I love Toyoko Inn. There are 2 branches in Hakodate, and this time I stayed at the Odori branch. The breakfast was simple... The local menu was salted fish guts! I happened to run into an acquaintance so I don't have many photos, sorry. By the way, when I stayed in Seoul, it was kimchi for breakfast, haha. Thank you for the meal!

I passed on East Yokohama meal yesterday because I went to the morning market. Today's lunch is also going to be early, so I plan to eat something very light. It's free after all. There was some information suggesting that the side dishes might be lacking, but I think it's on par with the average East Yokohama meal. I ended up eating quite a bit. As for a Hakodate-style dish, there was salted squid.

I'm on a business trip to Hakodate for 4 nights, but I could only book one night at the cheap Toyoko Inn. The breakfast is Toyoko style, with onigiri as the main dish. There are not many side dishes, so you can try them all. Since it's a free breakfast, I have no complaints. I don't expect a breakfast like Comfort or Super Hotel. If you become a member, you can stay for free after a few stays. They also provide receipts. I haven't done it myself, but it's nice that there are bars nearby due to the location.

The room is comfortable. Breakfast is okay, nothing special.

On February 11, I stayed at a hotel and had breakfast on February 12. Once again, I stayed at Toyoko Inn. My wife is a member, so we can stay at a discounted rate, and the free cancellation until the day before is also a good feature. This time we were in Hakodate, and I was planning to go to the morning market. Although my wife was still sleeping, I decided to go alone. Toyoko Inn's free breakfast varies slightly depending on the location. However, this one was pretty standard. The miso soup ingredients were placed in the bowl, and the style of pouring the broth over it may be unusual, but it was nothing special. There were quite a few items that could serve as side dishes for rice, so it seemed sufficient. Since I was here for sightseeing, this breakfast was like a bonus for me. But for business travelers, it may be a valuable meal. After settling my stomach a bit, I headed to the morning market. Thank you for the hospitality. Thank you for the meal.
