I also bought a thick ham cutlet sandwich for 90 yen, but it was eaten before I could taste it, so I don't know how it was. I was looking forward to trying a ham cutlet sandwich since it's not as common as tonkatsu sandwiches. The apple pie was also eaten before I could taste it. The bakery's hours are the same as MaxValu, from 7 am to 11 am, which is an amazing operating time! You can have bread whenever you want! Thank you for the meal!

Today's stop is "MaxValu Instore Bakery Ishikawa Store". I remembered there was a bakery here and decided to check it out. When I arrived after 2pm, there were plenty of bread displayed. As I was browsing, I noticed a sign for "Wiener Roll for 98 yen". There were two flavors available, ketchup and mustard, and I chose the latter. In addition to the Wiener Roll, I also got the "Minced Pork Cutlet Sandwich". The Wiener Roll had a mild mustard flavor, and the Minced Pork Cutlet Sandwich was more filling than I expected, providing a satisfying meal. I think I'll try their bread next time. I usually use the one in Horikawa, but they have the same items so... It's delicious for the price and I often use it, especially on Tuesdays when it's a good deal!! Not all, but you can buy some for 100 yen. I like "Walnut Bread," "Melon Bread," "Round Apple Pie," "Triangle Pizza," "French Bread," "Bacon Cheese French," "Raisin Bread," and "Deep-Fried Bread." The French bread may not be suitable for those who like authentic hard ones, but my father and I like the slightly softer ones here. Today, I wanted something sweet, so I got the "Deep-Fried Bread." It has a nostalgic taste... The edge is a bit crispy and delicious. On Tuesday, the Young Batard is 90 yen, slice it, toast it, dip it in olive oil, and it's delicious.

I love this nostalgic bean bread in this shape, but I wonder if it's only found in Hokkaido. It has chunks of sweet red beans scattered throughout. It's moist, but it tends to get squished when you hold it, which can be a bit frustrating. Since the ingredients list includes "anko," I assume they knead sweet red bean paste into the dough. Even though you only get two pieces for half the price, it's still a good deal at 140 yen. It's also nice when you find this bread on sale at the supermarket. On this particular day, sandwiches were also on sale.

I visited the MaxValu Ishikawa store for the first time, as I don't usually come here. The bakery section was not very large, but it seemed to have a wider variety compared to other MaxValu stores. The egg toast was delicious.
