The beer here is seriously amazing!! Check out the menu I posted earlier for reference. This time, I came with two of my drinking buddies. We ordered the seafood soup curry as our final dish, and even though it's the same price, we went for the luxurious seafood version that you don't find at other places. It was packed with so many ingredients! I chose my preferred level of spiciness, and it was just perfect. The soup had a hint of sweetness, probably from the seafood. The shrimp and squid basil stir-fry was different from what I expected - it had a strong soup flavor, almost like a seafood ajillo. It was incredibly delicious! The baguette that came with it was dangerously good, almost a snack on its own. You have to try the herb chicken roast with the sauce, it's so tasty. The meat was tender and the asparagus sauté was spot on. The lunch menu is great, but I highly recommend the grand menu as well. You can even have a day drinking session here with the all-you-can-drink option!

I was recommended by someone I am grateful to during the preparation for my shop, so I went to have lunch with my neighbor at a restaurant just a 1-minute walk from Susukino Station. I had the nostalgic Napoletana set, and the soup that came with it was delicious. It was self-service and all-you-can-drink, so I ended up wanting to drink as much beer as I could. My dad had the soup curry, which was spicy and tasty. I thought I had already tried most of the major soup curry restaurants, but there are still delicious places I don't know about!

Still, the time when I have to stay non-alcoholic... Actually, I went to the front of the restaurant several times, but hesitated because it said "bar", so I turned back... I wonder if it's different from Rafila this time??? But I really wanted to go in, so one day, I opened the door with determination and asked, "Is it okay if I just have the soup curry?" and they kindly said OK!!! Jazzy BGM, wine red tablecloths, wine bottles lined up on the wall, plenty of glasses on the counter, six 4-person tables lined up, 5 counter seats... There seem to be 2 private rooms, it's a solid dining bar, I'm sorry... Soup curry, vegetables, spiciness goes up to 4 levels, I chose level 4. They also provided tissues with the dish, very kind♡ The soup is plentiful!!!! Vegetables include 2 potatoes, a lot of broccoli, some pumpkin, a little asparagus, a little tomato. Although it may have fewer varieties than Hokkaido soup curry, it's full of ingredients!!! It's moderately spicy. Sometimes even when you eat spicier food, you don't sweat, but this one made me sweat. There was a regular customer who ordered without potatoes or rice, and since I was alone and non-alcoholic, I felt relieved. They also have red wine stew, duck roast, and snacks, so I thought it was a place to drink while eating, but they also have a wide variety of pasta and pizza! Smoothies and desserts also looked delicious. I wanted to try them, but I was too full. When I made eye contact with the beautiful female staff, she smiled at me. I was embarrassed because I was eating with my mouth wide open without a mask (・.・;) Whether it's in front of Rafila, at Rafila, or here, I was relieved that they always welcomed me with a smile. I visited a restaurant located in the basement of a building along Tsudori in the Susukino area. I heard that a restaurant that used to be in the Rafila dining district had reopened, so I decided to drop by for lunch. The restaurant operates as a Western-style eatery during lunchtime, although it may turn into a bar at night. The interior was calm and cozy, with counter seats, table seats, and even private rooms available. Since not many people seem to know that they serve lunch, it wasn't too crowded when I visited. The lunch menu included curry, soup curry, baked curry, pasta, pizza, steak, and more. I ordered the "Soup Chicken (1,100 yen)" with a spice level of 4. The lunch set came with soup and a soft drink, making it a good deal. The dish was ready in about 8 minutes. The soup had a good balance of flavor and spiciness, although level 4 was a bit too spicy for me. The chicken was cut into pieces rather than a leg, but the meat was tender and tasty. Overall, I found the soup curry to be delicious, but I think I prefer the roux type here, so I would like to revisit soon to try it.

Welcome. ---------- July 2020 ----------Located at 3-3 Minami 3 Nishi 3, underground of the Komei Building along the Miyako-dori, in the back. From the closed Rafila 8th floor, we have moved here. It used to be called Balton, right? There was a very friendly master and mama here. They have tables, private rooms, and a counter. Lunch is from 11:30 to 15:00, brunch from 15:00 to 17:00, and dinner from 17:00 to 23:30. Lunch comes with soup and a drink set, and for an additional 300 yen, you can add alcohol. The soup is self-service. The egg soup has a strong sweetness, with a chicken flavor. I chose the spicy level 2 chicken soup, which was packed with basil and watercress at the beginning, followed by the light broth umami, onion sweetness, and spicy kick. The soup is thin but has a thick oil film, yet it remains smooth until the end, keeping the heat. There is a generous amount of boneless, tender chicken thigh, fried eggplants soaking in the soup, and tender fried burdock root. There is also sweet, creamy pumpkin, tangy tomato acidity, and sweet, fluffy potatoes. Overall, it's a cozy spot with many regulars, located in a somewhat niche area.

Garam-san, located on the upper floor of Rafira, was visited to show support to a friend about a week after its opening. At that time, there was no Tabelog page yet. The main dish was soup curry. Since then, I haven't had soup curry even though I like it (laughs). It is located in the basement of the building. The sign is new and clean. There is a butterfly orchid welcoming you at the entrance. The interior has changed significantly from before, with a bar-like atmosphere now. It feels like a place for wine and dining. The menu remains the same as during Rafira's time. The dishes go well with alcohol, and there are plenty of soup curries. I left the ordering to my friend, who ordered a green salad, lamb navarin, baguette, beer, and ginger ale. Unfortunately, I forgot to take notes on the menu. I can only vaguely remember the cream-colored dish. It was served bubbling like an aioli. It was delicious. The lamb navarin did not have the typical lamb taste, and it was presented in a stylish way. The salad came with three types of dressing: hot, Chinese, and mayo. There are more dressing options to choose from. Next time, I'll try the soup curry. I need to order for myself so I can remember better. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.
