【Completely Non-Smoking】Meenroku-ya, a restaurant specializing in ramen, soba, and udon, located nationwide in Japan, is operated by Nippon Hyumap Corporation. In addition to the restaurant, they also manage cleaning services for Pachinko Dynam, coffee services for Pachinko customers, real estate rentals, and beverage trading. They also operate another restaurant called "Old Spaghetti Factory," which is located at Dynam Hokkaido Kitahiroshima store in a spacious building attached to the Pachinko Dynam. The restaurant is located at the back entrance of the Pachinko Dynam store, immediately visible from the main road (Prefectural Route 1080) near MaxValu and Shimamura. Payment is made in advance. Today, I visited for the first time at 1:00 PM. The weather was nice today, so I rode my bicycle to visit local farmers' markets in Eniwa and Kitahiroshima to get fresh vegetables. For lunch, I decided to visit this restaurant. From the main road, I couldn't see the restaurant sign, so I was worried if the restaurant really existed, but since it was listed on their website, I mustered up some courage and went to the back of the parking lot to find it. I found it! The restaurant was open and the friendly owner was managing everything alone. There were no other customers at that time. Since this is a nationwide chain, I expected the noodles to be thin, so I ordered the Shoyu Ramen for 640 yen and added half fried rice for an additional 300 yen. The food was served in 2-3 minutes, a well-thought-out system to not keep Pachinko customers waiting. The broth was light but pork-based, with a refreshing taste of soy sauce. The noodles were as expected, thin and slightly wavy, making it easy for Hokkaido locals to enjoy. The thinly sliced pork belly char siu was decent. The noodles were cooked al dente. Overall, it was not bad, but the price of 640 yen seemed a bit high. The half fried rice seemed like it was pre-made and mixed with chopped green onions upon serving. It was neither good nor bad, but still seemed a bit expensive for 300 yen. As someone who had just cycled 40 km, the portion size was lacking for me. I noticed they also had curry soba on the menu, which piqued my interest. Maybe I'll try that at this location or another Meenroku-ya next time. And since I had already cycled 40 km, I decided to visit another restaurant for more food!

This is a place review. In Bisawa, Kitahiroshima City, there is a restaurant located next to the Pachinko Dynam on Oomagari Street. You can easily check the exact location on the map on the food review website. I usually pass by Oomagari Street quite often, and I noticed a restaurant near the Pachinko parlor, so I decided to visit for the first time. Since there was plenty of parking at the Pachinko parlor, I parked my car nearby and entered the restaurant. I thought there would be a ticket machine, but there wasn't, so I looked at the large menu on the wall. Normally, I would order ramen, but for some reason, the ramen at Pachinko parlors tends to be quite salty, so this time I ordered the "House-prepared Tempura Soba" and paid in advance. I sat at a vacant counter seat and waited for my order. It arrived in about 6-7 minutes, and it had freshly fried tempura on top. I started by trying the soba broth, which I believe was a concentrated broth used in commercial kitchens. The broth had a strong flavor of dashi and soy sauce, but it was quite salty. Next, I tried the noodles, which I think were frozen boiled noodles. Surprisingly, they were firm and had a good texture, showing the advancement in frozen food technology. Lastly, the toppings included freshly fried onions and small shrimp tempura, along with chopped green onions. This time, I tried the "House-prepared Tempura Soba" at the Pachinko parlor, and just like the ramen soup, the soba broth was also quite salty.
