I have been curious about this restaurant because it is located in the outskirts. The atmosphere is like a drinking place in Okinawa with orange lights and various sake brewery posters on the walls. I haven't seen this in other Okinawan restaurants before, so I had high expectations. I had made a reservation in advance, so I was guided to a nice booth-like seat in the back. The clientele on the day I visited was mostly students who could drive, as it was a weekday night. I had to call the staff to take my drink order since they didn't come for a while. The menu was the same as the sister store 4-6 (Marusandou). I ordered Sukugarasu Yakko, Goya Salad, Goya Champuru, and Rafute. It took a while for the tofu to arrive, and when it did, all the dishes I ordered came out at once. I wanted to enjoy them slowly, but it was quite inconvenient. After that, we added one dish at a time, and the pace of bringing them to the table was okay. The Goya Champuru had a bonito dashi, which was quite light. As for the Rafute, I wonder what the difference is between it and Kakuni. Comparing Okinawan and local Okinawan cuisine may not be fair, but the taste was not as good as I had hoped, so I was disappointed. I think there is room for improvement in how the kitchen handles idle time.

"Shun" is a delicious market for Okinawan cuisine located in Higashimito. It is a sister store of "Ma-san Do" in Kaimono Park and "Toriae-zu" in Dobutsuen-dori. I visited "Ma-san Do" before and many items were sold out, so I couldn't eat much Okinawan cuisine, but this time I made sure to visit "Shun"! When I entered the restaurant, it had a very Okinawan atmosphere. I went there early in the opening hours, so the restaurant was almost empty. However, after about an hour, more than half of the seats were filled, showing its popularity. The menu includes Okinawan cuisine as well as regular izakaya dishes. This time, I tried dishes such as Soki Soba, Island Pickles, Sea Grapes, Jimaame Tofu, and Goya Champuru.
- Soki Soba: The noodles are thick and chewy, more like a cross between udon and ramen. It has a nice flavor with pickled ginger, similar to takoyaki.
- Sea Grapes: A rare ingredient often sold out. The unique texture of sea grapes is delightful.
- Island Pickles: I tried fresh island pickles this time. It has a taste and texture similar to green onions, refreshing and light. Island pickles tempura might be easier to eat.
- Jimaame Tofu: A peanut-flavored tofu that is slightly sweet. The texture is like Bavarian cream, recommended for women.
- Goya Champuru: I forgot to take a photo, but this was actually my favorite! It was easy to eat with no bitterness from the goya, very delicious.
They also have a good selection of Okinawan drinks like awamori and Orion beer. Unfortunately, I don't drink alcohol, so I had acerola juice and passion fruit juice. For dessert, the Sata Andagi with black sugar was tasty, although I wish the Sata Andagi was not cut into small pieces. It paired well with the black sugar and ice cream. There are few places in Asahikawa where you can enjoy authentic Okinawan cuisine, so I highly recommend visiting "Shun"!

I visited a restaurant that had a bit of an Okinawan vibe. They have a parking lot available. They also offer a designated driver service for when you leave. As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a Shisa statue at the entrance. I took off my shoes and went inside. The interior was quite spacious with a live music area. The menu was a bit scattered, but I was disappointed to find out they didn't have Orion beer. I decided to try the Goya Champuru and some island shallot tempura. The food was delicious! Just in time, a live performance started, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable place with a nice atmosphere. They even have a counter where you can enjoy a drink by yourself.

This restaurant, which used to be a creative izakaya, was destroyed by a fire, but it has now been revived with the same name and in the same location. While Okinawa is known for Orion beer, this place also has a separate tap for Orion beer in addition to regular draft beer. They offer a wide variety of awamori, and even if you're not familiar with it, they will help you find the perfect drink based on the atmosphere.

My ex-husband and his friend brought back Goya Champuru as a souvenir, and it was so delicious that I always wanted to try it myself. Recently, to immerse myself in the afterglow of my trip to Okinawa, I decided to visit. There were almost all the dishes that come to mind when you think of "Okinawa," and they were all delicious! The restaurant had a bookshelf filled with books about Okinawa, and even though it was an izakaya, I found myself engrossed in reading. The inside of the restaurant was calm, with a style where you take off your shoes before entering.

I went to a restaurant with the lunch passport. There are quite a few restaurants serving Okinawan cuisine now. The atmosphere is full of tropical vibes from the moment you step in front of the restaurant! Oh, you have to take off your shoes to enter. I put my shoes in the shoebox myself. Wow, it really feels like I've traveled to Okinawa (*^^*). It reminds me of the izakaya where I had a blast during my trip to Okinawa before (laughs). Oh, the counter seats have a sunken kotatsu-style area with white stones about 5 cm below. It's like a nice foot reflexology massage. It really makes you feel like you're in Okinawa (^-^) Asahikawa part 3 from May 10th to August 10th. This is my first time participating. The lunch passport can be used from 11:00 to 13:30. Irregular holidays. 8 parking spaces. 30 seats. Okinawa chunpon set (Okinawa chunpon, mini Okinawa soba, salad, pickles). The salad is mainly shredded cabbage with mizuna, carrots, and sesame dressing. The Okinawa soba has homemade noodles with a good texture and a nice broth. Looking around, oh, there's no koregusu. I really wanted to eat it with this ( ̄▽ ̄;) The Okinawa chunpon is served on rice with cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, onions, leeks, and spam stir-fried in Okinawa soba broth and topped with a poached egg. It's lightly salted and gentle on both the taste and the body. It feels like a dish served in a bowl. In the center, there's red pickled ginger, and on the side, there's pickled radish. Yum yum (^q^) In front of the counter, there are lined up bottles of awamori. Hmm, I want to drink (*^O^*). If there was a restaurant like this near my house, I would definitely have a lively party (*^^*) Hehehe. Thank you for the meal.
