When I went before at night, it wasn't open. Later I checked and found out it was before opening hours. I'm Hiroshi. When I went at 7 in the morning, it was closed. I want a refund for the parking fee. Hiroshi here. Hiroshi here. Hiroshi here... This time, on the third try, let's go to another place. We ended up at a Genghis Khan restaurant open late at night. This is the second branch of the original Sapporo Genghis Khan restaurant "Sheep God." Located at B1F, Misato Tower Building, 5-13 Minami 5-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. If you don't know the location, it's a bit inconspicuous. We went downstairs and entered the small restaurant, sitting at the counter. No customers before us, but there were customers after us. The restaurant's official information on Tabelog says all seats are non-smoking, but the actual situation is unclear. First, the Genghis Khan pot is set with various vegetables arranged around the edge of the pot. There's no cover charge, and this costs 330 yen, which is quite reasonable. We ordered the following meats: Aged shoulder loin for 1,380 yen and aged lamb shoulder for 990 yen. While grilling the meat, we also enjoy the vegetables, dipping them in the sauce before bringing them to our mouths. The vegetables are delicious with the Genghis Khan sauce, but I felt that the quality of the potatoes could be better. The aged lamb shoulder is tasty even when eaten as is, with a salty taste and juiciness, indicating it was aged to a good extent. The sauce, a Kyushu soy sauce-based one and the Genghis Khan sauce, enhances the flavor of the lamb meat even more. The aged shoulder loin is delicious as expected, but the aged lamb shoulder also has a sweetness coming from the fat within the richness. As the effects of eating in the morning start to show, I switch to a soft drink, opting for black oolong tea which is slightly more expensive than normal oolong tea. A finishing Genghis Khan meal is always a treat once in a while.
