(One day's dinner, part 2) After leaving the first restaurant "Dairoji", I was planning to have ramen but I am already full. So, I decided to end the meal with some light sushi! I visited the restaurant "Nemuro Hanamaru", which was featured on "Sakagami & Sashihara's Unbreakable Store" and bookmarked it. The visit time was 18:30. It was quite crowded after the broadcast, but today I was able to enter immediately. The small standing restaurant had a counter for 6 people and 5 tables for 2 people. There were about 4-5 customers at the counter on this day, mostly local working men and women. I looked at the menu and ordered the following: [Menu for this visit] - Highball 550 yen - Recommended 5-piece nigiri 1,560 yen - Aburi Nishin from Abashiri 190 yen - Abura Garei from Nemuro 190 yen From the small menu, I ordered a highball for a toast as the second stop. [Recommended 5-piece nigiri] "Bouzu Ginpo" Thick slices! A plump texture with a light and not overpowering fat taste. The taste of deep-sea fish with a light touch, very delicious. "Maguro (Bluefin Tuna)" Hard to describe! A lean Otoro!? Thick slices with a firm knife cut, very easy to eat. It is also light and delicious, but the original taste of tuna seems to be lacking. "Nanbun Yude Tako" Octopus, also thick!! Perfectly boiled for 7 minutes, the perfect texture. The firm knife cut is also evident here! When you put it in your mouth, the octopus does not stick to your mouth due to its softness. The slightly spicy flavor of the octopus that occasionally appears is a great accent. "Dekkai Aka Ebi Hibi Konbu" Huge! When you eat it, the shrimp is crunchy! The sweetness of the shrimp, the subtle scent of konbu, and a pleasant taste. The shrimp spreads in your mouth, making you feel happy. "Beni Sake Sujiko Shoyu-zuke" Personally, I love sujiko! The balance between the soy sauce and mirin-based marinade and the umami of the sujiko itself is delicious! Soft and chewy! It's a pleasure. "Soup" Since I ordered alcohol, it was served last as a thoughtful gesture. The soup was very clear, and when I tasted it, it had a moderate salty taste from the fish broth. And there was a hint of burdock scent! Although it was called "soup", it not only had bones but also small pieces of Tai fish with meat still attached. Amazing! You can also eat the meat of this Tai fish. Additionally, burdock appeared! The burdock scent made the fish fat milder. When you taste the burdock, it was cooked in a different seasoning and was delicious as an ingredient too. I requested the chef for "Hokkaido-style sushi" as a recommendation. [Abura Garei] Grilled with a thick cut! It's good to grill it firmly to avoid the smell of gas from the burner. When you put it in your mouth, it melts with a smooth texture, and you can feel the umami of the fish. [Toro Nishin] You can eat raw herring, which is very fortunate. It's about the second time in my life! When you eat it, you can taste the flavor of herring! This too has a light fat content and you can feel the umami of the fish. [One recommendation for this visit] - Soup! The clear soup with a rich flavor, it was the best bowl! [Editor's Note] - Visit time Eat Log score: 3.55 - Paid with ID this time. - The banter between the two chefs at the counter was enjoyable!
