It was a first for me to stay on the north side of Sapporo Station, just a 5-minute walk from the north exit. The hotel has a rooftop hot spring bath and offers WiFi and wired LAN. The room I stayed in had a comfortable twin bed, and it was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet at the hotel's restaurant, SanRemo, was quite good. The selection included rice, miso soup, side dishes, salad, sausages, fried potatoes, omelets, pork dishes, dumplings, grilled salmon, and more, a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines. I enjoyed hot coffee and fruits for dessert. The next morning, the breakfast menu was similar to the previous day, with a focus on Japanese dishes like rice, miso soup, and various side dishes. After breakfast, I went for a walk to Sapporo Station's south side, visited the former Hokkaido Government Office building and the surrounding area, and took a leisurely stroll around Hokkaido University. Overall, I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at APA Hotel TKP Sapporo Station North Exit EXCELLENT.

I chose to stay at APA Hotel TKP Sapporo Ekimae EXCELLENT in Sapporo. The room I reserved was quite spacious! I used a double bed for myself. I opted for a breakfast plan (1400 yen). The room was on the 8th floor, with a not-so-great view of a neighboring demolition site. Still, it was nice to have access to the outside. The room had an empty refrigerator, a unit bath, a tea set, coffee and tea packs, a toothbrush, a body sponge, razors, hair ties, a hair cap, a hairbrush, and a noodle roller. I used the towels provided in the room and visited the communal baths. There is a coin laundry on the 9th floor, as well as a natural hot spring bath on the top floor. The hot spring had a lavender-like scent and was always empty when I visited, making for a comfortable experience. There are vending machines on each floor, and there is an ice maker on the 6th floor. I brought my own beer as there are Seicomart and FamilyMart convenience stores nearby. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant "Sanremo" on the 2nd floor offers a variety of over 60 dishes using local Hokkaido ingredients. I tried the Caspian Sea yogurt-like dessert, which was delicious. You can also take drinks back to your room, which is convenient. The front desk offers free morning newspapers, but umbrellas are available for purchase. If you opt out of room cleaning for two nights, you receive a bottle of the company president's natural water. The breakfast on my second day was similar to the first day's menu.

Hokkaido has received quite a bit of snow, commuting will be tough from tomorrow. Today, I would like to introduce the "APA Hotel TKP Sapporo Ekimae EXCELLENT" where I stayed during last month's training in Sapporo. I have stayed at various APA Hotels before, but this was my first time staying at "APA Hotel TKP Sapporo Ekimae EXCELLENT". Image 2 I made a reservation in advance on Rakuten Travel, and I was surprised by this. This must be a twin room, right? Image 3 Well, I'm staying alone, so this room is too luxurious. I felt a bit guilty for staying alone, but I decided to graciously enjoy the spacious room this time. Image 4 One of the appealing features of this hotel is that there is a large public bath on the hotel's rooftop. I will refrain from showing images, but if you visit the website below, you can see that there is an open-air bath on the rooftop of the hotel right in the center of Sapporo. As for the hotel breakfast, Image 5 It is a breakfast buffet where you can enjoy Hokkaido's unique dishes. Normally it costs 1,200 yen, but I made a reservation with breakfast included for 9,700 yen, so I enjoyed it thoroughly. The breakfast venue was on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Image 9 The menu changes daily, and it featured "Hanabatake Farm Whey Pork Genghis Khan" and "Obihiro's Specialty Pork Bowl" on that day. I chose the Genghis Khan dish. I enjoyed dishes like Hokkaido Zangi, Spicy Curry, and Hanabatake Farm's natural ingredients. Image 10 I had a small portion of rice and plenty of salad. I thought about having curry for breakfast, and it was delicious. It was a luxurious breakfast buffet with no complaints. Image 11 In the current Sapporo, it's becoming difficult to stay for 10,000 yen on weekends. This may be due to the influence of foreign tourists, but I guess it can't be helped.
