I visited on a hot summer afternoon. It was around 12:30 pm and there was already one group of customers. It takes quite some time as they cut the fruit after taking the order, so you may have to wait if there are 3-4 people in line. The fruit soft-serve ice cream is a bit pricey, so it takes some courage to buy. I had the chocolate soft-serve while the person with me had the fruit soft-serve. The fruit soft-serve had plenty of fruit chunks and was sweet and delicious. You can tell they use good quality fruit. The chocolate soft-serve was tasty but nothing special. It was easy to eat as the chocolate wasn't too sweet. The soft-serve ice cream was also well-made with a rich milk flavor and was delicious. However, the price was...! 2000 yen for soft-serve ice cream is quite expensive, I can't afford to have it multiple times. I thought it might sell better if they offered it as a fruit parfait instead. But at least the fruit (soft-serve) was worth the price in terms of taste. Thank you for the meal. Oh, the service from the staff was also amazing. They were friendly and very nice.

Before summer, an ice cream shop opened. It's located on the first floor of a newly built small office building near Nijo Market. The interior of the shop is stylish with black walls, giving off a vibe similar to Shin-Okubo. There is no seating space inside the shop. They seem to be promoting fruit-based ice creams, which are displayed. However, the fruit-based options are quite expensive, mostly over 1000 yen. I decided to go with a banana chocolate ice cream, which cost 1000 yen. The ice cream is more like a parfait, to be honest. Calling it a parfait might make the price more justifiable. The size is not large. The taste is delicious. But still, it feels a bit too pricey. Maybe it's because everything is getting more expensive these days, so it can't be helped. If you want cheap ice cream, you might as well go to a convenience store. Perhaps they have no choice but to go for a high-end route.

Located near Nijo Market in the 2nd block of East 2nd street, this ice cream shop opened on June 6th. They offer a variety of toppings such as fruits and sweet ingredients, giving more of a parfait feel than traditional ice cream. The most affordable option is the regular for 550 yen, but many options exceed 1,000 yen. They also have cups of fruit displayed in the case. The menu includes "fruit-based" and "sweets-based" options like Mont Blanc, taiyaki, kinako, amanatto, and chocolate. The fruit options are quite pricey, with items like "Miyazaki Mango for 3,000 yen," "Yubari Melon for 2,500 yen," and "Shine Muscat for 2,000 yen." I decided to go with the most affordable fruit option, the "Gold Kiwi" for 850 yen. It was ready in just a few minutes as there was no line. The staff explained that they use soft serve made with Hokkaido milk, even though the shop is called an ice cream shop. The bottom half of the cup was filled with gold kiwi, topped with large slices on top. The soft serve had a rich milk flavor and paired well with the kiwi. It was quite delicious, but in terms of cost performance, it may be a bit expensive. There is no seating inside, so most people were standing and eating after taking photos at the order counter. I would love to try the 1,000 yen+ options if there were more relaxed seating available. Overall, the taste was delicious!

I was aiming for a shop inside Nijo Market but ended up returning to Sapporo Station. On the way, I remembered this place had opened so I decided to stop by. The shop was not very big and I was approached by four men all at once, which made me a bit nervous (laughs). Then I saw the prices on the menu and got a bit shocked again (laughs). A friend who knew I liked Yubari melon said, "They only have Yubari melon, right? It's 2500 yen though?!" So I decided to go with the "Normal" option (550 yen). In the cup, there were sugar-frosted corn flakes and a Belgian biscuit LOTUS on top of the soft serve ice cream, which was served in a smaller portion. Since my friend and I were two people, we each got a spoon. The soft serve ice cream had a mild sweetness and a refreshing taste with a good milk flavor. It seemed like they used high-quality fruits, but would you pay over 1000 yen for a soft serve ice cream in this size cup? Maybe they are targeting tourists? Or is it becoming more common for prices to be like this? Hmm... "Mazuwa," thank you for the meal.

On June 6, 2023, OPEN... just a few minutes walk from Nijo Market. "First, ice cream." The interior of the stylish shop is dimly lit, with a stylish young man with a two-block haircut and a beautiful woman. The atmosphere may be slightly uncomfortable for middle-aged men, but they are greeted with a cheerful "Welcome!" The menu consists of small parfaits with soft serve and assorted fruits, with 9 fruit options and 12 regular options ranging in price from "Normal @550" to "Miyazaki Mango @3,000." Orders are served quickly, in about 3 minutes, without much wait. I quickly take a photo and leave the shop. The ice cream is smooth with a strong milk flavor, topped with chocolate sauce, two pieces of soft chocolate, and a small piece of chocolate. The chocolate sauce makes it hard to see, but the soft serve is smooth and tasty. The soft chocolate is soft and has a good texture, but I would be happier if it had a bit more acidity and was of higher quality. The chocolate piece is extraordinary and a bit spicy, but I'm slightly doubtful if customers will be drawn to this product. The value of a small cup with a small amount of soft serve and two pieces of soft chocolate is almost the same as a bowl of ramen... The cost performance of this size and price is reasonable, but in a world where prices are rising, it may be inevitable. It's a tough world. Thank you for the meal.

Finally, after a long delay from the originally planned April opening, the restaurant had a soft opening on June 3rd. The opening hours were from 12:00 to 15:00. The signage was not yet fully completed, but they managed to open. The menu mainly consists of ice cream with various toppings, as well as fruit-based options. The fruit options range from Gold Kiwi at 850 yen to Miyazaki Mango at 3,000 yen, which was a bit surprising. I decided to try the recommended sweet soybean flour matcha ice cream, which was beautifully presented with cornflakes, soft serve ice cream, matcha Mont Blanc, sweet soybeans, and three-color dumplings with a wafer. It was very delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, and I need to make sure to leave a review next time.

In the end, it's finally here! After delays upon delays from the information indicating an opening in April, the pre-opening finally started on June 3rd. The pre-opening hours are from 12:00 to 15:00. The signboard was nowhere to be seen for a long time, but finally, the place opened. The signboard is still temporary though. There was another page that was created earlier, but the phone number was completely different, so I will review the correct page. They sell ice cream in the same containers, with options like ice cream with various toppings and fruit-based desserts. The fruit desserts range from 850 yen for gold kiwi to 3,000 yen for Miyazaki mango, which was a bit surprising. So, I decided to start with the ice cream. I ordered the recommended sweet red bean matcha for 1,050 yen. It had cornflakes at the bottom, soft serve ice cream, matcha Mont Blanc, sweet red beans, and three-color dango and senbei laid out beautifully. It was cute and photogenic. The combination of senbei, matcha Mont Blanc, and sweet red beans was delicious. Reviews and feedback are essential for a restaurant to stand out, right? I need to learn from this experience.
