On the 3rd day of July 2019 in Hokkaido, we left Shiretoko and arrived in Kushiro. We stayed at the Hotel WBF Kushiro that night. After checking in, we took a stroll around Kushiro city. We bought souvenirs at Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf MOO and had dinner at Restaurant Izumiya. Later, we visited Big House Asahimachi store, a supermarket chain mainly found in Hokkaido and Tohoku regions. We bought Clear Asahi Hokkaido no Megumi beer for 116 yen and Tokachi pork bowl sauce for 232 yen. Back in Osaka, we used the sauce to make a pork bowl dish. The pork from KOHYO supermarket was delicious. The sauce, with a sweet soy sauce base, was versatile and went well with various dishes. The Clear Asahi Hokkaido no Megumi beer was refreshing and complemented the pork bowl perfectly. It was a satisfying meal!

I wonder if it's okay to write a review for "GOOD CHICKEN" since they are not registered for mobile sales and were operating at Big House. Why do kitchen cars like "GOOD CHICKEN" always look so delicious and appealing? The young chicken bone-in fried chicken costs 950 yen and comes with 5-6 pieces. Enjoy it with beer at home. Unfortunately, it was dry and salty, lacking juiciness. Couldn't find anything good about it, sorry. For 950 yen, I expected more. Maybe their kebab sandwich is better? It might be a good idea for them to stick to operating from a kitchen car and move around to different locations.
