Tsubame Honten, a private room yakiniku restaurant in Susukino. This was my third visit, including the Minami 5-jo branch. The staff are always friendly and the quality of the meat is great, with excellent value for money. I usually spend around 5,000 yen per person and leave very satisfied. The lean meat, tongue, pork belly, and chicken are all delicious. Overall, this is one of the top recommended restaurants in Sapporo in terms of quality and value. They accept credit cards and allow smoking.

At 6:00 pm, the restaurant was almost full. It is located in a building near Susukino Station exit, where a famous oden restaurant is also located. The restaurant has private rooms for yakiniku, which is quite exciting. There are a few private rooms and a counter with 4 seats. They offer all-you-can-eat options as well. This time, I chose the luxurious course which includes thinly sliced Japanese beef (6000 yen) and there is also an option for all-you-can-drink (1000 yen for classic drinks, 1500 yen for premium drinks). The appetizers were okay, including kimchi, namul, edamame, and salad. But let's be honest, we are here for the meat, right? The rice was cooked just right, and the wakame soup was unique and tasty. The various cuts of meat such as kalbi, sirloin, zabuton, sagari, akami, harami, shimacho, and kobucha were all high-quality and delicious. I also recommend ordering the fried tofu, it was simple but good. Overall, the quality was impressive and the price for the Japanese beef was reasonable. Even with the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink option, the meat quality was not compromised and it was a great value for 5000 yen. The service was good, even though the staff were part-time workers. I wonder why this place doesn't have more reviews. I found out they also offer lunch if you make a reservation, so to all the reviewers out there, please give this place a try!

I have been a repeat customer since the restaurant first opened. There is nothing to complain about. The warmth of the owner and his wife, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the quality of the meat, the service, everything is excellent! Especially the tongue, negi shio-tan, seseri, and sagari are the best! Please try it once. ^ ^

I finally went to a yakiniku restaurant called Tsubame that I had been curious about for a while. Both my companion and I are students, and for university students, it was a bit of an expensive place. However, I found it on a website and was really interested, so we were finally able to go. We ordered the all-you-can-eat yakiniku course for two, which is limited to one group per day. First, a platter of assorted meats arrived, which looked very luxurious with each piece of meat labeled clearly. The taste was amazing, with the meat being very tender, with just the right amount of marbling, not too rich. It was so good that we ended up eating too much because it was all-you-can-eat. It's the kind of place that makes you want to go back again soon!

The wagyu beef ribs are beautifully marbled and melt in your mouth, while the salted beef tongue is tender and flavorful. The pork hormone is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, without any unpleasant smell. The mixed horse sashimi is a unique dish with a rich, creamy egg yolk sauce. The highlight of the meal is the grilled beef tripe, which is seasoned with soy sauce, green onions, and bonito flakes. It has a crunchy texture and a smoky aroma that is truly delightful. For dessert, they serve a delicious almond tofu with hojicha syrup, which is light and refreshing. Overall, the restaurant offers a great dining experience with quality ingredients and friendly service. It would be even better if they offered smaller portion sizes or more variety in the menu. The drinks are a bit stingy on the alcohol, but you can tell they put effort into making them. It would be nice to see more feedback and suggestions incorporated into their offerings.
