Interior: Spacious with counter seats, raised seating, and table seats in a few rooms. Course with all-you-can-drink for 4,000 yen (tax included). ★ Salad. ★ Assorted soy sauce hot pot. ★ Sashimi (tuna, salmon). ★ Tempura (shrimp, smelt, okra, shiitake mushrooms). ★ Grilled dishes (stingray fin, mackerel). ★ Seared dishes (beef fillet, onion, shishito peppers). ★ Sushi (tuna, salmon). Ordering alcohol (to your heart's content) on a tablet ✨. I like Umi e in the chain street. Sometimes I come to eat a lot of crab. The seafood is the main focus, and the tempura is crispy and delicious with a salt flavor. However, some people prefer a lighter taste, so I wish I could adjust the amount of salt (laughs). On this evening, I had a great time at Obihiro Horse Racing (Ban'ei Horse Racing) and the night passed by quickly. I was grateful that the restaurant was still open. As for the service charge of 10%, it depends on how you evaluate it in terms of cost performance. Location: I relied on a restaurant that had available time this time, so I don't know much about the location. However, I vividly remember that it was on the second floor of a Seven-Eleven (laughs). Exterior: The entrance of the restaurant is on the first floor and looks quite stylish. Perhaps the service charge covers the cost of this kind of hardware. Interior atmosphere: There are semi-private table seats lined up and a counter with 7 pairs of seats. However, during my visit, there was only one pair at the table and just us at the counter, totaling 2 pairs. The interior is calm with a two-tone of black and wood. However, if they want to make use of this luxury atmosphere, the tablet order system seems a bit out of place. After all, they are charging a service fee. (I'm being persistent) Food and more: The food quality seems high. It's about the quality, not the price (laughs). - Deep-fried Chinese yam (539 yen) ... The yam is big, so you can fully enjoy the taste of the yam. Good! - Roast lamb (759 yen) ... The deliciousness of the lamb and the savory roast flavor are exquisite. - Crab shell croquette (forgot the price) ... Tastes like crab paste. - Char-grilled Naka-Furanai chicken (590 yen) ... The savory flavor is prominent and delicious. - Half-sized Atka mackerel (1089 yen) ... It's delicious with a good amount of fat. The dishes are very delicious. The draft beer is Asahi Super Dry for 649 yen, but it's a bit of a downside that the foam has settled by the time it's served. The lineup of sake is abundant, with a variety displayed on the blackboard menu.

Mid-September weekend. Since it's my birthday month and the number of infections in Hokkaido has calmed down, I feel like taking a trip with Goto for the first time in a while. It's getting colder, so a hot spring would be nice! I searched for various options, but my husband mentioned that the prices for the Goto campaign are higher than usual, so he doubts the value for money. I was in the mood to stay at a luxury hot spring inn for this occasion, but since my husband couldn't find a place he agreed with, we ended up staying at the usual business hotel with a hot spring (*≧▽≦) and we decided to eat out for dinner. In the afternoon, I started getting a headache, so I didn't have much of an appetite, and I chose this chain restaurant near the hotel that I've been to a few times in Sapporo and feel familiar with. We went early right after they opened, but the semi-private rooms were already fully booked, so we were seated at the counter. Looking at the menu, there was a 520 yen menu related to the Goto campaign, so I decided to order from there. - Hokkaido Black Wagyu Beef Seared 520 yen The portion served was smaller than expected, but since I didn't have much of an appetite, one piece was enough for me. The fat was sweet and delicious (*'ω'*) and the experience of grilling it yourself was quite nice. - Special Selection Sushi Three Pieces 520 yen The medium fatty tuna was sweet and melty (*´▽`*), the sea bream had a standard taste, and the sea urchin was a bit too strong with the miso paste. - Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura 520 yen There were few types of vegetables, but they were crispy and delicious. The tempura sauce and salt were both provided, which was a nice touch. I wasn't expecting much, but the dark horse turned out to be the shrimp tempura! It was plump, full of umami, and juicy, the most delicious shrimp tempura I've had recently (`・ω・´)b - Cold Tantan Noodles 520 yen The noodles were chewy, the broth was quite spicy for me, but if you savor it, there's a sweetness of miso and umami within the spiciness, which was delicious (*'ω'*) My husband added a separate plate of doubanjiang and ate it while sweating, saying "it's quite tasty." The ice provided gives a refreshing feeling, but my husband thought it diluted the sauce so it wasn't necessary. There was a satisfying amount for one serving. - Seafood Scattered Rice 520 yen It was smaller than I imagined from the menu photo, which was a pleasant surprise since I was already full. I poured the broth over it halfway through and enjoyed it like ochazuke (^^♪ - Chicken and Vegetable Ponzu 520 yen The skin was crispy and fragrant, but the meat was slightly overcooked, making it a bit tough. - Baked Potatoes (Cod Roe) 390 yen The potatoes were fluffy and delicious. I thought the cod roe and butter were separate, but it turned out to be cod roe mixed into the butter, so the cod roe flavor was weaker than expected. - Hokkaido Golden Chicken Liver 390 yen The liver was creamy and had a good texture. It had a slightly unique taste that bothered me a bit, so I tried adding shichimi pepper, which enhanced the flavor. We used the Hot Pepper coupon to order a 199 yen beer from the staff. I asked for water without ice to take my medicine, and it was surprisingly good water without any strange taste. The food was delicious, the atmosphere at the counter was comfortable, but the service was just adding a 10% service charge, which left some doubts. The prices of the dishes didn't feel very cost-effective, and since it was cold, I ordered a warm green tea for 330 yen, which was more expensive than the coupon beer (lol). The most disappointing part was the restroom. The light was dimming, and there was a faint dust on the walls... The front of the restaurant has a calm and nice atmosphere, so if they pay attention to the back side that is usually not visible, the place could become even more comfortable. All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink shabu-shabu for 3500 yen. The meat is pork belly, and it comes with a plate of vegetables, salad, tempura, edamame, salmon pressed sushi, and ramen as a finishing touch. It feels more like a hot pot than shabu-shabu, but you can have unlimited refills and I left feeling satisfied with a full stomach.

Today, I felt like eating crab so I went to the ocean for the first time in a while. I went to a restaurant called Sanhe at 7:30, and it was quite crowded. I'm glad I made a reservation. I ordered homemade crab miso grilled in the shell for 890 yen, crab miso and homemade crab shell tempura for 690 yen each, steamed Hiroshima oysters with ponzu jelly for 890 yen, ponzu jelly for 890 yen, today's sashimi, salmon sashimi, and beer. It's a chain restaurant with a variety of affordable crab dishes, and I really like this place. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This is an izakaya located in the heart of the bustling district of Obihiro. The location is convenient and the sashimi platter and beer I ordered were delicious. The sashimi was fresh and the texture was perfect. They have a wide variety of drinks available. I would like to continue visiting this place in the future.

It was average. The salmon roe was frozen, haha. The tamagoyaki was a bit firm. The miso soup was well-prepared. I wish they had given more ikura. Overall, it was just average for Hokkaido. But hey, when we asked about the air conditioning, they turned it off right away. Great customer service, so grateful for that!

I visited the izakaya "Umi e" in Obihiro. It was surprising to see that there were not many people around, even though it was a Sunday. We were looking for a place to try Obihiro's famous pork bowl, but most of the shops were closed. That's when we found "Umi e" and decided to go in. The atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed a refreshing beer to start. We ordered dishes like red salmon sashimi, asparagus tempura, and zangi (Hokkaido-style fried chicken). We also received a salmon marinated appetizer which was delicious. It was a memorable experience on our trip, enjoying good food and drinks with my husband. Thank you for a great time! It was delicious!

Everyone was full, but after visiting a few cafes and finding them all full, we ended up at an izakaya. It was a bit quiet for a Friday night in terms of customers. However, despite being full, we ended up eating quite a lot. Although not shown in the pictures, the tempura of dried squid was delicious. The spring herring sashimi was fresh and crunchy, allowing us to enjoy the sweetness of the herring's fat. As the sign says, "towards the sea," the fish here is fresh and delicious. We drank and ate a lot, and it turned into a fun second party. The private table-like seating made for lively conversations.

During my trip to Hokkaido, I had to try seafood, so I searched for a seafood restaurant near my accommodation at Obihiro Station. The restaurant was located in a bustling area with many izakayas. I didn't have high expectations at first because it looked like a chain izakaya. However, the pickled herring served as an appetizer was delicious, and the Zangi (fried chicken) I ordered was juicy and tasty. I also enjoyed dishes like sashimi of snow crab, assorted sashimi, and assorted cheeses, all showcasing the flavors of Hokkaido. The fish was prepared right in front of us, emphasizing its freshness. The staff were friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable. Eating crab in Hokkaido can be expensive, but I was able to enjoy delicious Hokkaido cuisine at a relatively reasonable price.

During our trip, my family of four entered the restaurant after 9 pm. We wanted to try seafood dishes since we were in Hokkaido, so we decided to visit a restaurant with an intriguing name near our hotel. However, to our surprise, the restaurant was located on the second floor of a Seven Eleven. When we entered and stood at the entrance, there was no staff at the register. A female staff member was serving dishes in the back, and when I tried to get her attention, she completely ignored me. Normally, you would at least greet customers even if you are busy. This made me feel uneasy. The service continued to be subpar, with the staff, especially one girl, seeming clueless and forgetful. The food was disappointing as well. The crab miso tasted fishy, and the sashimi platter we ordered had only one piece of each type of fish. I have never seen such a presentation before. The pressed sushi was decent, though. The next day, I realized I had lost some belongings and called various places for inquiries. When I called the restaurant, they immediately said they didn't have it without even checking. This lack of effort in customer service was disappointing, especially considering that this restaurant is part of a major chain. They should focus on improving their service if they cannot rely solely on the taste of their food.

I went to this restaurant for the first time at a farewell party for my company. It is located in a prominent area in the city center, so I was aware of it, but it looked like a typical casual izakaya so I never thought about going in. The exterior and interior are just like a regular izakaya. As the name suggests, seafood is the main focus, but I didn't find it particularly fresh and the portion size seemed small. The staff (probably student part-timers) didn't seem to remember the menu, so it was a bit of a struggle to place our order. We made the mistake of not making a reservation since we were a small group, so it was disappointing in various ways.

I decided to have a late-night meal in Obihiro and looked for a Japanese restaurant in the city center. Since it was late and a Sunday, there weren't many options open, so we ended up at the Kai To Obihiro store. We sat at the counter and both ordered soft drinks. Surprisingly, we were asked to choose an appetizer from the daily small dish selection. Even though we were only having drinks. The menu was not very extensive, and there was no plain rice or miso soup listed. When we asked the staff, they said they had it. Why not include it in the menu then? We ordered some food and later found out about the daily menu written on the wall. The taste of the dishes was decent, but the prices were too high. For example, the live scallop sashimi for 603 yen (excluding tax) was just a medium-sized scallop with roe and mantle. The seaweed served was dry and the roe and mantle were overcooked and not tasty. I remember the menu stating 730 yen. The lack of explanation from the staff was disappointing. Overall, the volume, ingredients, restaurant setup, and service did not meet expectations. I regret choosing a chain restaurant and the whole dining experience left me unsatisfied. To top it off, I was surprised to see a 10% service charge on the receipt. After receiving such service, what kind of service did they provide? It was just unacceptable. I felt really disappointed with the whole experience.

I used this restaurant for a date. I have a big appetite, so I felt a little unsatisfied because each dish was small in portion. But the taste was delicious. One dish that left a lasting impression was not seafood, but the fried potato cake! It was the best potato cake I have ever had. When you go, definitely try this dish! I would like to visit this izakaya again if I have the chance. However, the prices are not cheap, and you can't expect much from the seafood dishes.

The title says it all. The sashimi portion is small, but it comes with various garnishes like shiso leaves and sprouts. The skewers are grilled right in front of you, but the pork skewers we ordered took a long time to come out and were cold when they did. I wondered where they were grilling them. I ordered cold sake, but it also took a while to arrive, even though the restaurant didn't seem too busy. My companion had grilled salted yellowtail, which was just average. While this place may be stylish in Obihiro, I felt it had the pros and cons of a chain restaurant. Good for a date!
