【July 5, 2023 Revisit】This restaurant is very reasonably priced and feels like a showcase of a sushi restaurant. This is my first time visiting for lunch, and it is a very popular place, so making a reservation in advance is a must. It is conveniently located near Shinbashi Station, behind the Recruit headquarters, where there are many nightlife establishments, making it ideal for accompanying others. Please watch the reel video first: https://www.instagram.com/p/CuTVByAg9iF/ Both yakiniku and sushi restaurants are loved by the Japanese people, meeting the needs of many, so pricing varies. It is difficult to provide high-quality ingredients at a reasonable price because there are reasons behind the prices, such as cost ratios, rent, labor costs, utilities, and other expenses. As a restaurant, there needs to be a profit after deducting these costs. Therefore, each person has their own cost-performance ratio and value perception, and without the support of loyal customers, it is challenging for a restaurant to survive. Having said that, I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is delicious both during lunch and dinner, and the prices are very affordable compared to other places. While it may not be very cheap at night, the quality for the price is high. We are currently in a sushi bubble, with omakase sets priced at 30,000 or 40,000 yen, some restaurants returning Michelin stars and becoming membership-based, undergoing various transformations. Sushi Tatsumi remains faithful to the basics and runs an honest business, making it a great place for sushi beginners to learn. One unique feature is the all-you-can-eat inarizushi! ◻️Lunch Course "Miyabi" - 6,000 yen (tax included) - Assorted Sushi (13 pieces), Tamagoyaki, Soup, Chawanmushi, Dessert - Horse Mackerel - White Squid with Yuzu and Salt - Isaki - Botan Shrimp - Kohada - Toro - Bonito with Green Onion and Ginger - Blackthroat Seaperch with Lemon (Seared) - Ikura Gunkan - White Shrimp - Miso Soup - Uni Gunkan - Tuna Pickled with Yuzu - Simmered Conger Eel - Thin Omelette - Inarizushi (eat as much as you want!) - Lychee Sorbet This restaurant is recommended because it offers great quality at a very reasonable price for both lunch and dinner. It's a good place to start your sushi journey! ◻️Sushi Tatsumi 8-5-19 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 03-5568-8801 6 minutes from Shinbashi Station 12 minutes from Ginza Subway Station 290m from Shinbashi Station Business Hours: Mon-Fri: 11:30-14:30, 17:00-23:00 (Last Order: 22:00) Sat: 11:30-15:00, 17:00-22:00 Closed on Sundays and public holidays

I made a last-minute reservation in the evening and visited the restaurant. When I entered, the counter was fully booked so I was seated at a table in the back. I enjoyed seasonal dishes and added two types of rolls to my order, along with the restaurant's specialty, inari sushi. Even though one person was late and another had to leave suddenly, the staff kindly accommodated us. I look forward to dining at the counter next time.

Inari sushi is all-you-can-eat for up to 10 pieces for 6,000 yen at 13 cans, making it a good cost performance for lunch in Ginza! There is also a course with snacks for 8,500 yen! It seems that you can eat slowly until around 2 o'clock with 9 cans + 5-6 snacks in this course. Instagram yakitoreeman.

The sushi chef was very friendly and not intimidating at all. The sea urchin and shrimp were really delicious, but the eel, oh the eel! It was amazing. So fluffy and the sauce was not overpowering. It was the first time I was so impressed by eel. My friend and I were speechless and wide-eyed in amazement.

Today, I visited the restaurant for lunch for the second time. I had previously enjoyed their omakase dinner, which was really delicious, but this time we came for lunch to celebrate my mother's birthday. We ordered the 4200 yen menu. Once we were seated, the dishes came out promptly. Starting with the chawanmushi, the sushi made with seasonal ingredients was all really delicious. The uni from Rebun Island was especially amazing as it is currently in season. The anago at the end was light and fluffy, melting in the mouth. We wanted to try all three types of inari sushi, but we were already full, so we asked for smaller portions with wasabi and ginger. Finally, the lychee sherbet for dessert was also delicious. I would love to come back every week, but the lunch menu is really a great deal.

[Access] It's about a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station on each line. From the Do-hashi intersection towards Ginza, there is a sushi restaurant on the first street along the way. [Operating Hours and Store] This time, I made a phone reservation at 12:00 on a weekday before dining. When I entered the restaurant, it was about 30% full, but it quickly became full. The interior of the restaurant is bright, using light-colored wood, giving it a clean feeling. There are counter seats and table seats. ◾When making a reservation, they ask about the lunch course ◾They have lunch beer ◾They provide wet towels ◾They serve tea [Lunch Sushi] ◆Lunch Beer / 500 yen / tax included It's a small glass, about 250ml. The brand is Suntory Premium Malt. It's a fragrant beer that goes well with sushi. ◆Tatsumi / 4,200 yen / tax included The sushi rice has a small grain size. The balance of acidity and sweetness is perfect. The sushi is plump, and when you bite into it, it feels airy and fluffy. ◾When you bite into the firefly squid, it's sweet ◾The medium fatty tuna is rich in fat and melts in your mouth ◾The seared golden snapper is fragrant and delicious ◾The ikura gunkan has a crunchy texture ◾The fatty mackerel has a great richness. It's delicious, and the decorative knife work is nice ◻The seafood chawanmushi has excellent broth. It's fluffy and delicious ◾The marinated tuna changes your concept of it being delicious ◾The sea urchin gunkan is creamy and delicious ◾The shrimp has a firm texture ◾The rolled sushi ▫Tuna and sushi rice. Nori. The balance is good ▫The squid rolled sushi is a first for me. I like it ▫The bonito rolled sushi enhances the umami ◾The tamagoyaki is nice ◾The conger eel has delicious sweet sauce. It melts in your mouth ◾You can eat as much inari sushi as you want ▫The wasabi has a good balance of sweetness and the spicy kick of wasabi ◾There were two types of desserts, and this time I finished with mango sherbet. [Staff] The head chef is friendly. And the consideration and excellent customer service are wonderful. [In Conclusion] Looking for a delicious and cost-effective sushi restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo. The joy of finding one is like being full of smiles. This sushi restaurant makes you smile. The knife skills are amazing. The skillful storytelling. Even though it's lunch, they never cut corners. And this high performance can be enjoyed for a few thousand yen. It's wonderful. Furthermore, the head chef mentioned that they used to operate late at night catering to the club crowd in Ginza, but "with the changing times, I started serving lunch sushi."... Delicious sushi to fill your stomach. This was my first visit for lunch. I ordered the "Gorgeous" sushi set which includes 13 pieces of nigiri sushi. Although there were no standout ingredients, everything was delicious. At the end, they served complimentary inari sushi, which was all-you-can-eat. Having already eaten 13 pieces of sushi, the all-you-can-eat inari sushi seemed like too much. The sushi included: 1. White squid 2. Spring snapper 3. Horse mackerel 4. Medium fatty tuna 5. Seared Japanese whiting 6. Salmon roe 7. Sea urchin 8. Sardine 9. Shrimp 10. Seared blackthroat seaperch 11. Red clam with egg 12. Katsuo tataki (bonito) 13. Simmered conger eel. They also offered complimentary inari sushi with unlimited refills. The meal was accompanied by chawanmushi, mango sherbet, draft beer, and Aomori sake.

Family sushi lunch. I made a reservation! We chose the "ga" course, which is now priced at 6000 yen. It seems that the cost has increased due to high ingredient and transportation costs. First, we were served chawanmushi, which had a gentle salt flavor. Personally, I found it a bit lacking in flavor and wished the broth was stronger. Then, the sushi arrived - including chu-toro, sea bream, seared gizzard shad, lean tuna marinated, young yellowtail, horse mackerel, salmon roe, and sea urchin on one plate. The standout pieces were the seared gizzard shad, horse mackerel, salmon roe, and sea urchin. The sushi rice was firm and not seasoned with red vinegar. The size of the rice was small, creating a good balance. Next, we were served shrimp, white fish, sardine, and ark shell. The shrimp and ark shell were delicious. The ark shell was pleasantly crunchy! Finally, we had eel and egg sushi. The eel was fluffy. We then enjoyed miso soup, inari sushi, and dessert. The miso soup had a nice dashi flavor and was served with three inari sushi flavors - sesame, pickled ginger, and wasabi, with a limit of 10 pieces per person. The inari sushi had a slightly sweet fried tofu skin with various flavors inside. The taste was average. The dessert was kiwi sherbet, which was satisfyingly generous in portion!

I heard that this sushi restaurant is popular for its silver sushi lunch, so I decided to try it out. I think the 6000 yen course is good. There was a student eating the 3000 yen course. There is definitely a difference in the quality of the ingredients. The hosomaki in the 3000 yen course was pre-rolled, so the seaweed was damp. In the 6000 yen course, they rolled it properly. And at the end, they serve 3 pieces of inari sushi. You can ask for seconds, but I was already full. The pickled inari sushi was delicious. The cost performance is good. This place is great for a cheap sushi lunch.

Visited with 5 friends and had a refined lunch at this restaurant. They asked about my dislikes, so I got toro without any fatty parts. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation were great. In a time when red vinegar rice dominates, it was refreshing to have regular vinegar rice. However, the seating at the counter is cramped, making it difficult to sit especially during the pandemic. It seems that there is a limit of 10 pieces of inari sushi now.

It was around 13:30 on a regular day when I visited. The neighborhood is lively and vibrant at night, making it a great place to have lunch. The first floor of the restaurant had a bright and beautiful counter in the front, with tables at the back. Today, I tried the chef's special. I started with a steamed egg custard served with plenty of ginger on the side. Despite being on the smaller side, the egg custard was delicious with a good amount of ingredients. The sushi was colorful and tasty. The sea urchin was creamy without any fishy taste. The salmon roe had a nice pop to it. The shrimp was thick and had a satisfying texture. The knife skills of the chef were impressive. Next came the sushi rolls, egg, and eel. The rolls had chewy squid inside, which was enjoyable. The egg was sweet with a balanced dashi flavor. The eel was also delicious. I then had some fried tofu pockets, and I was pleased to hear that I could have refills. The thick and juicy fried tofu pockets were very tasty. I ended the meal with pumpkin ice cream. It was a wonderful experience having such amazing sushi for lunch. Sushi restaurants in Ginza are truly on another level. The place is clean and the sushi is delicious. You can enjoy sushi and drinks from lunchtime. The price of alcohol may be a bit high, but the servers make sure everything is clean. The beer was tasty with fine bubbles. It's a fantastic restaurant!

I took a day off from work and visited this restaurant without a reservation. Luckily, they had an opening so I could dine in. The lunch menu had three options: 1) course using seasonal ingredients, 2) course with classic sushi, and 3) luxury course with extra five pieces. I chose option 2 this time. Each piece of sushi was exquisite, with the hidden knife work making all the ingredients melt in my mouth. The highlight for me was the shrimp and conger eel. The seared fish was horse mackerel, and other items included marinated tuna and rolled sushi with bonito and mackerel. The steamed egg custard had clams in it and was fluffy. If you're worried about getting full with just 8 pieces of sushi, fear not. They offer inari sushi with three types of toppings - wasabi, sesame, and pickled ginger, and you can have up to 10 pieces. The restaurant will be closed around the 21st, so make a reservation if you want to experience high-quality sushi in Ginza at a reasonable price.

I visited Sushi Tatsumi after a long time. This time, I made a reservation for a 3800 yen course one week ago. The dishes I had were: sumiika, chawanmushi, haruko tai, akami, carabinero, ikura, uni, tsukemono, rolled iron fire and squid mentaiko, anago, tamago, and as much inari-zushi as you like. The quality of the ingredients was generally good. Therefore, this course was very reasonable. They served the dishes at a good pace. The last inari-zushi that you can have as much as you like was outstanding, almost like a dessert. The anago was particularly impressive, with a soft and melty texture. I had been feeling that most sushi restaurants (including high-end ones) were not that great lately, but encountering this wonderful anago left me very satisfied. The takeout flyer is also excellent, and this place never disappoints. The 2500 yen lunch, limited to 10 servings, seems to be very popular! I didn't know about it, but I'll try to aim for it next time! Instagram: lunchkirakira (Ginza lunch) https://www.instagram.com/lunchkirakira/?hl=ja Over 24,000 followers now!

I visited for lunch. I had a reasonably priced lunch at a sushi counter. Here are my thoughts as someone with a childlike palate. I thought the rice could use a bit more acidity and saltiness to enhance the flavor. Is this how sushi at the counter is supposed to be? The squid that came out first and the tuna towards the end really impressed me. The nori flavor is really delicious. Overall, it's tasty.

Lunch menu has three options, "Irodori" features seasonal ingredients, "Takumi" offers high-end traditional items like shrimp and sea urchin, and "Miyabi" includes 8 pieces from "Takumi" plus 4 additional pieces. This time, I chose the "Nigiri Irodori" (tax included ¥2500) to enjoy seasonal ingredients. The "Shiro Ika" was topped with salt and yuzu, giving a refreshing citrusy aroma. The squid was tender and not too chewy. The "Harukodai" had a firm white flesh with a rich flavor complemented by the aroma of shiso leaves. The "Chawanmushi" contained clams inside. The "Aji" and "Masu" were lightly seared, fatty, and deliciously tender. The "Iwashi" had a hint of ginger and scallions, with a nice balance of flavors. The "Ikura" was rich in taste, allowing the flavor of the salmon roe to shine through. The "Maguro zuke" had a subtle soy sauce flavor. The "Tamagoyaki" was not too sweet. The "Maki" included burdock root and okra with plum, both tasty. The "Nihama" was large and tender, cooked in a savory sauce. The "Anago" was soft and flavorful. I also ordered the "Nodoguro," lightly seared with a fragrant aroma. After finishing the nigiri, a complimentary "Inari" sushi was served, with sesame, wasabi, and pickled ginger options. I ordered one of each, and later ordered another set mixing all three. Lastly, a black sugar ice cream dessert was served. For drinks, I started with a Sapporo Black Label beer, then had a draft beer and a shochu soda, while my companion enjoyed a large sake. The total bill for two was just over ¥10,000. Considering the quality and quantity, the additional 4 pieces (2 clams and 2 nodoguro) were a great deal at around ¥2000. My favorites were the "Harukodai," "Masu," and "Nihama." The complimentary "Inari" at the end was a nice touch. I look forward to visiting again.

I watched a recommended video of this restaurant on YouTube and immediately made a reservation. The 2500 yen course was limited to 10 people and I couldn't get it, so I booked the 3800 yen course. I was seated in front of the counter where the manager was. The meal started with a question about whether there was anything I didn't like. The meal included Chidai (a type of sea bream), medium fatty tuna, grilled golden eye snapper, shrimp, sea urchin, bluefin tuna, salmon, salmon roe, tamagoyaki (egg omelette), inari sushi with 3 types of ginger rolls, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), miso soup, and strawberry ice cream. Each dish was prepared by skilled craftsmen and tasted even more delicious. I was impressed by their meticulous work.

@sushitatsumi ✨I had a moment where I suddenly got hooked on sushi lunches 😂 After doing a lot of research, I ended up here ✨ They offer various types of nigiri sushi, chirashi bowls, and omakase sets, all at reasonable prices. So, I decided to try the SAI course (8 pieces of nigiri, rolls, tamagoyaki for ¥2,500) this time! Here's what I had on that day: ✨【Nigiri】- Suzuki (sea bass) - Sumiika (cuttlefish) - Kuroiwashi (black sardine) - Sayori no konbu-jime (needlefish marinated in kelp) - Shirauo gunkan (whitebait battleship) - Ikura (salmon roe) - Akami no zuke (marinated tuna) - Nagaimo no umesu (long yam with plum vinegar) - Zuke to yamagobou no maki (pickled eel and burdock root roll) - Anago (sea eel) - Tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) - Chawanmushi (savory egg custard) - Miso soup - Sakura ice cream Chawanmushi, miso soup, and ice cream were also included in this course! Considering the location, this place is quite good, isn't it? And guess what, they have a service called "Oinari-san" (Inari sushi) here ← !? It comes with pickled ginger, wasabi, and sesame, three different kinds. And the best part is, you can have as much Inari sushi as you want for free!! 😂 *Please note that this was the case at that time, so please check with the restaurant for the current status! Of course, I had a little bit more because I was planning to do a sushi lunch crawl that day 😂 You can request different versions within a certain range of taste, and I asked for more wasabi for the refill 😊 I will visit again for sure 🏃‍♂️ Next time, I just want to go and eat a lot of sushi in a simple way 😂 I've seen many people posting about this place on Instagram recently, so it's better to make a reservation when you plan to visit! Thank you for the meal.

I visited again for dinner after being impressed during lunch♡ After visiting on a whim last time after leaving the hospital, I came back again. The restaurant has counter seats and semi-private rooms, and this time I was seated at the counter. The atmosphere was calm, and the sushi being made in front of me was impressive! I ordered the chef's choice this time. We toasted with a highball and the sushi came out at a good pace! Some appetizers came out first, and the sushi was truly delicious and made me feel happy. Everything was delicious, but the grilled conger eel was slightly sweet and warm, making it delicious! All the sushi was delicious too! Thank you for the meal!
