Happy New Year! Thank you for reading my reviews and for the warm comments and likes last year! Feel free to talk to me anytime ♡ And this year, I may not provide very useful reviews, but thank you in advance! [2017/1] To feel the New Year spirit, I had to try the much-loved "Yuzu Manju" that is released during the New Year period. I had been checking out Rokkatei since the end of last year, but I always missed it and it was sold out when I finally got there on the 5th! I guess I should have called to reserve it ( ;∀;) I went without makeup and wearing a mask to avoid being recognized, but the staff still figured out who I was! They even introduced me as the Yuzu Lady to other staff members, embarrassing but funny! The Yuzu Manju this year seems a bit bigger overall, or maybe it's just me? I feel like I need to eat two at a time to be satisfied as usual (oΦωΦ)o The balance of yuzu paste in the manju is always good and consistent ☆ ************************* [2016/7] I always check out Rokkatei's monthly sweets, and this time they had a snack with yuzu bean paste, so I went to buy it as usual. The staff recognized me and even had a hunch that I would come, which was surprising! The snack is like a summer version of kuzumanju with yuzu bean paste inside. The yuzu flavor is slightly milder than in Yuzu Manju, but the taste of the bean paste reminds me of Yuzu Manju! This is recommended for summer ☆ It may not beat Yuzu Manju, but it was lucky to encounter this taste without waiting a year! [2016/5②] This month's snack shop item is a Cheese Souffle (500 yen). When eaten as is, the cheese part is smooth and moist, but the sponge part is like castella. When I tried it with lemon syrup, it all made sense! The sponge texture that seemed a bit rough before became delicious and complemented the refreshing acidity of the lemon syrup with the cheese souffle! I usually wish for the Rokkatei series to make their sizes smaller, but this one felt quite worth it! And it's not too heavy, so I should have bought another one~>< I might get addicted to this snack shop (^o^)♪ I love the staff who always greet me warmly and fun! [2016/5①] When I happened to pass by, I saw this month's snack, a Matcha Dumpling! I had to buy it ε=(ノ・∀・)ツ The dough is made with matcha, and it's slightly matcha-flavored. The dumplings are soft and chewy. The sweet bean paste is also great! For those who don't like bitterness, it's okay without the matcha powder (^o^) And when you sprinkle the bitter matcha powder on top, ( ゚Д゚) Delicious! It only comes with 9 pieces, which is a downside, but I will definitely repurchase! Also, this month's snack shop item (500 yen), the Cheese Souffle, looks delicious, so I made a reservation since May 7 is a Saturday (`・ω・´) It seems to be their first time making a Cheese Souffle, so I'm looking forward to it! Reservations are until the 4th!**********【2016/3】I was looking for a snack like Yuka from the Nishimura Family, so I decided to try Daigo, which I had never eaten before. It's in the refrigerated section, so you eat it chilled. Let's dig in! (`・ω・´) I thought it would have a thick sponge cake-like texture, but it's more like a soft and fluffy dorayaki. Oh, this has a fluffy texture that doesn't require much chewing (^o^) Cream cheese...
