This is a teppanyaki restaurant located on the 9th floor of the Hakodate Kokusai Hotel Annex. There are regular table seats as well as a teppanyaki corner at the back with a counter seating for 8 people. Reservations are required. While it may not offer a million-dollar night view, the restaurant provides a lovely space with a view of Hakodate Port. I ordered the steak course (9500 yen). After appetizers and salad, the highlight was the steak, made with beef from Iwate. You can choose between fillet or sirloin, but I wanted to try both so I shared with my companion. The steak, about 150g, had a nice marbling and was served with wasabi sauce and grated radish sauce. In between the fillet and sirloin, a vegetable stir-fry cooked on the same teppan was served. For the finale, garlic rice was served in a bowl with miso soup and pickles. Dessert and coffee were enjoyed at a bar with a view of Hakodate's cityscape. While the quality of the food may justify the higher price, considering the night view, atmosphere, and service, the price seems reasonable. It's a great spot for a date night.

The foie gras sauté and delicious abalone sauté were incredibly delicious when eaten together with the liver. The white old cow's Chateaubriand course priced at 20400 yen on November 16, 2020 was superb.
