The lunch course was 12,000 yen per person, and we ordered it for two people, totaling 24,000 yen. We also had two draft beers, which were around 800 yen each. In total, we spent 28,160 yen including tax. The lunch menu on the official website had three options: 10 pieces of sushi, rolls, soup, and dessert for 5,000 yen; 13 pieces of sushi, rolls, soup, and dessert for 8,000 yen; and 16 pieces of sushi, rolls, soup, and dessert for 12,000 yen. However, when we visited the restaurant, only one option was available on the menu displayed at the entrance, which was the 12,000 yen lunch course. It was my mistake for not double-checking on the official website, but the food was delicious so it turned out fine in the end.

The owner is an old acquaintance. A true Edo native. The sea urchin is incredibly delicious. Highly recommended for work or a date. The atmosphere inside is great and very user-friendly. It gives off the image of a sushi restaurant in Ginza. There is also a smoking section, making it a place worth cherishing.

The restaurant is located in Ginza 7-chome, Suzuran Street. Please be careful as the GPS in taxi navigation may lead you to the next street. The omakase course for 20,000 yen per person includes various appetizers such as salmon roe, hairy crab, abalone, and simmered octopus, paired with sake. You can choose your own sake cup. Then, dishes like foie gras, bonito, grilled fish in sweet Kyoto-style miso, and grilled clams follow. Sushi includes horse mackerel, ark shell, red snapper, shrimp, medium fatty tuna, sea urchin hand roll, and eel. The tamago (egg) is sweet and dessert-like. The meal ends with a soup and the chef's special coffee ice cream. They offer both cold and hot sake, making it perfect for cold days. In addition to full bottles, they also serve wine and champagne by the glass or half bottle, allowing you to tailor your drink to your meal or preference. The chef is friendly and entertaining. This sushi restaurant in Ginza 7-chome is not overly formal, making it suitable for casual dates or business meetings.

Today, I had a business dinner with the internal executives at a sushi restaurant in Ginza. We started with some crab meat and crab vinegar jelly, accompanied by a small beer and then switched to shochu. We enjoyed dishes like baby octopus, simmered squid, white fish, scallops, medium fatty tuna, and sea urchin, all while smoking. We had a great time discussing work and chatting with the hostess. Even though we will probably end up at two or three more places tonight, it was a fun and enjoyable dinner. #Sushi in Ginza #Crab and crab vinegar #Small beer #Yoshiiro festival #Smoking allowed #Small fatty tuna is delicious #Great sake pairing #Comfortable atmosphere #Love sitting at the counter.

I had to make a last-minute reservation at a different restaurant because the one I had booked was double booked. Despite the short notice, they were very polite and accommodating. I ordered the omakase course which included hairy crab, octopus, bonito with ankimo, flounder, spring child, sea bream, ark shell, medium fatty tuna, shad, golden eye snapper, sea urchin, egg, conger eel, and miso soup with dried shrimp roll. The omakase course started with appetizers and moved on to easy-to-eat sushi with a good pace. I particularly enjoyed the octopus appetizer and the medium fatty tuna and flounder sushi. It's a casual restaurant that I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

In Ginza, there are many famous restaurants and sushi shops that are difficult to make reservations at, but this place seems to be relatively easy to reserve and convenient to use. Located right in the heart of Ginza, it gives off the impression of being frequented by adults who are used to drinking in Ginza. The exterior may seem high-end, so young people might not think to make a reservation here. However, once you step inside, it is not as formal as it appears, yet not too casual either. With a counter and private rooms, the atmosphere is elegant and calm, allowing us to enjoy delicious sushi. The photos only capture some of the dishes. The omakase course included various appetizers and side dishes followed by sushi. The appetizers made me crave sake from the start. Some of the items included were karasumi, firefly squid, ankimo, simmered octopus, simmered kinmedai, sesame tofu, and sakura leaf sushi, among others. The karasumi and ankimo were delicious, making me want to drink more sake. Having 2 pieces of medium fatty tuna was also a pleasant surprise. This restaurant has a sense of stability and is easy to use.

There were a lot of dishes, including some that weren't photographed, and the portions were quite generous. Everything tasted delicious, but personally, the best dish of the day for me was the Pacific saury. Even though I'm not a fan of oily fish! However, the vinegar in the sushi rice was strong, and the wasabi was very potent, making it difficult to eat towards the end.

I visited this restaurant after several years and it was beautiful. The appetizers were delicious, especially the grilled flat clams. I want to eat them again. The sushi was good, but the rice portions were large. I got full quickly. However, I couldn't resist trying all three flavors of ice cream for dessert. Thank you for the meal.

I went to "Sushi Tsubaki" in Ginza this time! It became a memorable restaurant as it was the last sushi restaurant during my student days! However, I don't remember much because I was frozen. This time it's shrimp! Fun fact: Uni has various names, and shrimp also has 4 different names depending on its size. So shrimp is also called a "successful shrimp." ① "Thin (sheath) roll" - less than 10cm in length ② "Roll" - about 10cm to 15cm in length ③ "Car" - about 15cm to 20cm in length ④ "Large car" - over 20cm in length Well, in terms of size classification, it's a big success for Mikimaru Suisan. Oh, it got long again... But tuna keeps swimming without stopping, so I can't stop either. I will continue to swim hard!

I started with some deliciously sticky and chewy karasumi, and as soon as I took a bite, I quickly ordered some sake. It was the best karasumi I've ever had in my life. I even got seconds of karasumi haha. The live shrimp that came after was also delicious, with a rich and savory flavor. The ankimo was also tasty, and overall, the appetizers were perfect. I couldn't resist eating more appetizers, so I ended up not ordering as much sushi, but I still think it was all amazing.

Sushi omakase for lunch. No other customers at the counter. Probably the second round. The chef seems friendly. The spacious counter is nice. Started with beer and then moved on to a sake set. Sushi pieces are small and the chef adjusts the size. The rice is loose and falls apart. Various types of fish like whitefish, red fish, horse mackerel, mackerel, kohada, shellfish, shrimp, anago, and other classics. The bluefish and shrimp were particularly good. The chef's friendly and attentive service, detailed explanations of the ingredients, and casual conversation were just as impressive as the sushi. Sushi is all about the rice. Will definitely come back again.

Lunch at Tsubaki in Ginza was a first for me, and I opted for the 5000 yen sushi course. The balance between the rice and toppings was excellent, ranking high among Ginza sushi places. The rice had a nice saltiness that complemented the toppings well. The dishes at the counter were also wonderful. While the place seemed upscale, the friendly chef put me at ease. A fantastic restaurant that shouldn't be missed in Ginza for sushi lovers.

During the state of emergency, the shop was closed the whole time. We reopened on 10/1 after the state of emergency was lifted. The customer turnout was moderate during lunch, with reservations recommended. There were families with children, and the atmosphere in the elegant Ginza sushi restaurant could provide a good experience for kids. The sushi was presented in white wooden boxes, which was a nice touch. However, the pieces were on the smaller side and seemed to be priced accordingly. For a reasonably priced sushi experience in Ginza, I thought maybe Suzuki might be a better option. Nevertheless, it was delicious.

This is also a restaurant recommended by the owner of a favorite restaurant in Ginza. The owner is a drinking buddy. Lunch is often from 11:00 to 11:30, but this place opens at 12:00. The high-end course was 8,000 yen. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building owned by a Madam Mama, with an elegant design different from typical buildings. The interior is beautifully Japanese-style, with sushi at its core. The sushi counter and furnishings are all beautiful. Unlike many places that use metal trays for the sushi ingredients, this place insists on using wooden sushi boxes (which are also beautiful). The sushi chef here, Wada-san, who used to work at Sushi Mizutani, makes excellent sushi, but only serves it at night. I had the sushi made by the young chef, and it was very fulfilling, with a quality that you wouldn't expect for less than 10,000 yen. If you want sushi in Ginza for less than 10,000 yen, this place is definitely my top priority.

I visited during lunchtime. It is located near Hanatsubaki Street, and the name of the restaurant is "Tsubaki," which seems to be run by a female owner based on the website. The restaurant has a calm exterior and gives off a vibe of a high-end Ginza establishment. The interior is spacious and well-designed, with a narrow corridor leading to the main dining area. There are also counter seats and private rooms available. The atmosphere inside is tranquil, with earthy walls and subtle accents like flowers and decorations. I opted for the 13-piece sushi set priced at 8800 yen (tax included). The sushi rice was seasoned with regular vinegar instead of red vinegar and served at a slightly lower temperature. The sushi pieces appeared compact at first glance, but the rice was elongated behind the toppings, so there was actually more rice than it seemed. The sushi was firmly packed but had a light texture. The soy sauce for dipping had a strong dashi flavor. The flounder and ark shell were fresh and had a relatively strong taste and texture. I tried needlefish for the first time this winter, and its unique texture was enjoyable. The lightly seared golden snapper was rich in flavor and delicious. The sea urchin had no fishy taste and was elegantly tasty. Overall, I found the restaurant to offer an authentic sushi experience in a sophisticated Ginza setting, with reasonable prices. While it may not have standout features, it provides a stable and refined dining experience that I personally enjoyed. I would like to visit again in the evening. The sushi included squid, flounder, striped jack, ark shell, small fish, needlefish, golden snapper, medium fatty tuna, small skin, sea urchin, horse mackerel, cucumber roll, conger eel, tamago, and ice cream. Miso soup was also served.

The sushi chef wasn't the master, but the sushi was very delicious. We had the 8000 yen 13-piece course. The squid had a nice texture, the abalone was tender, the shrimp was big and juicy, and the fatty tuna roll was excellent. Each piece of tableware was different for each person, and every time they changed the tea, they brought a new tea cup with a different texture, which was enjoyable. There weren't many customers, so the timing of serving was a bit too quick for my liking. Especially with the seaweed items, I wanted to eat them right away when they were served, but I hesitated if there was still some left from the previous dish. I wish they would have waited another 30 seconds to a minute before serving the next dish.
