The special curry I ordered was amazing, with lots of my favorite ingredients. Each ingredient was grilled carefully and everything was delicious. The presentation was also enjoyable. I definitely want to visit again!

When I mentioned that I wanted to try soup curry during my trip to Sapporo, my friend took me to this restaurant. The soup here is delicious. It's light and the balance of spices is just right, making it suitable for everyone. It was medium spicy, but the level of spiciness was just right for me to enjoy. It may be a bit lacking in spice for those who like it really hot. I think it's a different dish from regular curry. It was a wonderfully delicious meal.

Sapporo Gourmet Part 3. I visited around 6:30 in the evening. I went to Suage Plus next door and it was crowded, so I came here instead. It was already about half full but I was seated right away. I ordered the Shiretoko chicken and vegetable soup curry. Even though I was about to run a marathon, I chose the spiciest level of spiciness. It was indeed very spicy as it was the spiciest level available for free. Thanks to that, I had to go to the bathroom several times before the marathon on the morning of the race. There weren't a lot of different types of vegetables in the curry, but the summer vegetables were fried and delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in my life after being recommended by an acquaintance. I had never been interested in soup curry before, but when I saw the photo of the soup curry from this restaurant that my acquaintance had, it looked so delicious that I decided to come and try it. It was even more delicious than I had imagined, and I finished it in no time. Despite waiting in line for about 30 minutes on a weekday afternoon, this is a restaurant that is worth waiting for.

It is located next to Suage Plus, called Suage 2. You can either wait in a long line or wait for a while, but the menu and taste are the same. Think of Plus as a separate place. The main soup curry is delicious. It contains a lot of deep-fried vegetables on skewers. You can choose the base of the soup from original Suage, squid ink, and shrimp. The lassi is especially delicious!

Visited after a year, last time was at the main store. Went on a Sunday evening and found a long line outside the main store. Decided to try the adjacent store which opened at 6 pm. Wanted to order the Inca's Awakening sweet potato mochi, but made a mistake and ended up getting the deep-fried version as a topping, a regrettable error. However, the Inca's Awakening was delicious. Ordered the beef tripe and vegetable curry. Felt slightly lacking in the amount of tripe, but the vegetables were plentiful and left me feeling full. Just as delicious as the main store.

I love Suage's curry and have been a fan in Tokyo many times. Finally, I was able to eat it at its birthplace in Hokkaido. The fried vegetables on top of the curry tasted exceptionally fresh. The charcoal-grilled chicken was also irresistible. The spicy soup curry goes well with rice. Squeezing lemon at the end adds a refreshing touch, making it delicious until the last bite.

I have overcome my aversion to soup curry that I have been denying for 28 years, thinking it was something only stupid women eat. I finally put an end to it in Sapporo last time. It's delicious. Depending on the toppings, the taste can change significantly, so it's always fun no matter how many times you go. Thank you for reading until the end. I am updating delicious gourmet foods mainly in Miyagi Prefecture in Tohoku at my own pace. Your follows and likes are greatly appreciated, so if you are willing, please support me.

A famous restaurant that competes with GARAKU in popularity. The store expanded, but the taste has declined. It has become a chain with a branch even in Tokyo Shibuya. Not much attention to detail, especially in the soup. It might be okay for tourists trying soup curry for the first time. But regulars might find it lacking.

When you go to Hokkaido, you can't miss the soup curry! Vegetable curry with lots of vegetables (mild). This soup curry is full of big ingredients and super filling! The vegetables were sweet and soft, so delicious. The recommended cheese on the rice was also amazing! There are plenty of curry and topping options, so it was hard to choose. Everything looked so delicious. The warm curry warms you up. Address: 2F, Toshimatsu Building, 5-chome, Minami 4-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido 064-0804. Business hours: 11:30-21:30 (Saturday until 22:00). Closed on: None. Parking: None. Thank you for reading until the end! Likes and saves make me happy. Check out my Instagram too: @gourmet_tabi.

I love soup curry, so I decided to have some. Following a friend's recommendation, I visited Suage-san. The main branch was crowded, but luckily I didn't have to wait much at this location. I placed my order with high expectations. The deep-fried ingredients were delicious, and the curry spices stimulated my appetite and taste buds. It was delicious. Very delicious. I was completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Towards the end of my trip to Hokkaido, I visited Suage. The main store was full, so I went to the nearby second store. I didn't have to wait and got a seat right away. I ordered the oyster curry, which was okay but nothing special. The price was also a bit high, so I felt that soup curry might not be a must-try dish when visiting Hokkaido.

Last night, I tried to visit "Suage+" for lunch right after it opened, but it was full due to its popularity. The staff recommended trying "Suage2" as there was seating available, so I quickly went there instead. I was able to get a table and ordered the beef tripe and vegetable curry. The perfectly cooked beef tripe was delicious. I also ordered a chicken leg and vegetable curry for takeout. I chose the simmered chicken this time. It was delicious when I ate it later. Thank you for the meal!

It's a hot summer, but there's a soup that's perfect even for those who aren't big fans of spicy food. The tomato-colored soup with succulent chicken adds depth to the flavor. This popular restaurant is always packed, but many customers eat quickly and leave, so I was able to find a seat without much wait. The cafe-style interior creates a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Leg with vegetables, Spicy Soup level 6, and a small portion of rice. The spiciness of the soup is perfect even after drinking. The oil and herbs floating on the soup are classic but delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed breaking the soft-boiled egg into it. The carrots and potatoes on the skewer also complemented the dish well. I hesitated about adding broccoli as an extra, but the regular side dish was enough. The soup here pairs well with beer too. I look forward to enjoying that next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I intended to go to the main store, but mistakenly lined up at 2. By the time I realized, it was already too late. Anyway, it was crowded. The soup curry with Hachinohe Jidori chicken. I felt that the vegetable preparation was excellent rather than the soup. Truly living up to its name. It seems that not only the frying method but also the way they cook the ingredients is good. It would be better to go at a less crowded time.

First time in Hokkaido. Headed to that Nikka Building through the underground passage. There is something exciting about visiting a new place. First, the people. Are they driving fast or walking quickly? And the local cuisine. Hokkaido has delicious local dishes like Genghis Khan, seafood, and vegetables, and one of the local specialties, soup curry. Today, I really wanted to try it, and while looking around near the Nikka Building, I found this restaurant. The main store was crowded, so they suggested the adjacent second store where there were available tables. The interior looked like a cafe, with a feminine touch. I chose the soup curry with lamb meat this time. After a 15-minute wait, the soup curry arrived with vegetables on skewers, very voluminous! It was good that I didn't order the large portion. The rice was served piled up on the plate, like an old Western-style restaurant. I remember you scoop the rice with a spoon and dip it in the curry to eat. The aroma of the spices spread in my mouth and was delicious! The vegetables on skewers were deep-fried and comforting, really tasty! Oh, that's why it's called SUAGE. It was delicious, but eventually, it became a bit troublesome to dip with the spoon, so I just dumped the rice into the soup plate and ate it like a cat. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located a few minutes walk from Susukino Station, about two shops down from the main branch. Despite being relatively late for lunch, the main branch was packed! I decided to try my luck here and found it to be empty. I had visited the main branch a few times before starting to use Tabelog. This was my first visit here. They advocate for "soup curry the day after drinking." I forgot to take a photo of the menu. I must have still been a bit drunk. I ordered the Crispy Chicken with small rice at spice level 4. It arrived in about 10 minutes. I like spicy food, so I could have gone a bit spicier. I remember the chicken being crispier when I had it before, but that was many years ago, things change. The flavor was consistent and had a nice depth. Perfect for the day after a night of drinking. If the main branch is crowded, this place might be a hidden gem.

I stopped by during my trip to Hokkaido! I had been looking forward to visiting this soup curry restaurant in Susukino for about 5 years since I had it last time. I ordered the Shiretoko chicken and fried vegetable curry. The combination of broth and curry was excellent! The fried vegetables were also delicious as they absorbed the broth. Healthy and satisfying! I finished every last bit. Thank you for the delicious meal!

When I went to Hokkaido for work, my friend took me to a recommended soup curry restaurant! It's called Soup Curry Suage 2, located on the 4th floor of a building just a few minutes' walk from Susukino Station. We arrived with 3 people and were seated at a table. The atmosphere was more like a stylish cafe than a curry restaurant. We went after the lunch rush, so we were able to get a seat without waiting. The menu had many delicious options, but we decided to order the popular "Baribari Shiretoko Chicken and Vegetable Curry". It came with potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, eggplant, green peppers, maitake mushrooms, and boiled eggs. We also added broccoli as a topping, which my friend highly recommended. The vegetables were large and the fried broccoli was a great choice! The soup was Suage Soup with a medium spiciness level. It was so delicious and made me feel happy! There was a lemon on the rice plate, so I could add it for a refreshing taste. This soup curry, loved by locals, is definitely a must-try! I want to go back again!

I finally visited the soup curry restaurant I was curious about! There were a lot of foreign customers, so I felt like I was in a foreign country even though I was in Japan! I tried pork instead of chicken in the soup curry for the first time, and it was really delicious! I will be eating more pork from now on! It goes well with lassi, so I recommend ordering them together!
