Visited "Yakiuo Ishikawa" in Tsukiji. This restaurant focuses on grilled fish instead of grilled meat, aiming to express the flavors that rival those of a yakiniku restaurant using fish. I made a reservation online after finding the restaurant on the internet and was intrigued by the Uni Ikura Don photo. I chose the Blissful Seafood Course (12,100 yen). Upon arrival, the illuminated sign outside caught my attention. Inside, I was led to the second floor where there were grills at the tables. The course began with: Blowfish Nitsuke, Seared Bluefin Tuna Toro, Seared Southern Bluefin Tuna Toro, Thai Sashimi and Tuna Yukke, Clams, Conger Eel, Grouper, Blowfish, Shirako, Eggplant, and Bai Gai (appetizers), Special Donburi (Tuna Steak, Uni, Ikura), Clam Soup, and Dessert (Chocolate, Matcha Yokan). Overall, I highly recommend it. The red vinegar sushi rice was delicious, serving as a base for the grilled fish. The Toro slices were exceptional, resembling meat with their perfect balance of fat. The white fish had a satisfying texture, and the Conger Eel and Grouper had a great fat content. I was truly impressed by the grilled fish, a must-visit. I paid with a credit card. It was delicious. I will come again. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for the course and when I arrived, there was a long line in front of the restaurant. We went up to the second floor, where the chef explained, cooked, and plated the dishes for us. The sea bream was juicy and delicious as expected. It was also a unique experience to grill and eat the clam meat directly, and it was very tasty.

It was a lunch reservation, but we were seated in a private room on the second floor. I visited because it is a filming location of my favorite show. I ordered the strongest course. The staff carefully grilled the first dish for us. They also explained the grilling time for the next fish. All the fish, including nodoguro, were delicious.

I found a grilled fish restaurant that I had always wanted to visit on SNS. When I made a reservation and went there, there was a long line in front of the store... I recommend making a reservation if possible. The fish looked delicious even before eating, and the staff grilled it right in front of me. The texture was firm, different from grilled meat, easy to eat, with oil coming out, and it was just delicious. There were condiments like wasabi and grated radish, and unlimited vinegar rice, so I could enjoy eating until the end without getting tired of it! If you are looking for a restaurant in Tsukiji, this is a place that I definitely recommend considering.

Visited for a holiday lunch around September 2023. Arrived about 10 minutes before opening, but there were already 20-30 people lined up in front. While you can make a reservation for a course, it seemed expensive and I doubted anyone would bother to reserve... but to my surprise, there were still people who skipped the line and went straight in. After waiting for about 40 minutes, we finally got in. It seems that many people are here for the grilled fish, so as we were only interested in the seafood bowl, we were able to skip ahead to the counter without a grill. The Ultimate Seared Bowl for ¥4,480 and the Medium Fatty Tuna and Salmon Roe Bowl for ¥2,860. I had the Medium Fatty Tuna and Salmon Roe Bowl, and it was satisfying with plenty of salmon roe. The minced tuna with green onion was smooth and enjoyable. However, the egg was a bit disappointing... the white wasn't cut well and it had a slightly old taste. I should have just ordered it without the egg. The rice was seasoned with red vinegar, and it had a satisfying texture that I liked. The portion was huge, and towards the end, it turned into a food fight. I strongly recommend getting less rice for women. Men should be satisfied with the portion. The Ultimate Seared Bowl seems great with both salmon roe and grilled fish, but it's quite expensive. It wasn't bad, but after eating, I felt like "I really want to go to Hokkaido."

I had seen photos of the rice bowls at this restaurant on Instagram before, but this was my first time trying the grilled fish. The photos and prices are higher for the rice bowls, but surprisingly, the grilled fish was the standout for me. I love sushi with red vinegar the most in the world, and the rice here for both the grilled fish set and rice bowl is seasoned with red vinegar! When paired with the fish, it really makes a difference, and I couldn't stop eating. The grilled fish was different from regular grilled fish, more like a cross between seared and grilled meat, and it went really well with the rice. The yellowtail was especially delicious. I also tried a bit of the rice bowl from my companion, and the standout for both the rice bowl and grilled fish was the medium fatty tuna! It was incredibly delicious, with the perfect amount of fat.

This popular restaurant is also well-known on Instagram and Tabelog. They offer a variety of dishes such as seafood bowls and set meals, and the restaurant itself looks relatively new and clean. I arrived on a Saturday around 12:30 and waited for about 1 hour to get in. They mentioned that the stay would be around 50 minutes. Their specialty is not grilled meat, but "grilled fish". So, I decided to try their signature dish, the Tsukiji's strongest seared bowl, which includes the grilled fish. The conclusion: it was incredibly delicious! The seared tuna had a crispy outer layer with a rare and tender inside, absolutely perfect. The sea urchin was sweet and creamy, topped with plenty of salmon roe and minced tuna, truly the best. Not only the toppings but even the sushi rice was delicious. The balance of red vinegar and firmness of the rice was perfectly calculated, creating a delightful harmony with the seafood. Although it is a bit pricey, it was worth getting the best bowl. It's better to be satisfied with a higher quality dish than compromising with a mediocre one. However, the seats and tables are quite cramped, each separated by curtains which adds to the feeling of tightness, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal leisurely. It may not be suitable for those who prioritize the atmosphere. But, since it's a popular restaurant with long lines, it's understandable that they need to increase turnover. The taste is excellent, so it's worth the wait, but I'm not sure if I would come back for a second visit. However, I would like to bring friends who have never been here before.

A Japanese friend recommended this place to me as delicious, so I decided to check it out. Since the set menu recommended on Tabelog was expensive, I made a reservation for just a table. At the restaurant, there was a cheaper set menu for around 4900 yen, so I ordered that along with a dish of clams and vegetables. There were various ways to cook the food, which was fun. The sushi rice was seasoned with red vinegar, and placing the grilled fish on top made it taste even better. I will definitely be coming back!

The sushi rice was just the right firmness and paired perfectly with the grilled fatty fish. Everything was delicious. Starting with the otoro, followed by Indian tuna, sea bream, and blowfish, the chef grilled each fish at the perfect timing. The final dish of cold noodles was also incredibly tasty. I definitely want to go back again.

I used a lodging coupon to have lunch at the delicious Kawasan. I was worried it might be crowded during the August summer vacation, but I was smoothly guided to a table. After the dishes were served, they explained the fish and how to grill it, which was very enjoyable. The fish was incredibly delicious, and the condiments went well with all of them. The rice was also very tasty, making it easy to eat. Although the portions didn't seem too large, I ended up feeling quite full and satisfied. The other menu items also looked delicious, so I would like to visit again.

I made a reservation for 11 o'clock. There was a line before the opening. People without reservations are waiting in line. They also have a lunch course, but this time I ordered a seafood bowl. We ordered three bowls to share between two people. The sea urchin was not fresh, it was a bit disappointing. The miso soup, pickled ginger, and wasabi were all very scarce. It seems like they are mainly targeting tourists.

I went to the restaurant around the end of Obon on 8/17 at 11:00 when it opened. I arrived at 10:40 and there was already a decent line - it's a popular place! They started letting in the first few groups who had reservations. I didn't make a reservation because you can only reserve the expensive course, but I didn't expect them to let in even the group before me and then stop. Even though there seemed to be empty seats, they wouldn't let us in! Is it reserved seating??? Also, they started changing the entrance mat 15 minutes after opening, moving the people waiting in line, so I had to move back... They should have done that before opening. After waiting for 25 minutes, I finally got in! I wonder if it's because I didn't have a reservation? I ordered the "strongest" set meal that was recommended! I also ordered the daily sashimi, which arrived in about 5 minutes! They taught me how to eat it with wasabi and offered more vinegar rice. I thought it might be a bit small, but it was just the right amount! The white fish was delicious! The tuna chu-toro and o-toro were amazing - so oily! It's understandable why there's a line, it's delicious! However, it's quite expensive. For those who want more, you can add additional pieces of fish! It's pricey, but that's okay! It's delicious, but the price is high, so the cost performance is not the best...

The seafood bowl was delicious. It would be nice to have more variety, the price was not high or low. The restaurant was clean, but the staff seemed to be watching us closely while we were eating. As soon as we finished, they cleared our plates and made us leave right away, so we couldn't relax, which was disappointing.

This is a restaurant I visit regularly. It was unusual to be able to make a reservation for seats only, so I could eat lunch without waiting in line. Recently, the number of fish dishes they grill for you at the beginning has increased, so the fun of deciding in which order to eat them has decreased a bit, but the meal was still delicious enough.

Regular ♡♡ The fish here is so juicy and sweet that you wouldn't even know it's fish unless someone told you >_< ♡ This was my first time making a reservation for a course meal. I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant is always crowded with a long line outside. There was a big-name celebrity at the ice cream shop in front of us, and groups of foreign tourists and many Japanese people as well. Tsukiji has been very busy lately, so reservations are a must!

We visited this restaurant without a reservation with 4 adults and it was truly delicious! As the name suggests, they grill the fish and sear it with three different sauces and vinegared rice. They also offer sashimi dishes and bowls if you prefer raw fish. One of my friends eating a bowl mentioned feeling a strange sensation while smelling the grilled fish. It's a unique experience that I can understand. If you like seared fish, I highly recommend trying it at Ishikawa. I've tried various sushi and chirashi at Tsukiji, but I will definitely come back here next time I visit. Seared fish lovers, you must try it out!

I made a reservation for a weekday lunch. There were a few guests from overseas. The 13,000 yen course included otoro, nodoguro, and clams. The food was mostly grilled and served rare. It may be too heavy for those who don't like oily food. I felt like the taste didn't match the price.

The cost performance is not good. I was made to wait outside in the scorching heat even though there weren't many customers. The overall service is not particularly good. The food is fairly tasty, but the cost performance is poor. The course is limited to 2 hours, but the dishes keep coming out and being prepared, so you could finish in 1 hour. Not suitable for business entertainment, so be careful. It's better to tell the staff that you will cook it yourself.

I ordered the most popular seafood course and it was my second time using this restaurant. The dishes were incredibly delicious and I was happy from the first dish to the last. The special kalbi as the first dish and the seared thick fatty tuna rice bowl as the sixth dish may be a bit heavy for some people, but it's definitely filling! The vegetable chocolate dessert may seem strange, but it's tasty so I recommend trying it without prejudice. The staff were friendly and explained everything nicely, making it a wonderful experience.
