The filling consists of fry and shredded cabbage seasoned with mayonnaise, and the white fish fry tastes better than the bread. - Red Bean Butter Rye Bread: A popular "red bean butter bread" that has gained popularity in recent years, but this was my first time trying it. It is filled with whole red bean paste and sliced butter. I wonder why they used rye bread for this? I feel that the more common coppe bread would be easier to eat. - Cinnamon Roll: This was a clearance item that caught my eye on the way to the register, and I ended up buying an extra one. Last time, I really wanted to eat "pentozzo" but it wasn't available. This time, it was there! I had been wanting to try "maritozzo" from Kaldi, but it was always sold out. My first maritozzo was from Penguin Bakery, called "pentozzo". It had thin slices of strawberries, making it even more luxurious! It was deliciously sweet and sour. Additionally, I found some strawberries at Don Quijote for half price (199 yen) and added them to make it even more strawberry-filled. The generous amount of whipped cream with slightly sour strawberries was a perfect match! There was so much whipped cream that whipped cream lovers would be very satisfied. It was a wonderful dessert where you can drown in a sea of whipped cream! Also, I got a free "mochi mentaiko" by adding a friend on LINE. It was chewy and delicious! I didn't know this place was here at all! It's tucked away in a corner, so I didn't notice it. Last time, I found it and tried to visit, but they closed at 7:05 pm, just 5 minutes before closing time, so I couldn't go in (tears). This time, I came in the evening, so I felt relieved! However, there were hardly any pastries left. It must be really popular. I love the Peanut Butter Coppe and the Red Bean Paste Filled Bread Coppe. They are so fluffy and delicious! And the Red Bean Paste Filled Bread is great because you can buy a half portion with 3 slices. I toasted it, spread some butter, and it was amazing! Penguin Bakery is also in Sapporo. I saw it in Tomakomai and stopped by to eat in. The interior is spacious and clean. Maybe they have more variety of bread than the Sapporo store? I bought the Shrimp Shrimp Bread, Maruyama Melon Bread, and Fluffy Twin. The Shrimp Shrimp Bread is incredibly delicious! The combination of shrimp and bread is unusual but it goes so well together! It also has cream cheese inside, and I finished it in no time. The other bread was also delicious, but the impact of the Shrimp Shrimp Bread was unbeatable. Thank you for the meal.

"Penguin Bakery" now has many stores in Sapporo, Eniwa, Chitose, and more. It was my first visit, and I stopped by in Tomakomai to kill time. The bakery has a spacious parking lot, a beautiful building, and a wide interior with a café space. They offer a variety of snack bread, meal bread, and loaf bread. I bought a few items, but my favorite was the Penguin Melon Pan (they also have Panda Melon Pan). It is a mini-sized round bread with a plain base topped with penguin and panda-shaped cookie dough. There are trendy bread shops popping up all over the place. Can't let Onguri be beaten ^_^ I bought Bacon Egg for 180 yen and Tomakomai Hoki Curry Bread for 220 yen. Customers who bought bread also added coffee for 54 yen, so I had it in the store. The yolk of the Bacon Egg would be even better if it were half-cooked, but I have never eaten a bread that achieves half-cooked before. This bread is also baked well. The Tomakomai Hoki Curry Bread has the Hoki fish baked tightly, so it has become smoked Hoki. Both of them have good seasoning, but they don't taste extremely delicious. They also have ham rolls for 130 yen, three kinds of cheese, fried egg sandwich for 100 yen, fried tuna sandwich for 100 yen, salt bread from Yumecha for 120 yen, mini chocolate croissant for 50 yen, and mini brioche for 50 yen. Everything is reasonably priced and we were happy with our choices. During payment, my wife was impressed by the self-checkout system. And when she wanted to take the horn bread home as it is, the cashier offered to cut it for her, which she accepted because she found it too troublesome to cut it herself. The price is quite high, but it must have its value. The crust is harder than the typical corner bread crust sold in supermarkets. The prices are all over 200 yen, so in terms of cost performance, it's like, hmm? Nevertheless, the taste is convincing and there are creative touches that make it enjoyable to look at, so I think it's worth it. There are also special cards available.
