. Eel is just so delicious!! I feel happy to be able to enjoy such delicious food. I hope to continue this luxurious lifestyle forever haha. Thank you for the delicious eel! It was a feast!
