We live in a two-family house and no matter how many times we complain, they always press the intercom on the first floor. Even though we have clearly requested to press the intercom on the second floor and provided the name on the sign. It's awkward and frustrating that they keep pressing the first floor intercom. Also, the grilled blackthroat sea perch and golden eye snapper were fishy. It was the most expensive set, so this is unacceptable. I don't think I will be ordering from them again.

I saw a posting and suddenly felt like eating♡ The flyer came in September, and I ordered in October. The prices had gone up slightly (TT). It seems like all food prices are going up. I often get surprised by the prices when shopping at the supermarket. I ordered the Takumi sushi set [10 pieces for 1,717 yen] x 2. The set included tuna, squid, sweet shrimp, salmon, albacore tuna, whelk, salmon roe, crab meat, and tamago, a total of 9 pieces. I was looking forward to the hand rolls, but it was difficult to wrap them as the seaweed was too moist, making it hard to eat. The sushi pieces were consistently delicious. I also ordered the seafood chawanmushi [378 yen each] x 2, a luxurious chawanmushi topped with crab, salmon roe, and scallop. Seafood tends to make it salty, so I might have preferred a regular chawanmushi. The oshinko roll [259 yen] was delicious, I've been craving thin rolls as a snack lately. Or maybe I just wanted to eat seaweed? The total payment for two people was 4,449 yen. We couldn't finish all the food, so we saved some for dinner, making it a reasonable and luxurious meal for both lunch and dinner.

On a certain day in March, I celebrated my 50th birthday. I still feel young at heart, but I have been struggling with shoulder and back pain, as well as various signs of aging that come with the territory. (^_^;) I am grateful to have reached another birthday this year. Since it was still during the pandemic period and I had received a "Limited Time DM Coupon" from Kura Sushi in February offering a 20% discount, my wife and I decided to use it for my birthday celebration. I had ordered delivery from my nearest Kura Sushi store, 'Kura Sushi Sapporo Shiroishi Store,' using the Kura Sushi app on my smartphone the day before my birthday to take advantage of the 5x points promotion for orders placed by the day before the birthday. The order included: - Mino Sushi Platter for 3 people, 33 pieces (changed to Kinmedai for raw shrimp, Engawa for tuna) after changing the toppings, total including tax: 9,494 yen - Seafood Chawanmushi (313 yen each x 2) *20% off with Limited Time DM Coupon *Discount of 2,024 yen with Limited Time DM Coupon and 92 yen off with accumulated delivery points Total including tax: 8,004 yen While the excitement of eating Kura Sushi for the first time has faded compared to before, the quality of the toppings is definitely superior to conveyor belt sushi in general, and some items are on par with gourmet conveyor belt sushi from Hokkaido. I understand that the rice is inevitably firmer compared to freshly made sushi at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but overall, it was delicious, including the seafood chawanmushi. At the delivery from Sushiro, limited time only until February 28, 2022, we ordered two Matsuri (festival) sets for 1,933 yen each. Each set included 10 pieces of nigiri sushi with toppings such as ikura, otoro, squid, tuna, sweet shrimp, salmon, sardine, yellowtail, scallop, and negitoro, with 3 pieces of maguro. The sushi rice and wasabi were not overpowering, allowing the toppings to shine. The size of both the rice and toppings were moderate. While everything tasted good, nothing stood out as particularly memorable. We also ordered 3 rolls of natto maki without green onions for 594 yen. As soon as we opened the lid, a pleasant aroma of seaweed filled the air. I've been loving seaweed lately. The harmony of natto, seaweed, and soy sauce is just perfect. It makes me grateful to be Japanese. Lastly, we ordered 2 servings of seafood chawanmushi for 313 yen each. The top was beautifully decorated with crab, ikura, and mitsuba, while the inside contained small but delightful surprises like chestnuts, ginkgo nuts, and shiitake mushrooms. Indulging in chawanmushi with sushi is a luxurious treat that's hard to resist. The total bill came to 5,086 yen for two people.
