After buying an apple pie at a shop, my friend suggested going to Jellies Popcorn, which had recently opened nearby. I was happy to go along as I had tried their popcorn at an event before and I love popcorn. We looked at the map and found out that it was on the second floor of a building off the main street. As we got closer to the building, we could smell the sweet aroma coming from the shop. Inside, the shop was not very big but already had a lot of customers. They had about 10 different flavors, including some limited-time options, and we decided to try two of them. The chocolate and caramel popcorn was not too sweet and had a nice hint of bitterness, making it easy to eat. The caramel butter popcorn had a good balance of sweetness and a slight bitterness, making it delicious. The combination of chocolate and caramel was especially tasty. The classic Hokkaido butter soy sauce popcorn was also delicious, with the saltiness and flavor of butter enhanced by the savory soy sauce. The popcorn also came with a zipper lock, which was convenient for keeping it fresh. They had many other flavors available, and I would love to come back and try more in the future. There was a popcorn vendor at Big House. The inside of the store smelled like a movie theater, which made me want to buy some popcorn. They had various flavors like salt, yuzu pepper, and black honey. It was a bit expensive but delicious. I couldn't decide which one to choose so I ended up getting all three. The black honey flavor was sweet. I wonder if caramel would have been better? The popcorn looked cute so it might be a good souvenir. If I have the chance, I'd like to visit the store in person.

I saw a shop that I had seen at Ario Sapporo here at Fripa, so I went to buy popcorn, but the building was very hard to find... 😂 It's next to the credit union so I was able to find it without getting lost, but I felt really anxious until I found it. The shop is small, but there were many different types of popcorn! - Chocolate & Caramel: When I looked at the ingredients, it said cocoa instead of chocolate...? A bit artificial chocolate...? 😂 It had a taste like chocolate flakes, which made me feel nostalgic. The caramel wasn't too overwhelming, it was more of a gentle caramel popcorn. - Soy Sauce Butter: The flavor was light with a hint of butter. I wanted a bit more punch, haha. Compared to Garrett or Hill Valley, it was quite subtle in flavor, giving me the impression of old movie theater popcorn. (So maybe that's why I felt nostalgic~) It's been a while since I had popcorn... 😂
