I discovered a late-night menu and pondered over what to order using the touch panel. It seems like that's the norm nowadays. I started with a small size squid rice bowl, which was fried perfectly and quite satisfying. Then, I decided to try the chicken daikon soba, thinking about the balance with rice. It turned out to be unexpectedly delicious. The daikon, soaked in a sweet and savory sauce, was chunky and paired well with the tasty chicken. The egg yolk seemed to be saying, "I'm here too!" The noodles, playing a supporting role, were also delicious. I came to the bathhouse with the intention of dieting, but ended up eating so much that I probably gained weight (laughs).
