Last night, as usual, it was a game night... Well, it's not like the older brother with the same name as a common sake from the "Kita no Katsu" brand, which is a staple of the brand, comes out every day (laughs). So, here is a dish before going to work today. Lately, I've been eating rice every day, so I decided to go for something light. Well, it's the Second Street Shopping Street (laughs). In Sapporo's central area, there are six shopping streets: the oldest "Ichiban-gai Shopping Street" from South 1st Street West 1st to West 3rd, "Niban-gai Shopping Street" from Odori to South 4th, "Sanban-gai Shopping Street" from West 3rd, "Yonban-gai Shopping Street" from West 4th of the station front, and "Tanukikoji Shopping Street" and "Sapporo Underground Shopping Street". When you say Niban-gai Shopping Street, it's the Tokashi Building where Nagasaki-ya Sapporo Store and Ryokuya used to be, right? Speaking of Nagasaki-ya Sapporo Store, next to it, "Nibankan" is still there. Nibankan used to be a game center, and timid high school students were often bullied, right? Also, there was free coffee to drink as much as you wanted (laughs). The Tokashi Building has been sold to a Hong Kong-based foreign fund, and a new building is currently under construction. However, when will the construction of the underground bicycle parking lot on West 2nd Street be completed? Looking at the past Street View on Google, the construction started in August 2017, and the completion date is scheduled for 2022. The construction company signed a contract in November 2015, and the completion deadline is August 31, 2018. So, I don't really understand why the completion date is delayed by 4 years. So, today I visited this building where the former Kinshikan was located. Well, the building is still called "Kinshikan Building". Kinshikan and Fletti Daimaru merged and formed a company called Ralls. The company that was established after the merger was "Ralls Plaza Sapporo Store". I used to buy bento boxes in the grocery section downstairs. At that time, when you bought a bento box, you got free miso soup, right? (distant look) It seems that this store has been a tenant since then. So, why McDonald's today? It's simply because the discount coupon in the newspaper insert had an expiration date of September 9th (laughs). I got a Sausage Egg McMuffin, Hash Browns, and Iced Coffee set for 350 yen. If you order each item separately, it would cost 480 yen. With the coupon, it's 350 yen (laughs). I placed my order and payment at the counter and received my items. I went up to the second floor, which is quite high. The inside of the building is designed for this type of shop. But since the building is 51 years old, I don't think McDonald's has been there from the beginning. When I got to the second floor... it's spacious, isn't it? I've never seen a shop this wide. I sat at a table, and let's eat. First, the Hash Browns... hmm, they're lukewarm. At other stores, even if you order them, you usually get them hot after a short wait. It's a bit disappointing (´;ω;`)ウゥゥ The Sausage Egg McMuffin is delicious, as always (laughs). Well, it tastes the same no matter where you eat it, but eating it in the shop itself has its own meaning (laughs). It's all about the atmosphere, you know, the atmosphere (laughs). By the way, it's the season for the Moon-Viewing Burger... where should I eat it? Well, thanks for the meal.
